Worldly attitude.... only love redeems....

The worldly attitude harbours the greatest danger for the soul, for it is held back from spiritual striving, it is demanded to take the body into consideration.... thus the will, the thinking and feeling of man is only directed towards creating all comforts for the body. And consequently the soul is prevented from willing the spirit within it, the spiritual is therefore disregarded and the soul either stops in its higher development or it regresses if the physical desire predominates and the human being turns more and more towards the world. For the spiritual realm will never be compatible with the earthly realm.... Worldly fulfilment will never bring salvation to the soul, man can never walk above and below at the same time, he will always have to do one at the expense of the other. And people do not consider this.... All their endeavours are directed towards the comfort of the body, and the soul must live in want as soon as the body's desire is fulfilled. But in what error do people walk when they believe that they fulfil their duties to God by following external ceremonies.... What God demands of people is a living faith in Himself and His word, which must also result in acting in accordance with the word of God. This word teaches the transience of everything earthly, and it gives knowledge of the meaning and purpose of life on earth and of the state of the soul after bodily death.... According to the word of God, life on earth must now be lived in order to shape the state of the soul after death into one full of light. And therefore everything that is earthly, i.e. transient, must be disregarded and only the imperishable soul must be considered as long as the human being remains on earth. However, the soul cannot develop progressively as long as it is prevented by physical desire from uniting with the spirit within itself. And the latter can only happen through working in love.... The neighbour must be considered more than one's own body, the human being must put aside his own "I" and be absorbed in loving his fellow human beings.... However, he who thinks only of himself is still so earthbound that it is difficult for him to detach himself from the earth.... Selfish love is the greatest obstacle to ascent, for selfish love is the opposite of neighbourly love, and only neighbourly love is truly redeeming, only neighbourly love signifies spiritual progress for the soul, and only neighbourly love shapes the human being in accordance with God's will. But every action that lacks neighbourly love is a purely formal act, something external that has no inner value and does not contribute in the slightest to the soul's transformation. Only love redeems, and if a person does not practice love, his soul will be lost for eternity....

Atitude Secular.... Só o amor redime....

A atitude mundana acarreta o maior perigo para a alma, pois é retida do esforço espiritual, é exigida por ela consideração do corpo.... Assim, a vontade, o pensamento e o sentimento do ser humano é apenas dirigido para criar todo o conforto para o corpo. E, por conseguinte, a alma é impedida de estar à vontade do espírito dentro dela, o espiritual passa despercebido, e a alma ou pára no seu desenvolvimento superior ou se molda regressivamente quando o desejo corporal predomina e o ser humano se volta cada vez mais para o mundo. Pois o reino espiritual nunca será compatível com o reino terreno..... A realização mundana nunca trará a salvação à alma, o ser humano nunca poderá caminhar acima e abaixo ao mesmo tempo, terá sempre de fazer um às custas do outro. E as pessoas não consideram esta.... Todo o seu esforço é dirigido ao bem-estar do corpo, e a alma tem de viver em carência assim que o desejo do corpo é realizado. Mas em que erro andam os homens quando acreditam que cumprem os seus deveres para com Deus quando realizam cerimónias externas? O que Deus exige das pessoas é viver a fé nEle mesmo e na Sua Palavra, mas isso também deve resultar em ação de acordo com a Palavra de Deus. Esta Palavra ensina a transitoriedade de todas as coisas terrenas e dá conhecimento do significado e propósito da vida terrena e do estado da alma após a morte corporal.... De acordo com a Palavra de Deus, a vida terrena deve ser vivida para moldar o estado da alma após a morte em um estado cheio de luz. E assim tudo o que é terreno, ou seja, transitório, deve permanecer despercebido e apenas a alma imperecível deve ser considerada enquanto o ser humano permanecer na Terra. Mas a alma não pode desenvolver-se progressivamente, enquanto for impedida pelo desejo físico de se unir ao espírito em si mesma. E esta última só pode acontecer através da actividade no amor.... O próximo deve ser considerado mais do que o seu próprio corpo, o ser humano deve deixar de lado o seu próprio "eu" e tornar-se absorvido na actividade amorosa para com os outros seres humanos..... No entanto, qualquer pessoa que só pensa em si mesmo ainda está tão ligado à terra que é difícil para ele se separar da terra.... O amor ao ego é o maior obstáculo à ascensão, pois o amor ao ego é o oposto do amor ao próximo, e só o amor ao próximo é verdadeiramente redentor, só o amor ao próximo significa progresso espiritual para a alma, e só o amor ao próximo molda o ser humano de acordo com a vontade de Deus. Mas toda ação que carece de amor ao próximo é uma ação puramente formal, algo externo que não tem valor interior e que não contribui em nada para a transformação da alma. Só o amor redime, e se o ser humano não praticar o amor a sua alma ficará perdida para a eternidade...._>Amém
