Love activity spiritual progress....

Everything that can be described as a labour of love is conducive to the soul's higher development, thus every labour of love is spiritual progress. But then also every overcoming of earthly desires as well as the resistance against all evil is to be seen as such, for the latter means a weakening of the opposing power and an increase of one's own strength. Man must inevitably reach the heights if he only longs upwards, towards God, and wants to escape the depths by believing in Jesus Christ, the divine saviour and conqueror of death. For anyone who asks God for strength in faith in Him will also receive it, and every influx of strength from God has to increase the soul's state of maturity and signify the being's spiritual advancement. And again only the strength of will is decisive as to whether the path upwards has to be travelled with great struggle or without a fight. For when the will is still weak the adversary also struggles to turn the will towards himself again and then it requires inner struggle to become master of the adversary. A strong will, i.e., a will which is unconditionally turned towards God, is not a field of attack for the adversary and therefore the spiritual resistance will not be so great. Yet the human being can easily overcome all opposition if he is active in love, for then God Himself will support him. He does a work for his neighbour which reduces his hardship, thus God distributes the same, He also reduces his hardship and helps where the human being is in danger of failing. And therefore the human being who is active in love must inevitably ascend, his state of soul must reach a certain maturity, for he is in love and therefore also in God,.... for God Himself is love....

Atividade amorosa progresso espiritual....

Tudo o que pode ser tratado como a execução de uma obra de amor é propício ao desenvolvimento superior da alma, portanto, toda obra de amor é progresso espiritual. Mas também cada superação dos desejos terrenos, bem como a resistência contra todo o mal, deve ser considerada como tal, pois esta última significa um enfraquecimento do poder do adversário e um aumento das suas próprias forças. O homem deve inevitavelmente alcançar as alturas se deseja apenas subir, para Deus, e quer escapar às profundezas na fé em Jesus Cristo, o divino Redentor e conquistador da morte. Pois todo aquele que, na fé Nele, pedir forças a Deus, também as receberá, e todo influxo de forças de Deus deve aumentar o estado de maturidade da alma e significar um maior desenvolvimento espiritual para o ser. E mais uma vez, só a força de vontade é decisiva para saber se o caminho para a ascensão tem de ser percorrido com grande luta ou sem luta. Pois quando a vontade ainda é fraca, o oponente também luta para virar a vontade para si mesmo novamente, e então requer uma luta interior para se tornar mestre do oponente. Uma vontade forte, ou seja, uma vontade incondicionalmente voltada para Deus, não é campo de ataque para o adversário e, portanto, as resistências espirituais não serão tão grandes. No entanto, o ser humano pode facilmente superar toda a resistência se for ativo no amor, pois então o próprio Deus estará ao seu lado. Ele faz um trabalho para o próximo que reduz as suas dificuldades, assim Deus distribui o mesmo, Ele também reduz as suas dificuldades e ajuda onde o ser humano está em perigo de falhar. E por isso o ser humano que é amorosamente ativo deve subir inevitavelmente, seu estado de alma deve atingir uma certa maturidade, pois ele está apaixonado e por isso também está em Deus,.... pois o próprio Deus é amor....
