Inner voice....

Anyone who does not close himself to the voice of the heart must inevitably do what is pleasing to God, for this voice only sounds where the human being strives towards God, i.e., as soon as he has turned away from God, the inner voice keeps silent.... but not that it also speaks and could persuade man to do evil. The person who gives in to the urging of evil forces.... i.e. does what is contrary to God's will.... will never again hear inner cries of admonition or warning. He has silenced the voice within him by not obeying it when it admonished or warned him. So if the voice in the heart sounds, it is always the divine voice, and what it tells man to do will always be right before God. A person can therefore never act wrongly if he respects his inner voice and obeys it, because he has the will to do good and therefore cannot act wrongly. Only if he has not yet freed himself from worldly desires, if he wants to fulfil earthly desires, then the enemy will tempt him through these earthly desires, and he will hold all earthly pleasures and desires against the urging of the heart. And then the danger is that the inner voice is not heeded. Then the body has gained the upper hand over the heart. And man's will has turned towards that which it should overcome. So that will always be the measure of when the divine will is fulfilled, whether the body and its desires are complied with or whether what the human being does and thinks is of benefit to the soul. And the voice of the heart will always demand that a person do what is beneficial to the soul, but will never sound in favour of the body's desires. Anyone who seriously wants to fulfil God's will will also hear the inner voice clearly enough, he will always know what God requires of him, he will just sometimes lack the strength to carry it out.... but then he only needs to pray and the strength will come to him. His will and his prayer can do everything. However, if he lacks one of the two, his life is a struggle and a fight until he asks sincerely and wills wholeheartedly.... The will of man can accomplish everything if it is united with the divine will. And prayer should therefore apply to the still weak will, for what is incomprehensible to the human being becomes clear to him if he regards himself as a work of God's creation which is inseparable from its creator. And therefore the being is also in constant contact with Him and need only want to feel this connection.... through the divine voice which constantly instructs the human being what he should and should not do.... Yet whether he listens to it depends solely on his will, for God certainly admonishes and warns all His living creations but He does not force them to obey Him....

La Voce interiore

Chi non si chiude alla voce del cuore, deve fare inevitabilmente ciò che compiace a Dio, perché questa voce risuona solamente là dove l’uomo tende verso Dio, cioè appena si è distolto da Dio, la voce interiore tace, ma non che parli contemporaneamente e potesse indurre l’uomo al male. L’uomo che cede alle spinte di forze cattive, cioè fa quello che contraddice la Volontà di Dio, non sentirà mai e poi mai gli Ammonimenti o Avvertimenti interiori. Lui ha fatto tacere in sé la voce, mentre non esegue quanto lo ha ammonito o avvertito. Quando la voce risuona nel cuore, è sempre la Voce divina, e quello che dice all’uomo di fare, sarà anche sempre giusto davanti a Dio. Perciò un uomo che bada alla sua voce interiore e l’esegue, non può mai agire ingiustamente, perché costui ha la volontà per il bene e perciò non può agire nel male. Solo quando non si è ancora liberato dalle bramosie mondane, quando vuole adempiere i desideri terreni, allora è il nemico che lo seduce appunto attraverso queste bramosie terrene, ed è costui che tiene davanti alla spinta del cuore dell’uomo tutte le gioie e piaceri mondani. Ed allora esiste il pericolo che l’uomo non bada alla voce interiore. Allora il corpo ha conquistato il sopravvento sul cuore. E la volontà dell’uomo si è rivolta a ciò che doveva vincere. Quindi la misura sarà sempre quella, quando viene adempiuta la Volontà divina, se viene corrisposto al corpo ed ai suoi desideri oppure a ciò, che l’uomo fa e pensa sarà di utilità per l’anima. La voce del cuore pretenderà sempre dall’uomo di eseguire ciò che è a favore dell’anima, ma non risuonerà mai a favore del desiderio del corpo. Chi ora vuole adempiere seriamente la Volontà di Dio, costui sentirà anche abbastanza chiara la voce interiore, sa in ogni momento quello che Dio pretende da lui, gli manca solo a volte la Forza di eseguirlo, ma allora deve soltanto pregare e gli giungerà la Forza. La sua volontà e la sua preghiera possono ottenere tutto. Ma se manca una di queste due, allora la sua vita è una lotta ed un combattere, finché non chiede intimamente e non vuole ciò che chiede con piena serietà. La volontà dell’uomo compie tutto, quando si unisce con la Volontà divina. Perciò la preghiera dev’essere per la volontà ancora debole, perché ciò che è inafferrabile per gli uomini, gli diventerà chiaro se considera sé stesso come un’Opera di Creazione di Dio, che è inseparabile dal suo Creatore. E perciò l’essere è anche in costante collegamento con Lui e deve soltanto voler anche sentire questo collegamento, attraverso la Voce divina, che indica costantemente all’uomo quello che deve fare e non fare. Ma se l’ascolta, dipende unicamente dalla sua volontà, perché Dio ammonisce ed avverte bensì tutte le Sue creature, ma non le costringe di ascoltarLo.
