Inner voice....

Anyone who does not close himself to the voice of the heart must inevitably do what is pleasing to God, for this voice only sounds where the human being strives towards God, i.e., as soon as he has turned away from God, the inner voice keeps silent.... but not that it also speaks and could persuade man to do evil. The person who gives in to the urging of evil forces.... i.e. does what is contrary to God's will.... will never again hear inner cries of admonition or warning. He has silenced the voice within him by not obeying it when it admonished or warned him. So if the voice in the heart sounds, it is always the divine voice, and what it tells man to do will always be right before God. A person can therefore never act wrongly if he respects his inner voice and obeys it, because he has the will to do good and therefore cannot act wrongly. Only if he has not yet freed himself from worldly desires, if he wants to fulfil earthly desires, then the enemy will tempt him through these earthly desires, and he will hold all earthly pleasures and desires against the urging of the heart. And then the danger is that the inner voice is not heeded. Then the body has gained the upper hand over the heart. And man's will has turned towards that which it should overcome. So that will always be the measure of when the divine will is fulfilled, whether the body and its desires are complied with or whether what the human being does and thinks is of benefit to the soul. And the voice of the heart will always demand that a person do what is beneficial to the soul, but will never sound in favour of the body's desires. Anyone who seriously wants to fulfil God's will will also hear the inner voice clearly enough, he will always know what God requires of him, he will just sometimes lack the strength to carry it out.... but then he only needs to pray and the strength will come to him. His will and his prayer can do everything. However, if he lacks one of the two, his life is a struggle and a fight until he asks sincerely and wills wholeheartedly.... The will of man can accomplish everything if it is united with the divine will. And prayer should therefore apply to the still weak will, for what is incomprehensible to the human being becomes clear to him if he regards himself as a work of God's creation which is inseparable from its creator. And therefore the being is also in constant contact with Him and need only want to feel this connection.... through the divine voice which constantly instructs the human being what he should and should not do.... Yet whether he listens to it depends solely on his will, for God certainly admonishes and warns all His living creations but He does not force them to obey Him....

La Voix intérieure

Celui qui ne se ferme pas à la voix du cœur, doit faire inévitablement ce qui est complaisant à Dieu, parce que cette voix résonne seulement là où l'homme tend vers Dieu, c'est-à-dire que dès qu’il se détourne de Dieu la voix intérieure se tait, mais lorsqu’elle parle elle ne peut pas pousser l'homme au mal. L'homme qui cède aux poussées des forces mauvaises, c'est-à-dire qui fait ce qui est contraire à la Volonté de Dieu, n’entendra jamais et encore jamais les Exhortations ou les Avertissements intérieurs. Il a fait taire en lui la voix en n’obéissant pas aux mises en garde ou aux avertissements. Lorsque la voix résonne dans le cœur, c’est toujours la Voix divine, et ce qu’elle dit à l'homme de faire sera toujours juste devant Dieu. Donc un homme qui s’occupe de sa voix intérieure et la suit, ne peut jamais agir injustement, parce que celui-ci a la volonté pour le bien et donc ne peut pas agir mal. Seulement lorsqu’il ne s'est pas encore libéré des avidités mondaines, lorsqu’il veut s'acquitter de ses désirs terrestres, alors c’est l'ennemi qui le séduit justement à travers ces avidités terrestres, et c’est lui qui tient devant la poussée du cœur de l'homme toutes les joies et les plaisirs mondains. Et alors il existe le danger que l'homme ne s'occupe pas de la voix intérieure. Alors le corps a conquis le dessus sur le cœur. Et la volonté de l'homme s'est tournée vers ce qu’elle devait vaincre. La mesure sera ensuite toujours celle-ci, est-ce que l’homme a réalisé la Volonté divine, c'est-à-dire s’est-il plié au corps et à ses désirs ou bien l'homme a-t-il fait et pensé à ce qui est d'utilité pour l'âme. La voix du cœur exigera toujours de l'homme d'exécuter ce qui est en faveur de l'âme, elle ne résonnera jamais en faveur des désirs du corps. Maintenant celui qui veut s'acquitter sérieusement de la Volonté de Dieu, celui-ci entendra assez clairement la voix intérieure, il saura à tout instant ce que Dieu exige de lui, il lui manquera seulement parfois la Force de l'exécuter, mais alors il doit seulement prier et la Force lui arrivera. Sa volonté et sa prière peuvent tout obtenir. Mais s'il manque une des deux choses, alors sa vie sera une lutte et un combat tant qu’il ne demandera pas intimement et qu’il ne voudra pas ce qu'il demande avec un plein sérieux. La volonté de l'homme accomplit tout, lorsqu’elle s'unit avec la Volonté divine. Donc la prière doit être pour la volonté encore faible, parce que ce qui est insaisissable pour les hommes lui deviendra clair s'il le considère comme une Œuvre de Création de Dieu, qui est inséparable de son Créateur. Et donc l'être est aussi en constante liaison avec Dieu et il doit seulement vouloir sentir cette liaison, à travers la Voix divine qui indique constamment à l'homme ce qu’il doit faire et ne pas faire. Mais le fait de l'écouter dépend uniquement de sa volonté, parce que Dieu met en garde et avertit toutes Ses créatures, mais Il ne les force pas à L’écouter.
