La Benedizione della preghiera – La Forza da Dio

Questa è il potere della preghiera, che vi uniate con Dio e con ciò apriate il vostro cuore per ricevere la Forza. Prendete il ponte verso di Lui ed Egli vi viene incontro ed elargisce ciò che vi manca, che potete ricevere solamente da Lui, la Forza da Dio. Perché ne avete bisogno e può essere guidata a voi solamente quando la richiedete, se riconoscete Dio attraverso la preghiera. Perché attraverso questa dimostrate la fede in Lui, nella Sua Potenza e nel Suo Amore, altrimenti non Lo preghereste. E la fede è la prima premessa che vi possa affluire la Forza di Dio e diventare efficace su di voi, perché solo nella fede in Lui e nella Sua Potenza ed Amore vi aprite all’afflusso della Sua Forza e la ricevete quindi coscientemente. Non le opponete nessuna resistenza e la vostra anima sentirà questa Forza come stimolo, come tendere alla perfezione. Questa è la Benedizione della preghiera, anche quando è una richiesta terrena che Dio non adempie per via della salvezza dell’anima, la Forza che procede dal collegamento con Dio, è a vantaggio dell’anima, è per il suo progresso spirituale, perché ogni collegamento con Dio le procura una Benedizione che esteriormente non è sempre riconoscibile, ma l’anima la percepisce benevolmente. Appena un figlio terreno prega, è sfuggito al potere dell’avversario di Dio; un uomo che prega, viene afferrato dall’Amore di Dio e sta nella Sua Protezione. Un uomo che prega, è umile e riceve perciò anche la Grazia, perché se l’uomo è di spirito arrogante, non prega oppure la sua preghiera è una formalità senza profondo sentimento, perché per la giusta preghiera ci vuole l’umiltà del cuore, l’ammissione della debolezza e la sottomissione alla Volontà di Dio. Ma Dio dà la Sua Grazia all’umile. E stare nella Grazia di Dio deve procurare all’anima il successo spirituale, perché ricevere la Grazia, significa sempre essere certo dell’Aiuto di Dio di cui ha bisogno per la sua risalita. Appena l’uomo prega, diminuisce la sua distanza da Dio, Gli si avvicina e Dio non Si ritira da lui. Egli Si china colmo d’Amore al figlio Suo che Lo invoca ed ogni avvicinamento a Dio fortifica l’anima, perché la Forza di Dio irradia sull’essere che la desidera. E perciò la preghiera è la prima cosa per poter maturare spiritualmente, il cosciente collegamento con Dio è una inconsapevole dichiarazione di fede e l’uomo credente può sempre essere certo dell’Aiuto di Dio, persino quando l’Aiuto gli viene offerto in altra forma di come lo desidera. Ma una preghiera non rimane mai senza effetto sull’anima, perché questa le procura sempre la Forza di Dio, senza la quale l’uomo non può mai maturare e perché questa Forza è il patrimonio più delizioso che può essere trasmesso all’uomo sulla Terra, dato che gli procura la maturità spirituale che è assolutamente necessaria per la Vita eterna.

Blessing of prayer.... power from God....

This is the power of prayer, that you connect with God and thereby open your heart to receive strength. You enter the bridge to Him, and He comes to meet you, and He distributes what you lack, what you can only receive from Him.... strength from God.... For you need this and it can only be supplied to you if you request it, if you acknowledge God through prayer. For through prayer you prove your faith in Him, in His might and His love, otherwise you would not pray to Him. And faith is the first prerequisite for God's strength to flow to you and become effective, for only by believing in Him and His might and love do you open yourselves to the influx of His strength and thus consciously receive it. You do not resist it and your soul will feel this strength as stimulation, as striving for perfection. This is the blessing of prayer, even if it is an earthly request which God does not fulfil for the sake of the soul's salvation, the soul nevertheless benefits from the strength which arises from the connection with God, it benefits its spiritual progress, for every connection with God carries its blessing within itself, not always outwardly recognizable but beneficially felt by the soul. As soon as an earthly child prays it has escaped the power of God's adversary; a praying person is seized by God's love and is under His protection. A praying person is humble and therefore also receives grace, for if the person is arrogant he does not pray or his prayer is formal without deep feeling, for right prayer involves humility of heart, the admission of weakness and submission to God's will.... But God gives His grace to the humble.... And being in God's grace must result in spiritual success for the soul, for receiving grace always means being certain of God's help which he needs for his ascent. As soon as the human being prays he reduces the distance between himself and God, he draws closer to Him and God does not withdraw from him. He bends towards the child pleading with Him full of love, and every approach to God strengthens the soul because strength radiates from God to the being which desires such. And that is why prayer is the first thing to be able to mature spiritually, the conscious contact with God is an unconscious profession of faith, and the believing human being can constantly be certain of God's help, even if the help is offered to him in a different form than he desired. But prayer never has no effect on the soul, because it will always receive strength from God without which the human being can never mature, and because this strength is the most exquisite good that can be conveyed to the human being on earth, it nevertheless provides him with the spiritual maturity which is absolutely necessary for eternal life....
