L’indifferente o indesiderata ricezione del Dono divin

Ogni Dono spirituale dev’essere accolto con gratitudine e perciò riconosciuto come Dono divino. L’uomo ignaro però non lo sa apprezzare e questa è la causa che accoglie indifferente ciò che dovrebbe commuoverlo profondissimamente e renderlo felice. Ed un Dono che viene accolto con tanta indifferenza ha poco effetto sull’anima dell’uomo. Perciò rimane un tentativo senza successo voler trasmettere a quegli uomini la Verità, perché a loro manca la capacità di accettazione, cioè la Forza di conoscenza, che può giungere nuovamente solo all’uomo desideroso. E’ indifferente su quale gradino spirituale si trova quando gli viene offerto il divino Dono di Grazia; se soltanto l’accoglie con cuore affamato, allora viene presto guidato nella conoscenza, perché un cuore desideroso si apre all’afflusso spirituale e quindi questo può anche affluire senza ostacolo e ciò ha per conseguenza che all’uomo viene dischiuso un ricco sapere, che per via terrena non può mai essere raggiunto. L’uomo desideroso riceverà, l’uomo indifferente però andrà a mani vuote, benché gli venga offerto lo stesso, perché il desiderio per il bene spirituale non può mai essere escluso, altrimenti non sarebbe attiva la libera volontà dell’uomo. Così l’uomo deve soltanto volere che gli giunga la Forza di conoscenza, allora presto potrà decidersi quando gli viene portato la Verità spirituale ed allora sarà anche grato dal più profondo del cuore, che viene degnato della Grazia divina.

Indifferent or demanding acceptance of the divine gift....

Every spiritual gift should be received with gratitude and must therefore be recognized as a divine gift. The ignorant person, however, does not know how to appreciate it and this is the reason why he indifferently accepts what should deeply move and delight him. And a gift which is received so indifferently has little effect on the human being's soul. Therefore it remains an unsuccessful attempt to want to convey the truth to these people, for they lack the receptivity, i.e. the power of realization, which again can only be given to the demanding person. It is irrelevant on which spiritual level he stands if the divine gift of grace is offered to him; if it is only received with a hungry heart then he will soon be guided into realization, for a desiring heart opens itself to the spiritual influx and thus it can flow over unhindered, and the result is that a wealth of knowledge will be made accessible to the human being which can never be attained by earthly means. The desiring person will receive, but the indifferent person will come away empty-handed even though he is offered the same, for the desire for spiritual possessions can never be eliminated or the human being's free will would not be active. Thus the human being need only want to receive the power of realization, then he will soon be able to make a decision as long as spiritual truth is offered to him, and then he will also be grateful from the bottom of his heart that he is worthy of divine grace....
