Unification of soul and spirit through love....

You will feel the strength which God imparts to you through His word less physically and yet you will become free, for the soul's shackles will be broken as a result and it will be able to hear the voice of the spirit within itself. You should constantly struggle and ask for the grant of strength, and therefore the body will not feel it, so that the human being will not become lax in his endeavours. If he requests strength from God, he will inevitably receive it, and he who requests strength from God can never be regressive. For God will not let anyone ask in vain for a gift that will benefit the soul. If you humans receive the strength from God in the form of His word, then the spirit in you has also awakened and can make itself understood by the soul, i.e., the soul is able to receive the spirit's instructions. It is therefore already in a certain freedom and uses this freedom to unite with the spirit, which also wants to unite with it. Only when the soul is united with the spirit has it reached the degree of maturity that results in a light-filled beyond. Soul and spirit were not united at the beginning of embodiment. The soul knew nothing of the divine spark it harboured within itself. It only became aware of it through the activity of love because only then did the spirit express itself. The goal and purpose of life on earth is the unification of soul and spirit.... which can only be achieved through love. Loving activity gives strength to the soul, thus it can feel the working of the spirit.... it can receive its teachings, it grasps the wisdom imparted to it and can therefore also pass it on. All of this requires strength, which it can request from God through heartfelt prayer or acquire itself through constant labour of love, through which it likewise strives for strength from God. The spirit in a person will always motivate him to love, as he himself is a divine spark of love.... If the soul is now active in love, it unites itself intimately with the spark of love within itself, and the more intimate the union of soul and spirit is, the freer the spirit becomes, which uses the freedom to receive spiritual good from spiritual regions, which it then feeds back to the soul. And everything is strength from God.... And thus divine strength flows to the human being with every transmission of spiritual knowledge. It causes the soul and the spirit to unite and strive for the same.... union with God.... Although the bond between soul and spirit is not perceptibly realized by the human being, he also increasingly joins the spirit's desire, i.e. he does not hinder the soul if it wants to enter into union with the spirit within himself and submits to its will without resistance. For now the spirit dominates the human being's thinking, feeling and willing and his earthly life must now be an ascent to the heights....

L'unification de l'âme et de l'esprit à travers l'activité d'amour

La Force que Dieu vous transmet à travers Sa Parole, vous la sentirez peu corporellement mais malgré cela vous deviendrez libres, parce qu'avec cela les chaînes de l'âme sont cassées et celle-ci devient capable d’entendre la voix de l'esprit en elle. Vous devez continuellement lutter et demander l'apport de Force bien que le corps ne la sente pas, pour que l'homme ne cède pas à ses désirs. S'il demande la Force de Dieu, il en est immédiatement pourvu et il ne peut jamais régresser s’il demande la Force de Dieu, parce que Dieu ne laissera jamais demander en vain un homme pour un Don qui est à l'avantage de l'âme. Si à l’homme il arrive la Force de Dieu sous la forme de Sa Parole, alors l'esprit en lui est réveillé et peut se faire comprendre de l'âme, l'âme est alors capable d'accueillir les enseignements de l'esprit en elle. Elle se trouve donc déjà dans une certaine liberté et elle l'utilise pour s'unir avec l'esprit qui veut aussi s'unir avec elle. Seulement lorsque l'âme est unie avec l'esprit, elle a atteint le degré de maturité qui a pour conséquence un au-delà lumineux. Âme et esprit au début de l'incorporation n’étaient pas unis. L'âme ne savait rien de l’étincelle spirituelle qui était cachée en elle. Seulement à travers l'activité d'amour elle s'en est rendu compte, parce que seulement maintenant l'esprit s'est manifesté. L’objectif et le but de la vie terrestre est l'unification de l'âme avec l'esprit, chose qui peut être atteinte seulement à travers l'amour. L'activité d'amour procure à l'âme la Force, donc elle peut sentir l’action de l'esprit, elle peut recevoir ses enseignements, elle saisit les Sagesses qui sont transmises et elle peut même les transmettre au-delà. Tout cela nécessite la Force qui peut être demandée à Dieu à travers une intime prière ou bien être conquise par lui-même au travers d’une activité constante dans l'amour qui montre sa tendance à obtenir la Force de Dieu. L'esprit dans l'homme poussera toujours à l'amour, vu que lui-même est une étincelle de l'Amour divin. Si maintenant l'âme est active affectueusement, alors elle s'unit intimement avec l’étincelle d'Amour et plus intime est l'union de l'âme avec l’esprit, plus libre devient l'esprit qui emploie cette liberté pour recevoir le patrimoine spirituel de régions spirituelles, et maintenant il le guide de nouveau à l'âme. Et tout cela est la Force de Dieu. Ainsi cette Force divine afflue à l'homme avec chaque transmission de patrimoine spirituel. Elle fait de sorte que l'âme et l'esprit s'unissent et aspirent à la même chose, à l'unification avec Dieu. Bien que l'homme ne se rende pas perceptiblement compte du lien de l'âme avec l’esprit, c'est-à-dire que l’âme s'unit toujours plus au désir de l'esprit, il n'entrave pas l'âme et il s'adapte sans résistance à sa volonté, parce que maintenant l'esprit domine les pensées, les sentiments et la volonté de l'homme et sa voie terrestre doit être maintenant une remontée vers le Haut.
