Connections from earth to the afterlife in a state of maturity.....

There must be no confusion about the fact that only the spiritually advanced human being can establish contact with the forces in the beyond with the result that divine wisdom and unlimited knowledge will be imparted to him. If connections with the beyond are established without the necessary spiritual maturity, then such opportunities are also utilized by immature beings in the beyond, and the result is conscious and unconscious deception by evil and ignorant forces. We can only warn against such connections, for they bring neither spiritual advantage to people nor to the beings in the beyond but are a great danger to them. People may call upon good spiritual forces at any time for protection, help and also for spiritual instruction. And they will always be ready for the children of earth. But then a silent call in thought is also sufficient. But if man seeks to establish a visible connection with the expectation that the powers on the other side express themselves recognizably, then a certain spiritual maturity is precondition that now knowing powers make themselves known, and indeed the powers will express themselves, which are desired and called upon by the earth child hungry for knowledge. Spiritually immature people have no desire for the pure truth but only seek information about earthly questions, and their whole thirst for knowledge only consists of finding out as much as possible about earthly life, about the future and about earthly successes. And thus such wishes are granted by likewise earthly-minded beings in the beyond. Understandably, however, such communications cannot result in success for the soul, and therefore they would have been better omitted if they did not stimulate the human being to think about life after death and the actual task during earthly existence. Then also such connections can mean an advantage for the soul, provided that man does not immediately reject such thoughts, but they are now the cause that man goes into himself and now changes his life accordingly. Then such a carelessly established connection will also have brought blessings if the human being then seriously establishes the mental connection with the good, knowing forces, since he now believes in them and calls upon them in complete faith in their working....

Liaisons de la Terre avec l'au-delà dans l'état de maturité

Il ne doit subsister aucune confusion sur le fait que seulement l'homme avancé spirituellement puisse établir avec succès la liaison avec les Forces de l'au-delà, afin que lui soit transmis la Sagesse divine et un savoir illimité. Si des liaisons avec l'au-delà sont établies sans la maturité spirituelle nécessaire, alors de telles occasions sont exploitées par des êtres immatures de l'au-delà, et le résultat est une tromperie consciente ou inconsciente par des forces malignes et ignorantes. Il faut seulement être averti de telles liaisons, parce qu'elles n’apportent aucun avantage spirituel ni aux hommes ni aux êtres spirituels, mais sont pour ceux-ci un grand danger. Les hommes peuvent à tout instant invoquer la bonne Force spirituelle pour leur Protection, pour une prestation d'Aide et même pour un enseignement spirituel. Et celles-ci seront toujours prêtes pour les fils terrestres, car il suffit d’une invocation silencieuse en pensées. Mais si l'homme cherche à établir une liaison visible avec l'espoir que les Forces de l'au-delà se manifestent de manière perceptible, alors une certaine maturité spirituelle est nécessaire pour que maintenant des Forces sages se manifestent lorsqu’elles sont désirées et invoquées par un fils terrestre affamé de savoir. Les hommes immatures n'ont spirituellement pas le désir pour la pure Vérité, car ils cherchent seulement l'éclaircissement sur des questions terrestres, et leur désir ardent de savoir consiste seulement dans le fait d'apprendre autant que possible beaucoup sur la vie terrestre, sur l’avenir et sur des succès terrestres. Et ainsi à de tels désirs il est répondu par des êtres de l'au-delà de la même mentalité terrestre. Il est compréhensible que de telles communications ne puissent procurer aucun succès pour l'âme, et donc il aurait été mieux ne pas les chercher si elles ne stimulent pas l'homme à la réflexion sur la continuité de la vie après la mort et sur sa vraie tâche pendant l'existence terrestre. De telles liaisons peuvent cependant avoir un avantage pour l'âme à condition que l'homme ne rejette pas trop vite de telles pensées, mais que maintenant elles incitent l'homme à rentrer en lui et à changer sa vie en conséquence. Alors une telle liaison établie avec facilité a procuré une Bénédiction si l'homme établit ensuite sérieusement la liaison mentale avec les Forces bonnes et sages, vu que maintenant il croit en celles-ci et les invoque avec une très pleine foi pour qu’elles agissent.
