Correctness of thought and action in God's subordinate will....

The innermost instinct instructs the human being correctly as long as he strives to fulfil God's will. And thus he need not fear doing something wrong, for the intelligences embodied in him, the substances of his soul, instruct him to think and act. The soul must now, as it were, will as God wills, since the human will has consciously subordinated itself to the divine will. An own will that is contrary to God is then ruled out. It is impossible that a human being who wants to fulfil God's will can do something that does not correspond to the divine will, only his will must be turned towards God in all seriousness, not just thoughtlessly spoken words outwardly intended to testify to a will subordinate to God. Whoever seeks to come close to God will always endeavour to live in the divine will, and everything he does and thinks is conditioned by (in?) his now present will. The beingness in man is now determined by divine spiritual power, i.e., the spiritual outside of man seeks the connection with the spiritual in man and as it were transfers his will, which is in harmony with the divine will, to the spiritual sheltered in man. This immediately recognizes the will and obeys it without contradiction.... the human being therefore acts out of his innermost impulse, which is the working of spiritual forces from the beyond. What the human being now begins may sometimes give the impression of not being right, and yet the human being should not allow himself to be put off.... it is right, but not always immediately comprehensible to man. For insofar as he turns to God and thus establishes the right relationship with the father as His child, the father also protects him from wrong thinking and from every wrong action. He does not allow His child to go astray, He carefully guides it along the right path, even if this path still seems impassable to the child so that it fears that it has gone wrong. The human being must then prove his firm faith and deep trust in God that God can never allow something to happen which is detrimental to His creature's soul if the latter asks God for help for the sake of his soul. The heartfelt prayer 'lord, Thy will be done' is complete submission and yet at the same time the utilization of His care, for now the earthly child has completely handed over its life, its actions and thoughts to the heavenly father in the belief that it will now be cared for and guided by Him Himself. And God will not let this faith come to nothing.... And from the very beginning the human being is relieved of his responsibility, for God Himself now determines the thoughts and actions of the one who has sacrificed his free will to Him in deepest love and devotion....

하나님의 뜻 안에 하는 생각과 행동은 올바르다.

내면의 충동은, 사람들이 하나님의 뜻을 이루기 위해 노력하는 한, 사람을 올바르게 인도한다. 그러므로 그는 잘못된 일을 할 까봐 두려워할 필요가 없다. 왜냐하면 그 안에 육신을 입은 지능이, 그의 혼의 입자들이 그가 생각하고 행동하도록 지시해주기 때문이다. 혼은 이제 하나님이 원하는 대로 원해야만 한다. 왜냐하면 인간의 의지가 의식적으로 하나님의 의지에 복종했기 때문이다. 그러면 하나님을 거스르는 자신의 의지가 사라진다. 하나님의 뜻을 이루기를 원하는 사람이 하나님의 뜻에 맞지 않는 일을 할 수 있게 되는 일은 불가능하다. 단지 그의 의지가 모든 진지함으로 하나님께 향해야만 하고, 단지 생각없이 한 말로 하나님께 순복하는 의지를 증명하려고 해서는 안된다.

하나님께 가까이 가고자 하는 사람은 항상 하나님의 뜻에 따라 살려고 노력할 것이고, 그가 행하고 생각하는 모든 일은 이제 그가 가진 뜻에 따라 달라진다. 사람 안의 존재는 이제 하나님의 영의 힘에 의해 정함을 받는다. 다시 말해 사람 밖에 있는 영적인 존재가 사람 안의 영적인 존재와 연결하기 위해 노력하고, 하나님의 뜻과 조화가 된 그의 의지를 사람 안의 영적인 존재에게 전달한다. 영적인 존재는 즉시 의지를 깨닫고, 저항하지 않고 순종한다. 다시 말해 인간은 저세상의 영적인 세력의 작용인 가장 깊은 내면의 충동을 따라 행한다.

사람이 이제 시작하는 일은 때때로 옳지 않다는 인상을 줄 수 있지만, 그러나 사람은 자신을 오류에 빠지게 해서는 안 된다. 그 일은 옳은 일이다. 단지 사람들이 이를 항상 즉시 이해하지 못한다. 그가 하나님께 향하는 즉시, 즉 자녀와 아버지와 올바른 관계를 확립하는 즉시, 아버지는 또한 잘못된 생각과 모든 잘못된 행동으로부터 그를 보호한다. 아버지는 자녀가 길을 잃지 않도록 돌보면서, 비록 이 길이 아직 자녀에게 지나갈 수 없어 보이고, 자녀가 잘못된 길을 갔을 까봐 두려워할지라도, 올바른 길로 인도한다.

사람이 자신의 혼을 위해 도움을 구할 때, 사람은 하나님이 혼을 위해 자신의 피조물을 해치는 어떤 것도 허용할 수 없다는 확고한 믿음과 하나님을 향한 깊은 신뢰를 증명해야만 한다. "주님, 당신의 뜻을 이루소서" 라는 진심 어린 기도는 완전한 복종이고, 동시에 그의 보살핌을 요청하는 것이다. 왜냐하면 이 땅의 자녀는 이제 아버지 자신이 돌보고 인도한다는 믿음으로, 자신의 삶과 행동과 생각을 하늘의 아버지께 완전히 의탁하기 때문이다. 하나님은 이런 믿음이 부끄러움을 당하게 하지 않는다. 인간은 이제부터 자신의 책임으로부터 자유롭게 된다. 왜냐하면 하나님 자신이 이제 가장 깊은 사랑과 헌신으로 자신에게 자유의지를 받친 사람의 생각과 행동을 정하기 때문이다.
