Correctness of thought and action in God's subordinate will....

The innermost instinct instructs the human being correctly as long as he strives to fulfil God's will. And thus he need not fear doing something wrong, for the intelligences embodied in him, the substances of his soul, instruct him to think and act. The soul must now, as it were, will as God wills, since the human will has consciously subordinated itself to the divine will. An own will that is contrary to God is then ruled out. It is impossible that a human being who wants to fulfil God's will can do something that does not correspond to the divine will, only his will must be turned towards God in all seriousness, not just thoughtlessly spoken words outwardly intended to testify to a will subordinate to God. Whoever seeks to come close to God will always endeavour to live in the divine will, and everything he does and thinks is conditioned by (in?) his now present will. The beingness in man is now determined by divine spiritual power, i.e., the spiritual outside of man seeks the connection with the spiritual in man and as it were transfers his will, which is in harmony with the divine will, to the spiritual sheltered in man. This immediately recognizes the will and obeys it without contradiction.... the human being therefore acts out of his innermost impulse, which is the working of spiritual forces from the beyond. What the human being now begins may sometimes give the impression of not being right, and yet the human being should not allow himself to be put off.... it is right, but not always immediately comprehensible to man. For insofar as he turns to God and thus establishes the right relationship with the father as His child, the father also protects him from wrong thinking and from every wrong action. He does not allow His child to go astray, He carefully guides it along the right path, even if this path still seems impassable to the child so that it fears that it has gone wrong. The human being must then prove his firm faith and deep trust in God that God can never allow something to happen which is detrimental to His creature's soul if the latter asks God for help for the sake of his soul. The heartfelt prayer 'lord, Thy will be done' is complete submission and yet at the same time the utilization of His care, for now the earthly child has completely handed over its life, its actions and thoughts to the heavenly father in the belief that it will now be cared for and guided by Him Himself. And God will not let this faith come to nothing.... And from the very beginning the human being is relieved of his responsibility, for God Himself now determines the thoughts and actions of the one who has sacrificed his free will to Him in deepest love and devotion....

Richtigkeit des Denkens und Handelns im Gott-untergeordneten Willen....

Der innerste Trieb weiset den Menschen recht, sofern er Gottes Willen zu erfüllen trachtet. Und also braucht er nicht zu fürchten, etwas Falsches zu tun, denn es weisen ihn die in ihm verkörperten Intelligenzen, die Substanzen seiner Seele, an, zu denken und zu handeln. Es muß die Seele nun gleichsam so wollen, wie Gott es will, da der menschliche Wille sich bewußt dem göttlichen Willen unterstellt hat. Ein eigener, Gott zuwidergerichteter Wille scheidet dann aus. Es ist unmöglich, daß ein Gottes-Willen-erfüllen-wollender Mensch etwas tun kann, was dem göttlichen Willen nicht entspricht, nur muß sein Wille vollernstlich Gott zugewandt sein, nicht nur gedankenlos hingesprochene Worte nach außen den Gott-untergeordneten Willen bezeugen sollen. Wer Gott nahezukommen sucht, wird immer im göttlichen Willen zu leben sich bemühen, und alles, was er tut und denkt, ist durch (in?) seinen nunmehrigen Willen bedingt. Das Wesenhafte im Menschen wird nun bestimmt von göttlicher Geisteskraft, d.h., es sucht das Geistige außerhalb des Menschen die Verbindung mit dem Geistigen im Menschen und überträgt gleichsam seinen Willen, der mit dem göttlichen Willen im Einklang steht, auf das im Menschen sich bergende Geistige. Dieses erkennt sofort den Willen und befolgt ihn ohne Widerspruch.... es handelt der Mensch also aus innerstem Antrieb, welcher ist das Wirken jenseitiger Geisteskräfte. Was der Mensch nun beginnt, mag zwar mitunter den Eindruck hervorrufen, nicht recht zu sein, und doch soll sich der Mensch nicht beirren lassen.... es ist recht, nur nicht immer dem Menschen gleich verständlich. Denn sofern er sich Gott zuwendet und also das rechte Verhältnis zum Vater als Dessen Kind herstellt, schützet der Vater es auch vor falschem Denken und vor jedem irrigen Handeln. Er läßt Sein Kind nicht in die Irre gehen, Er führet es sorgsam den rechten Weg, auch wenn dieser Weg dem Kind noch ungangbar erscheint, so daß es fürchtet, falsch gegangen zu sein. Es muß dann der Mensch den festen Glauben und das tiefe Gottvertrauen beweisen, daß Gott nimmermehr etwas zulassen kann, was Seinem Geschöpf zum Schaden für die Seele gereichet, wenn dieses doch um seiner Seele willen Gott um Beistand bittet. Das innige Gebet "Herr, Dein Wille geschehe" ist völlige Unterwerfung und gleichzeitig doch die Inanspruchnahme Seiner Fürsorge, denn nun hat das Erdenkind sein Leben, sein Tun und Denken gänzlich dem himmlischen Vater übergeben im Glauben, nun von Ihm Selbst umsorgt und geleitet zu werden. Und diesen Glauben läßt Gott nicht zuschanden werden.... Und es ist von Stund an der Mensch seiner Verantwortung enthoben, denn Gott Selbst bestimmt nun das Denken und Handeln dessen, der Ihm in tiefster Liebe und Ergebenheit den freien Willen geopfert hat....
