The inner emptiness of those who take the wrong path....

How rarely is the importance of divine teachings recognized. It is as if people regard all supernatural activity as foolishness, and they consider serious reflection on it to be human weakness or lack of character. The divine is unacceptable to them, but conversely they are not afraid to approve of human reorganizations and support them. And they cannot be helped in any other way. All attempts to make them think fail and time is irretrievably lost for their souls. What lives on earth is meant to follow the path of higher development, and it will also cover the path as long as divine will controls the being. But as soon as the own will is active in the embodiment as man, the course of development upwards is endangered, because the being rebels. It wants to go its own way and rejects every hint, every advice from God. But without this it walks in the wrong direction, and the only possibility is therefore to illuminate this wrong path in such a way that they recognize the fate of those who fall by the wayside, who sink down exhausted and powerless because the path was endless and left no goal in sight. These are the people who go along enjoying life, but who nevertheless recognize their worthlessness and cannot find any real satisfaction in their lives.... who now go to the end of their lives listlessly and bitterly, but no longer have any purpose in life. They do not believe that life has a continuation after death, so they see no goal for themselves and live out the rest of their earthly existence in complete lethargy of spirit. They can certainly still fulfil their earthly work, but this only happens purely mechanically without them finding any meaning and purpose in it. They have given up all struggle because they do not know what they should fight for, and such people should serve as a warning example to those who have not yet finally decided to reject faith, who are therefore still faced with the decision to live life with or without God. They are to be shown the desolation of such a life, which has brought nothing but discouragement and a complete emptiness, because they lived life without God and were therefore devoid of any emanation of strength from Him and their path could therefore never lead them upwards....

Le vide intérieur de celui qui parcourt un chemin erroné

Combien rarement est reconnue l'importance des Instructions divines ! C’est comme si les hommes considéraient chaque Action extra-terrestre comme une sottise, et considéraient toute réflexion sérieuse sur cela comme une faiblesse humaine ou bien un manque de caractère. Pour eux le Divin n’est pas acceptable, mais ils ne craignent pas d'approuver de nouvelles doctrines humaines et de les soutenir. Mais ils ne peuvent pas s'en approcher d’une autre manière. Toutes les tentatives pour les inciter à la réflexion échouent et pour leurs âmes le temps est perdu d’une manière irrécupérable. Ce qui vit sur la Terre, doit parcourir le chemin du développement vers le Haut, et le parcourt durera jusqu'à ce que Volonté divine domine l'être. Mais lorsque sa volonté est active dans l'incarnation en tant qu’homme, le parcours de développement vers le Haut présente le risque que l'être se rebelle. Il veut obstinément parcourir sa voie et refuse toute Indication, tout Conseil de Dieu. Mais sans ce conseil il marche dans une direction fausse, et donc l'unique possibilité est d'éclairer cette fausse voie de sorte qu’il reconnaisse le destin de ceux qui restent en panne, qui s’affaiblissent et qui tombent à bout de force, parce que la voie était sans fin et ne laissait entrevoir aucun but. Ceux-ci sont des hommes qui marchent dans la jouissance de la vie, mais qui reconnaissent leur inutilité et ne peuvent trouver aucune vraie satisfaction de leur vie, et maintenant ils terminent attristés leur vie car ils n'ont plus aucun motif de vivre. Ils ne croient pas que la vie puisse continuer après la mort, donc ils ne voient aucun but et vivent le reste de leur existence terrestre dans la totale léthargie de l'esprit. Ils peuvent certes encore effectuer leur travail terrestre, mais cela se produit seulement d’une manière purement mécanique, sans qu'ils en perçoivent le sens et le but. Ils ont renoncé à toute lutte parce qu'ils ne savent pas pourquoi ils doivent combattre, et de tels hommes doivent servir d'exemple réprobateur pour ceux qui ne se sont pas encore décidés définitivement à refuser la foi, et qui donc se trouvent encore devant la décision de mener la vie avec ou sans Dieu. À ceux-ci il doit être tenu devant les yeux le caractère désespérant d'une telle vie qui n'a rien apporté à l'homme sinon l’abattement et un vide total, parce qu'ils ont vécu la vie sans Dieu et donc ils ont été privés de Son Rayonnement et de Sa Force et donc ils n’ont jamais pu être guidés vers le haut.
