The inner emptiness of those who take the wrong path....

How rarely is the importance of divine teachings recognized. It is as if people regard all supernatural activity as foolishness, and they consider serious reflection on it to be human weakness or lack of character. The divine is unacceptable to them, but conversely they are not afraid to approve of human reorganizations and support them. And they cannot be helped in any other way. All attempts to make them think fail and time is irretrievably lost for their souls. What lives on earth is meant to follow the path of higher development, and it will also cover the path as long as divine will controls the being. But as soon as the own will is active in the embodiment as man, the course of development upwards is endangered, because the being rebels. It wants to go its own way and rejects every hint, every advice from God. But without this it walks in the wrong direction, and the only possibility is therefore to illuminate this wrong path in such a way that they recognize the fate of those who fall by the wayside, who sink down exhausted and powerless because the path was endless and left no goal in sight. These are the people who go along enjoying life, but who nevertheless recognize their worthlessness and cannot find any real satisfaction in their lives.... who now go to the end of their lives listlessly and bitterly, but no longer have any purpose in life. They do not believe that life has a continuation after death, so they see no goal for themselves and live out the rest of their earthly existence in complete lethargy of spirit. They can certainly still fulfil their earthly work, but this only happens purely mechanically without them finding any meaning and purpose in it. They have given up all struggle because they do not know what they should fight for, and such people should serve as a warning example to those who have not yet finally decided to reject faith, who are therefore still faced with the decision to live life with or without God. They are to be shown the desolation of such a life, which has brought nothing but discouragement and a complete emptiness, because they lived life without God and were therefore devoid of any emanation of strength from Him and their path could therefore never lead them upwards....

Innerliche Leere dessen, der den falschen Weg geht....

Wie selten wird die Wichtigkeit göttlicher Unterweisungen erkannt. Es ist, als ob die Menschen jegliches überirdische Wirken als Narretei betrachten, und ernsthaftes Darüber-Nachdenken halten sie für menschliche Schwäche oder Charakterlosigkeit. Das Göttliche ist ihnen unannehmbar, umgekehrt aber scheuen sie sich nicht, menschliche Neuordnungen gutzuheißen und sie zu unterstützen. Und es ist ihnen in anderer Weise nicht beizukommen. Alle Versuche, sie zum Nachdenken zu bewegen, schlagen fehl, und es ist die Zeit unwiederbringlich verloren für ihre Seelen. Was lebt auf der Erde, soll den Gang der Höherentwicklung gehen, und es legt auch den Weg zurück, solange der göttliche Wille das Wesen beherrscht. So aber der eigene Wille tätig ist in der Verkörperung als Mensch, ist der Entwicklungsgang zur Höhe gefährdet, denn es lehnt sich das Wesen auf. Es will eigenmächtig seinen Gang gehen und lehnt jeden Hinweis, jeden Ratschlag Gottes ab. Ohne diesen aber wandelt es in falscher Richtung, und die einzige Möglichkeit ist daher, diesen falschen Weg so zu erleuchten, daß sie das Schicksal jener erkennen, die am Weg liegenbleiben, die ermattet und kraftlos niedersinken, weil der Weg endlos war und kein Ziel erblicken ließ. Es sind dies die Menschen, die wohl im Lebensgenuß dahingehen, die aber doch ihren Unwert erkennen und keine rechte Befriedigung ihres Lebens finden können.... die nun lustlos und verbittert ihren Lebensweg zu Ende gehen, jedoch keinen Lebensinhalt mehr haben. Sie glauben nicht daran, daß das Leben nach dem Tode eine Fortsetzung haben soll, sie ersehen sich also kein Ziel und leben den Rest ihres Erdendaseins in völliger Lethargie des Geistes dahin. Sie können wohl irdisch noch ihrer Arbeit nachkommen, doch es geschieht dies nur rein mechanisch, ohne daß sie einen Sinn und Zweck dabei finden. Sie haben jeglichen Kampf aufgegeben, weil sie nicht wissen, wofür sie kämpfen sollen, und es sollen solche Menschen denen als warnendes Beispiel dienen, die sich noch nicht endgültig zum Ablehnen des Glaubens entschlossen haben, die also noch vor der Entscheidung stehen, das Leben mit oder ohne Gott zu führen. Denen soll das Trostlose eines solchen Lebens vorgehalten werden, das dem Menschen nichts gebracht hat als Entmutigung und eine völlige Leere, weil sie das Leben ohne Gott lebten und daher bar waren jeglicher Kraftausstrahlung von Ihm und ihr Weg sie daher nie zur Höhe führen konnte....
