Erlösungsperiode geht dem Ende entgegen....

In immer größere Not wird die Menschheit geraten, weil die Zeit drängt, die dem Geistigen zur Erlösung gegeben ist. Es muß ein beschleunigter Entwicklungsprozeß möglich sein, der durch übergroßes Leid und Elend gefördert wird. Die Zeit geht ihrem Ende entgegen, und es sind noch unzählige Menschen, die keinerlei geistiges Streben haben und daher völlig nutzlos durch das Erdenleben gehen. Sie müssen gewissermaßen gedrängt werden durch die äußeren Verhältnisse, ernsthaft über das Erdenleben nachzudenken, was sie niemals tun würden, wenn das Leben in Einförmigkeit und ohne Leid und Not an ihnen vorübergeht. Solange sie nicht Fühlung nehmen mit der geistigen Welt durch inniges Gebet, durch Anfordern geistiger Kraft, ist der geistige Erfolg ihrer Verkörperung auf Erden anzuzweifeln, oder es müßte das Erdenleben nur ein fortgesetztes Liebeswirken sein, dann aber steht der Mensch auch unbewußt in Verbindung mit der geistigen Welt. Die Zeit der Erlösung des Geistigen geht ihrem Ende entgegen.... Was das bedeutet, kann der Mensch nicht fassen, und dennoch soll er davon in Kenntnis gesetzt werden, auf daß er die Ursache und den Zweck der großen Not begreife, die Gott über die Erde kommen läßt. Unendlich lange Zeit hat diese Erlösungsperiode umfaßt, und immer wieder wurde dem Geistigen Möglichkeit geboten, sich zur Höhe zu entwickeln. Doch Gottes Weisheit setzte dieser Erlösungsperiode auch eine Grenze, erhöht aber auch die Zahl und Art der Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten, auf daß das noch unreife Geistige zur letzten Reife kommen kann, bevor die Erlösungsperiode beendet ist. Und sowie sich das Geistige nicht sträubt, kann es die letzte Stufe der Entwicklung erreichen. Doch der Wille dieses Geistigen ist schwach, und er versagt, so er nicht beeinflußt wird in einer Weise, die ihn zum eigenen Entscheid drängt. Einen solchen Einfluß soll das Erdenleid auf das Geistige ausüben, und darum läßt Gott diese letzte Möglichkeit nicht unversucht, um dem Geistigen zu helfen, das ohne solches die Verkörperung als Mensch nicht nützet. Das Erdenleben geht vorüber, mit ihr aber auch die Möglichkeit, daß sich das Geistige im Menschen befreit. Auf Erden kann es dies noch aus eigener Kraft; sowie das Erdenleben aber beendet ist, mangelt es dem Geistigen, der Seele, an Kraft, und es ist diese in größter Gefahr, sich rückschrittlich zu entwickeln, was Ewigkeiten erneuten Gebundenseins zur Folge hat. Das größte Leid auf Erden ist dagegen gering zu nennen, und deshalb sollen es die Menschen auf sich nehmen, weil es die einzige Möglichkeit ist, der Seele die Qualen des Jenseits zu ersparen, die weit größer sind und Ewigkeiten andauern, weil es im Jenseits schwerer ist, die geistige Freiheit zu erlangen. Denn dies ist gewiß.... es kommt nichts über die Menschheit, was nicht in Gottes Liebe begründet ist und Gottes Weisheit zur Voraussetzung hat.... Und darum muß auch das kommende übergroße Leid betrachtet werden als ein Liebesbeweis Gottes.... als ein letztes Mittel zur Erlösung des Geistigen, das in Gefahr ist, sich gänzlich zu verlieren....

Redemption period comes to an end....

Humanity will experience ever greater hardship because the time given to the spiritual for redemption is pressing. An accelerated process of development must be possible, which is promoted by excessive suffering and misery. Time is drawing to a close and there are still countless people who have no spiritual aspirations whatsoever and therefore pass through earthly life completely uselessly. To a certain extent they must be urged by external circumstances to think seriously about earthly life, which they would never do if life passed them by in monotony and without suffering and hardship. As long as they do not make contact with the spiritual world through heartfelt prayer, through requesting spiritual strength, the spiritual success of their embodiment on earth is to be doubted, or earthly life would only have to be a continued labour of love, but then the human being is also unconsciously in contact with the spiritual world. The time of redemption of the spiritual is coming to an end.... Man cannot grasp what this means and yet he should be informed of it so that he understands the cause and purpose of the great adversity which God allows to come upon earth. This period of redemption has spanned an infinitely long time and time and again the spiritual was offered the opportunity to develop upwards. But God's wisdom also set a limit to this redemption period, but also increases the number and kind of development possibilities so that the still immature spiritual can come to final maturity before the redemption period has ended. And as long as the spiritual does not resist it can reach the last stage of development. But the will of this spiritual is weak and it fails if it is not influenced in a way that urges it to make its own decision. Earthly suffering is supposed to exert such an influence on the spiritual, and that is why God does not leave this last possibility untried in order to help the spiritual, which without such does not use the embodiment as man. Earth life passes, but with it also the possibility that the spiritual in man liberates itself. On earth it can still do this out of its own strength; but as soon as earthly life is over the spiritual, the soul, lacks strength and is in greatest danger to develop regressively, which results in eternities of being bound again. The greatest suffering on earth, on the other hand, can be called little, and therefore people should take it upon themselves because it is the only way to spare the soul the torments of the beyond, which are far greater and last for eternities, because it is more difficult to attain spiritual freedom in the beyond. For this is certain.... nothing comes upon humanity which is not founded in God's love and has God's wisdom as a prerequisite.... And that is why the coming immense suffering must also be regarded as a proof of God's love.... as a final means for the redemption of the spiritual, which is in danger of losing itself completely....
