Erklärung zu Buch 17 Nr. 0814.... Wirkungen des Streites für die Seele....

Es fordern die Menschen Gerechtigkeit und haben selbst nicht den rechten Maßstab für ihr eigenes Tun und Handeln, und wenn ein jeder Mensch willig wäre, dem Gerechtigkeitsgefühl Rechnung zu tragen, so wäre bald aller Streit und Hader aus der Welt geschafft, oft aber hält sich der Mensch eher berechtigt, für sich alle Rücksichtnahme zu fordern, dem Mitmenschen diese aber abzusprechen, und so fordert letzteres den Unwillen des Mitmenschen heraus, und es wird der Friede erheblich gestört. Und das hat wieder zur Folge, daß sich die Menschen befeinden, daß sie die Liebe in sich verringern und eine Mauer zwischen sich aufbauen, und es wird ein solcher Zustand nimmer zur Förderung der Seele beitragen, vielmehr wird diese in eine Art Stillstand gezwungen, sie verliert sich in Gedanken, die völlig unnütze und wertlos sind, und bringt somit die Seele um kostbare Zeit der Arbeit, die ihrer Förderung dienlich wäre. Wenn ihr Menschen euch so die Auswirkung eines Streites vor Augen haltet, so wird es euer ernstes Streben sein müssen, allen solchen Feindseligkeiten aus dem Wege zu gehen und lieber ein Unrecht auf euch zu nehmen, als der Seele weit größeren Schaden zuzufügen, indem ihr bemüht seid, einen Streit auszutragen. Ihr verwendet eure Willenskraft auf gänzlich unwichtige Fragen und deren Lösung und bedenket nicht, daß ihr auch von einem für euch günstigen Ausgang eines Streites nicht den geringsten Vorteil für die Seele zieht, und das sollte euch stets davor zurückhalten, Debatten zu führen über nutzlose Dinge, tragen sie euch doch nur schädliche Wirkungen für die Seele ein. Alles Regeln solcher Fragen Gott überlassen ist weit vernünftiger und führt zu weit größerem Erfolg.

(Und nun horche auf die Stimme des Herzens und nimm eine nähere Erklärung auf über die dir unverständliche Mitteilung, die das gedankliche Beeinflussen des gebannten Geistigen in der Schöpfung betrifft.... Wie es dir ersichtlich und verständlich ist, dient die Schöpfung, d.h. alles, was dir sichtbar ist, doch lediglich dem Zweck, dem Geistigen Aufenthalt zu gewähren, und es ist also ein jedes Ding geistig belebt. Dies gilt für alles, was dir sichtbar ist. So nun der Geistträger dem menschlichen Gestaltungswillen ausgesetzt ist.... also alle Materie, die sozusagen als Material dem Menschen wieder dient, um in seiner Hand umgeformt zu werden.... hat nun seinerseits der Mensch die Möglichkeit, auch auf die geistige Kraft, die der Materie innewohnt, einzuwirken.... und er kann sozusagen diese geistige Kraft so beeinflussen, daß sie rascher ihren Entwicklungsgang beenden und ebendiese Form verlassen kann. Es muß also das Bestreben des Menschen sein, in aller Materie das gebannte Geistige zu erkennen, diesem Geistigen beizustehen und möglichst dafür Sorge zu tragen, daß eine dauernde Veränderung und Verwertung der Materie alles Geistige in sich frei werden läßt.... daß gleichsam der Mensch dazu beiträgt, die Lebensdauer der Materie in unveränderter Form zu verkürzen.... es muß ihm klarwerden, daß ja nichts im Weltall seine Form auf lange Zeit behält und daß ein dauernder Wechsel der Außenform der geistigen Wesenheit zum Aufstieg verhilft. Wer in diesem Sinn alles betrachtet und seinerseits hilfsbereit ist, indem er in allen Schöpfungswerken Hüllen geistiger Substanz erblickt und also selbst tätig ist, um diese Hülle dauernd umzuformen, und dies in vollem Bewußtsein, den geistigen Wesenheiten beizustehen, dessen Aufgabe wird dadurch erst richtig erfüllt, ist er doch nicht nur für sich und sein geistiges Wohl tätig, sondern gleichzeitig für die hilflosen, sich selbst noch nicht bewußt befreien könnenden Wesenheiten, deren Weg dann erheblich verkürzt wird. Denn so der Mensch glaubt, daß alle Schöpfung Geistträger ist und bleibt, so wird er auch darüber klar sein, daß er, als gleichfalls Geistträger, eine Verbindung finden muß mit der geistigen Wesenheit, indem er die Außenform einer öfteren Veränderung unterzieht und alles, was unter den Händen des Menschen entsteht, gleichsam von Gottes Willen zugelassen ist immer zur Bildung einer neuen Außenform, die wieder die geistige Substanz in sich aufzunehmen berechtigt ist. Nur der Wille des Menschen wird hierzu benötigt. Und nur der Glaube, daß alle Schöpfung geistig belebt ist, sowie alles Liebesbestreben, das dem Freiwerden der geistigen Substanz gilt, ist für diese Wesen ein Hilfsfaktor, der nicht hoch genug bewertet werden kann. Und jedes Werk, das ihr in diesem Bewußtsein in Angriff nehmt, wird auch den Segen Gottes in sich tragen; denn es sind alle Seine geistigen Mitarbeiter, die für die Erlösung der Wesen tätig sind, sowohl auf Erden wie auch im Jenseits.... )

Explanation to book 17 No. 0814.... effects of strife for the soul....

People demand justice and don't have the right standard for their own actions, and if every person were willing to take the feeling of justice into account all disputes and quarrels would soon be resolved, but people often consider themselves more entitled to demand consideration for themselves but to deny it to their fellow human beings, and thus the latter provokes their fellow human being's displeasure and peace is considerably disturbed. And this results in people becoming hostile towards each other again, that they reduce the love within themselves and build a wall between themselves, and such a state will never contribute to the soul's advancement, rather, it will be forced into a kind of standstill, it will lose itself in thoughts which are completely useless and worthless and thus deprive the soul of precious time of work which would be conducive to its advancement. When you humans thus consider the effect of an argument, it will have to be your serious endeavour to avoid all such hostilities and rather take an injustice upon yourselves than cause far greater harm to the soul by endeavouring to settle a dispute. You use your willpower on completely unimportant questions and their solution and don't consider that you don't derive the slightest advantage for the soul from a favourable outcome of an argument either, and this should always prevent you from debating useless matters, after all, they only cause harmful effects for the soul. To leave all rules of such questions to God is far more reasonable and leads to far greater success.

(And now listen to the voice of the heart and take up a closer explanation about the communication incomprehensible to you, which concerns the mental influencing of the banished spiritual in creation.... As it is obvious and understandable to you, the creation, i.e. everything visible to you, nevertheless only serves the purpose of granting stay to the spiritual, and thus every thing is spiritually enlivened. This applies to everything that is visible to you. So now the spirit bearer is exposed to the human will to shape.... thus all matter, which so to speak serves the human being again as material to be reshaped in his hand.... the human being for his part now has the possibility to also influence the spiritual power, which is inherent in matter.... and he can so to speak influence this spiritual power so that it can finish its course of development more quickly and leave this very form. Hence it must be the human being's endeavour to recognize the banished spiritual in all matter, to assist this spiritual and, if possible, to ensure that a permanent change and utilization of matter releases all spiritual within it.... that the human being, as it were, contributes to shortening the lifespan of matter in unchanged form.... that he must realize that nothing in the universe retains its form for a long time and that a constant change of external form helps the spiritual entity to ascend. Anyone who looks at everything in this sense and is willing to help by seeing shells of spiritual substance in all works of creation and is therefore active himself in order to permanently reshape these shells, and this in full awareness of assisting the spiritual entities, his task is only thereby properly fulfilled, after all, he is not only active for himself and his spiritual well-being but at the same time for the helpless entities which are not yet able to liberate themselves consciously, whose path is then considerably shortened. For if the human being believes that all creation is and remains a spirit bearer, he will also be aware of the fact that he, as a likewise spirit bearer, must find a connection with the spiritual entity by subjecting the external form to frequent change and that everything which comes into being under the human being's hands is, as it were, always permitted by God's will to form a new external form which is again entitled to receive the spiritual substance within itself. Only the will of man is needed for this. And only the belief that all creation is spiritually enlivened, as well as all striving for love which is meant for the release of spiritual substance, is an auxiliary factor for these beings which cannot be valued highly enough. And every work you tackle in this awareness will also carry God's blessing within it; for all His spiritual co-workers are active for the beings' redemption, both on earth as well as in the beyond....
