진리를 받기 위한 조건은 이성에서 나온 지식을 버리는 것이다.

올바른 진리를 체험하려는 의지 만이 그가 올바른 진리를 소유하는데 결정적이다. 그러나 그 자신이 진리에 저항을 하는 동안 그가 자신이 가진 진리라는 증명이 되지 않은 지식을 버릴 자세가 되어 있지 않는 동안 그는 자신이 순수한 진리를 받아들일 수 없게 한다.

왜냐면 진리는 오류와 함께 있을 수 없기 때문에 진리를 받기 위해 전적으로 빈 그릇이 필요하기 때문이다. 그러므로 사람의 심장이 이미 그가 이성을 통해 얻은 또는 출처를 점검하지 않고 받아들인 영적인 내용으로 채워져 있으면, 그에게 지식을 전하는 일이 어렵다.

그럴지라도 선한 의지를 가지고 있기 때문에 그의 이성과 대화를 시도할 수 있는 사람들에게 순수한 진리를 전해주려는 시도를 할 수 있고 시도해야 한다. 왜냐면 나는 모든 사람이 오류로부터 자유롭게 되게 돕기를 원하기 때문이다. 그러나 이 일은 강제적으로 일어날 수 없고 자신에게 제공되는 영적인 내용을 저항하지 않고 받으려는 사람의 자유의지를 요구한다.

그러면 그가 이를 영접할지 또는 거절할지는 그의 자유이다. 나는 이 땅이 단지 약한 빛만 비치고 있는 어두운 영역이라는 것을 행복하게 느끼기 위해 이런 빛이 비치는 영역에 거해야만 함을 항상 또 다시 강조한다. 그러나 얼마나 많은 사람들이 올바른 생각 가운데 거하고 있다고 믿느냐?

그들은 이제 그들 자신의 생각의 내용을 이웃에게 주장하고 이로써 항상 더욱 사람들 가운데 많은 오류가 퍼지게 한다. 그러나 모든 사람은 오류를 범할 수 있다. 그러므로 이런 확실함이 항상 자신의 이성의 날카로움을 의심해야 한다. 왜냐면 이런 모든 의심은 축복되게 역사하기 때문이다.

그러면 전적으로 확신을 가진 사람은 순수한 진리에 자신을 닫기 때문에 그에게는 불가능한 깨우침을 받을 수 있는 가능성이 있기 때문이다. 많은 서로 다른 영적인 방향이 있다는 것이 이를 주장하는 사람들이 자신이 옳다는 증거를 제시할 수 없다는 것이 그러나 한 진리가 있어야만 하고 이 진리는 단지 영원한 진리 자신으로부터 받을 수 있음이 이미 사람들로 하여금 생각하게 해야 한다.

이제 진리를 향한 직접적인 길을 가는 사람은 진리에 도달한다는 보장을 받을 것이다. 위로부터 한 사람에게 지식이 직접 전해지면, 다시 말해 영원한 아버지의 영이 사람 안의 영의 불씨에게 지식을 전하면, 그러면 이런 지식에 반론하는 증거를 제시할 수 없고 진리를 갈망하는 사람의 이성이 이 지식에 반론을 펼 수 없다.

왜냐면 이 지식이 모든 것의 근거를 제시해주고 빛을 비추어 주고 어두움이 더 이상 거할 수 없게 하기 때문이다. 그러나 항상 진리를 올바르게 깨닫는 일은 스스로 이성을 통해 얻은 영적인 내용으로부터 자신을 자유롭게 만드는 일을 요구한다. 왜냐면 하나님 자신에게 진리를 구하지 않는 동안에는 하나님의 대적자가 역사할 수 있기 때문이다.

하나님의 대적자가 첫 번째로 하는 역사는 항상 사람들의 생각에 혼돈을 주는 것이다. 왜냐면 그가 단지 어두움 안에서 들키지 않고 머물 수 있기 때문에 모든 진리에 대항해 싸우기 때문이다. 그러므로 너희 사람들이 얼마나 진리 안에 거하느냐는 너희 자신에게 달려있다. 너희에게 모든 것이 제공될 것이다.

너희 스스로 무엇을 영접할지 무엇을 거절할지 결정해야만 한다. 너희가 더 이상 자신의 생각으로 판단을 하지 않고 하나님이 너희에게 올바른 깨달음을 주시게 너희의 생각을 그 아래에 둘 때에 단지 올바른 결정을 알 수 있다. 이런 기도는 진리 안에서 영 안에서 드려져야만 한다.

너희가 모아둔 영적인 내용을 버리려는 자세가 되어 있지 않는 한 너희는 너희가 진리를 사랑하거나 진리를 갈망한다고 말해서는 안 된다. 왜냐면 단지 영원한 진리 자신만이 너희에게 전적으로 진리에 합당한 영적인 내용을 전해주기 때문이다. 너희가 이 전에 작은 쌀알 같은 진리라도 가지고 있으면 진리는 너희에게 확실하게 남아 있거나 또는 너희에게 다시 돌려줄 것이다.

그러나 신적이고 영적인 생각에 내용을 받아들이기 위해 너희 심장을 비우려는 자세는 상급을 받게 해줄 것이다. 이 상급은 영원한 진리 자신인 진리 외에는 다른 어떤 것도 너희에게 전할 수 없는 영이 너희 안으로 흘러 들어가게 해주는 것이다. 그러나 누가 이런 가르침을 영접하느냐? 누가 상급을 얻기 위해 요구되는 일을 행하느냐?

모든 사람이 스스로를 지혜롭고 현명하다고 생각하고 이 가운데 가장 큰 오류를 진리로 대변하고 있다. 그는 이를 쉽게 믿고 영접하는 이웃에게 전하려고 시도한다. 어두움은 더욱 강할 것이다. 그리고 반짝이는 빛의 불씨를 깨닫지 못한다. 빛을 갈망하는 사람은 빛을 향해 추구해야만 한다.

진리를 갈망하는 사람은 영원한 진리를 향해 추구해야만 한다. 그러면 그에게 주어지지 않게 되지 않을 것이다. 그러면 영원한 진리 자신이 이 땅이 빛을 비추어주어서 그와 연결을 시킨, 하나님을 단지 그 만이 진리를 전달해줄 수 있고 전달해 줄 존재로 인정하는 사람들의 심장을 일깨워 그들이 진리의 빛 가운데 사람들 자신을 한때 생성되게 한 분에게 인도하는 올바른 길을 깨닫게 된다.

Condition for receiving truth: to give up knowledge of mind....

The will to know the real truth is the only decisive factor as to whether the human being comes into possession of it. But as long as he resists it himself, as long as he is not willing to give up his existing knowledge, of which it is not proven to him whether it is pure truth, he makes himself unfit to receive pure truth, for this requires a completely empty vessel, because truth cannot exist next to error. It is therefore difficult to convey knowledge to a person whose heart is already filled with spiritual knowledge which he has gained intellectually or which he accepted without examining its origin. Nevertheless, the attempt can and should be made to also convey the pure truth to those who can also appeal to the intellect if the person is of good will. For I want to help everyone to become free from error, which, however, cannot happen compulsorily but requires the human being's free will insofar as that he takes notice of the spiritual knowledge offered to him without resistance. Then it is up to him what he wants to accept or reject from it.... Time and again I emphasize that the earth is a dark area which is only illuminated by weak rays of light, and that people themselves have to move into the area of these rays of light in order to feel them beneficially.... Yet how many people believe themselves to be in right thinking, and they now represent their own thought system to fellow human beings and thus carry ever more error amongst people.... Yet every human being can err, and this certainty should therefore also always give rise to doubts about one's own intellectual acuity, for every such doubt has a beneficial effect, because then there is still the possibility of being able to be enlightened, which is no longer possible towards a fully convinced person, for he closes himself off to the pure truth. This alone should make people think about the fact that there are so many different schools of thought which deviate from each other that no representative of these can provide evidence for the correctness of them.... but that there must be one truth.... and that this can only be received from the eternal truth itself..... And whoever takes the path directly to it is also guaranteed to arrive at the truth. If a person receives knowledge directly from above.... i.e. that it is imparted to the spiritual spark in the human being by the eternal father-spirit.... then no counter-evidence can be produced for this knowledge, and the truth-desiring person's intellect will not be able to oppose it either, because everything is justified in such a way that it gives light and no longer allows darkness to exist. However, the correct recognition of truth always requires 'freeing oneself' from intellectually gained spiritual knowledge, because God's adversary can work as long as God Himself has not been approached for the truth, and the former's activity always consists of confusing the human being's thinking because he fights against all truth, since he only remains unrecognized in darkness.... And thus it is up to you humans yourselves how far you move in truth. Everything is offered to you and you yourselves have to decide what you want to accept or reject.... And the right decision can only be made when you no longer think and judge on your own authority but entrust your thinking to God so that He will guide you into the right realization. And this request must be made in spirit and in truth, you may not pretend to be truth-loving or truth-desiring as long as you are not willing to surrender what you have acquired in spiritual knowledge..... For only the eternal truth itself lets you receive spiritual knowledge which completely corresponds to the truth, and if you already possess a few grains of truth beforehand, these will certainly remain with you or be returned to you.... But your willingness to empty your hearts to receive divine-spiritual thought material will be rewarded by the eternal truth itself letting the spirit flow into you, which can convey nothing but pure truth to you.... But who also accepts those teachings?.... Who does what he is asked to do?.... Each one thinks himself wise and prudent and sometimes represents the greatest error as truth.... And he tries to transfer this to his fellow human beings who gullibly accept his knowledge again. And the darkness grows ever stronger and even the flashing sparks of light are not noticed, for anyone who desires light must strive towards the light.... Anyone who desires truth must strive towards the eternal truth, then it will not be denied to him, then the eternal light itself will shine down to earth and illuminate the human being's heart who has established the bond with Him, who acknowledges God as the being Which alone can distribute the truth and Who will also do so, so that light will shine on earth and people will recognize the right path in the light of truth which leads to Him, from Whom the human being Himself once originated....
