L’attività spirituale è più importante che l’attività terrena

Nulla vi sostituirà la ricchezza spirituale quando lasciate questa vita terrena e perciò non preoccupatevi troppo di quella terrena, ma pensate sempre soltanto alla formazione della vostra anima. L’attività terrena deve bensì essere eseguita coscienziosamente, ma dove all’uomo è posto un compito spirituale, questa precede l’attività terrena. Non esiste nulla che fosse più urgente che la preoccupazione per le anime dei prossimi e l’attività terrena è sovente solo un mezzo allo scopo di guidare delle anime che si trovano in miseria nella Vicinanza di Colui il Quale può e vuole aiutare, se al Suo Aiuto non viene opposta nessuna resistenza. L’attività terrena non dev’essere per nulla un impedimento di esercitare la provvidenza, dove questa è necessaria, perché innumerevoli uomini sono pronti per la prima, ma solo pochi si rivolgono ad una tale attività che è per la salvezza dell’anima del prossimo. Ricordate in quale miseria si trovano attualmente le anime sulla Terra e riconoscete anche l’urgenza del vostro agire, perché Dio Stesso vuole agire attraverso voi e vi dovete mettere a Sua disposizione credenti e senza barriere, dovete sempre essere pronti per Lui se Egli ha bisogno di voi e non dovete crearvi problemi di trascurare da ciò il compito terreno, perché l’anima è più importante del corpo ed il lavoro che è rivolto a lei, sarà sempre benedetto da Dio.

Spiritual activity more important than earthly activity....

Nothing will replace your spiritual wealth when you leave this earthly life, and therefore do not worry so much about earthly things but always remember the shaping of your soul. Earthly activity should certainly be carried out conscientiously, but where a person is given a spiritual task, this takes precedence over earthly activity. There is nothing more urgent than caring for the souls of fellow human beings, and earthly activity is often only a means to an end in order to bring souls in need close to the one Who can and wants to help if His help is not resisted. Earthly activity must by no means be an obstacle to the exercise of care where this is necessary, for countless people are willing to do the former, but few turn to such an activity which is beneficial for the soul of their fellow human being. Think of the hardship the souls on earth are currently experiencing and also recognize the necessity of your activity, for God Himself wants to work through you and you should place yourselves at His disposal faithfully and unreservedly.... You should always be ready for Him if He needs you, and you should not worry that you are neglecting your earthly task as a result.... For the soul is more important than the body, and the work it does will always be blessed by God....
