La relación del hombre con Dios como la del hijo con el Padre...

La relación del hombre con Dios debe ser la misma que la del hijo con el Padre. Entonces el amor infantil es la fuerza impulsora para hacer lo que el Padre pide, y entonces el padre también puede considerar a Su hijo como lo hace un Padre amoroso. El hijo debe acudir al Padre con la más firme confianza y contarle sus necesidades con la firme confianza de que será ayudado, porque un buen Padre no deja a su hijo en la necesidad y la miseria y siempre está dispuesto a ayudar. Esta intimidad con Dios presupone la fe en un ser amoroso Que tiene el poder de apartar al hombre todo mal, y Dios bendice esa fe al no dejar incumplida la oración que Le es enviada con tal fe.

Cuanto más íntima es la devoción del hijo por su Padre, tanto más amorosamente el Padre cuida del hijo, porque el ser humano ha establecido ahora la relación original por su propia voluntad; ha cumplido el propósito de su vida terrenal al salvar la separación de Dios, como el Espíritu original del Que surgió y, por la gracia de Dios, se pone a sí mismo en un estado que le otorga la unión con Dios tan pronto como deja la vida en la tierra. Y esto sólo puede lograrse a través del reconocimiento consciente y la sumisión voluntaria a un poder que se inclina hacia las personas de la tierra en el amor paterno. La relación del hijo con el Padre debe establecerse porque esta era la relación original en la que el ser que emergía de Dios era libre e inimaginablemente feliz...

Relationship of man to God as of child to father....

The relationship between man and God should be the same as the relationship between a child and its father. Then the child's love is the driving force to do what the father asks, and then the father can also consider his child as a loving father does. The child should come to the father in the most faithful trust and present his needs to him in the firm confidence that he will be helped, because a good father does not leave his child in need and misery and is always ready to help. This intimate relationship with God presupposes faith in a loving being, in Whose power it lies to avert all evil from man, and God blesses such faith by not leaving unfulfilled the prayer that is sent to Him in such faith. The more heartfelt the child's devotion to His father is, the more lovingly the father will take care of the child, for the human being has now established the original relationship of his own accord, of his own free will; he has fulfilled the purpose of earthly life by bridging the separation from God, as the original spirit from which he emerged, and by God's grace he has placed himself into a state which will result in his union with God as soon as he leaves earthly life. And this can only be achieved by consciously recognizing and voluntarily submitting to a power Which inclines Itself towards earthly people in fatherly love. The relationship between child and father must be established because this was the original relationship in which the being that emerged from God was free and unimaginably happy....
