Oración por las almas en el más allá que no han adquirido amor en la Tierra

La terrible experiencia de un alma no redimido no se puede describir a los humanos y, sin embargo, deben saber que es un estado inimaginablemente desolador lo que tienen que soportar, y este conocimiento debe motivar a los humanos a ayudar a esas almas, y es por eso que siempre se les vuelve a abordar el recordatorio de no olvidar a estas almas. Agradecen mil veces a las personas que les ayudan en su tormento rezando por ellas.

Las almas en el más allá que, cuando parten de la Tierra, dejan atrás a personas con las que estaban conectadas en amor, tienen una ventaja sobre aquellas que no adquirieron amor en la Tierra. A las primeras le siguen pensamientos amorosos y deseos piadosos o mediante la oración sincera por esas almas obtienen fuerza y, como resultado, su situación puede mejorar considerablemente. Cada pensamiento de amor es sentido beneficiosamente por las almas y despierta nuevamente el amor, que ahora se expresa hacia las almas que también están sufriendo.

Pero aquellas almas que han vivido en la Tierra sin amor deben sufrir y morir de hambre indescriptiblemente. Uno se olvida de ellas rápidamente o sólo se piensa en ellos de forma descuidada, lo que tiene un efecto terrible en su estado en el más allá. Cado buen pensamiento de las personas en la Tierra hacia las almas en el más allá alivia su tormento, cada mal pensamiento lo aumenta y las almas mismas no pueden defenderse ni forzarse el amor de los humanos. Así que ahora el amor o el desamor tiene un efecto notable y hace que al alma le resulte más fácil o más difícil la lucha hacia las alturas.

Las almas que tienen que prescindir por completo el amor de los humanos en la Tierra son abandonadas a su suerte en los entornos más oscuros, y su necesidad es indescriptiblemente grande. Estas almas deben ser especialmente recordadas en la Tierra en la oración, para que ellas también sientan la bendición de la intercesión, para sientan en sí mismas la fuerza del amor y se produzca un cambio en ellas.

Porque tan pronto como un pensamiento amoroso toca a almas tan solitarias, ellas lo notan y se dirigen al punto de partida de ese pensamiento, se acercan con compasión al humano que pensó en ellas y lo observan a él y su naturaleza, sus acciones y su línea de pensamiento. Tampoco acosarán nunca a un humano que les haga bien, aunque ellas mismas sólo sean capaces de tener algunos buenos impulsos. Pero reflexionan acerca de la razón por la cual su estado de sufrimiento se reduce cuando están cerca de estos humanos y siente un alivio palpable a través de la oración por las almas que luchan en la oscuridad.

Y aprenden a reconocer que el amor es el único medio para mejorar su situación. Y una vez que el alma haya adquirido este conocimiento, se vuelve suave y dispuesta a ayudar a las otras almas, y ha escapado de las dificultades más amargas. Los humanos en la Tierra pueden salvar un número infinito de almas de su miseria si intentan imaginarse la impotencia de esas almas. Porque si sienten una chispa de amor dentro de sí mismos, el gran sufrimiento debe tocar sus corazones y estimular su voluntad de ayudar a estas almas.

Los seres humanos deben incluir en sus oraciones a estas pobres almas que carecen de fuerzas para ayudarse a sí mismas, deberían pedir a Dios gracia y misericordia para estas almas, deberían extenderles su amor y nunca recordar a un difunto en el desamor para no aumentar el tormento de éste. Porque entonces el alma corre un gran peligro de endurecerse por completo y de que todo buen impulso muera en ella.... Pero las almas deben ser redimidas, y los humanos en la Tierra pueden contribuir en una cantidad indescriptible a esto....

Prayers for souls in the beyond which had not acquired love on earth....

An unredeemed soul's path of suffering is impossible to describe to people, and yet they should know that it must endure an inconceivably hopeless state because this knowledge is intended to impel people into helpfully supporting such souls, hence they are constantly admonished not to forget these souls. They will thank those people a thousand fold who ease their agony by praying for them. Souls in the beyond which leave people behind on earth with whom they were lovingly connected have an advantage compared to those which did not acquire love for themselves on earth. Loving thoughts and devout wishes follow the former, or such souls receive strength through heartfelt prayer, which can substantially improve their situation. Every loving thought is soothingly experienced by the souls and awakens love again, which then will manifest itself towards equally suffering souls. However, souls which lived without love on earth must starve and suffer unspeakably. They are quickly forgotten or they are only thought of unkindly, and this has appalling consequences on their state in the beyond. Every kind thought of people on earth for the souls in the beyond alleviates their torments, every bad thought increases them and the souls themselves are unable to defend themselves or enforce people's love for them.

Now the soul is perceptively affected by love or heartlessness which either ease or impede its struggle towards ascent. Souls which entirely lack people's love on earth have to completely depend on themselves in utterly dark surroundings and suffer indescribable hardship. These souls should be particularly considered on earth in prayer so that they, too, feel the blessing of intercession, so that they feel the strength of love within themselves and thus an inner change takes place. For as soon as a loving thought fleetingly touches such lonely souls they notice it and turn towards the place of origin of this thought, they come close to the person who mercifully thought of them and observe him and his characteristics, his actions and his train of thought. They will never harass a person who is good to them either, although they themselves are rarely capable of good feelings. Yet they dwell on the reason why their state of suffering eases when they are close to these people and they sense noticeable relief through the prayer on behalf of the struggling souls in darkness. And they learn to recognise that love is the only means for improving their situation. And once the soul has gained this realisation then it will also become gentle and helpful towards other souls and they will have escaped the bitterest hardship. People on earth would be able to redeem infinitely many souls from their hardship if they tried to imagine the helplessness of these souls. For if they feel a spark of love within themselves their great suffering should move them and arouse their will to help these souls. People should include these poor souls which lack the strength to help themselves in their prayer, they should call upon God for grace and mercy for these souls, they shall give them their love and never think heartlessly of a deceased person so as not to increase his pain. For then the soul will be in great danger of becoming completely hard and every good inclination in it dying.... But the souls should be redeemed and people on earth can contribute an awful lot towards achieving it....
