Value of intercession for the otherworldly....

It is of great importance to know the situation of the souls in the kingdom of the beyond who, in their adversity, recognize what they missed on earth and make an effort to improve their situation. Only these can be helped by beings of light, for since the souls' free will is also respected in the spiritual kingdom the beings of light cannot influence the souls against their will; thus the redemption of a still unwilling soul will be extremely difficult and it can often take eternities until the soul makes an effort to improve itself. But it is now a wrong concept if it is assumed that help is never offered to the souls in darkness.... The kingdom of light constantly endeavours to bring light into the darkness, yet where the hearts close themselves the light loses its luminosity and it remains dark there as before. So the souls determine their state themselves, which can be darkness or twilight or light.... they determine it themselves through their will, which must first be turned towards the light if it is to become brighter around the soul. But if a soul is so weakened or even completely in the hands of God's adversary, then it will eternally not be able to rise from this weakness alone. Nor does it know anything about the divine redeemer Jesus Christ and thus cannot call upon Him for help either.... And it would therefore remain in its wretched state for eternity if it is not helped through the intercession of people.... Precisely this intercession is mostly omitted because people do not believe in its effect and urgency. But intercession is a significant factor especially for the kingdom of the beyond, for where the being itself is no longer able to help itself and God's love is legally bound by the soul's free will, a person's love can intervene, and for the sake of his love God's love can now become active and give it to the unfortunate being in the form of strength supply.... The final decision still remains with the soul itself as to whether and how it will use the strength it now receives through the intercession of the human being. But it feels this strength as a blessing, and it begins to relax its previous resistance, and it becomes somewhat lighter within itself so that it begins to think, and its redemption can now take place if only it uses the strength of the intercession correctly. Then the beings of light can also intervene without finding resistance. Every connection of souls of darkness with the world of light or with God is therefore impossible as long as the will is not broken before, which still remains in open resistance with God, otherwise the being would not be in darkness. For it is not decided by the desire for a better state alone, which every being in darkness will certainly have, but it must first recognize the cause of its wretched state and make an effort to change this cause, to change itself and desire light for the sake of light, not for the sake of the associated bliss.... The being must recognize its sinfulness and want to be rid of its sins, it must desire redemption out of the realization that in this sinfulness it is not worthy of God's nearness, and it must want to become free from sin and death in order to come close to God, for Whom the soul must yearn. which will certainly be the case once it recognizes its guilt and confesses it to Jesus Christ, Who will repeatedly approach it in order to cause it to call upon Him in its distress.... The soul must want to find its way out of its state of torment itself, yet always in profound humility and in the realization of its sins. And this requires its transformed will, which can only achieve such a change through intercession, because the soul alone is too weak when it enters the kingdom of the beyond in a state of darkness. Then it can receive so much strength through intercession which it will certainly use in the right way, because God's love is extremely happy to reward the love of intercessory people with the fulfilment of their requests to help an unhappy soul in the spiritual kingdom in its adversity. Love alone removes barriers which God's justice has set up and which cannot be arbitrarily overturned either.... God's love is limited by the will of the soul itself.... Thus, where the soul's will fails, a person's vicarious love can step in, and for the sake of this love God will help the soul to become free from its wretched situation.... for God only wants every being's bliss but not its ruin....

Wert der Fürbitte für Jenseitige....

Es ist von großer Wichtigkeit, zu wissen um die Lage der Seelen im jenseitigen Reich, die in ihrer Not erkennen, was sie versäumten auf Erden, und sich bemühen, ihre Lage zu verbessern. Nur diesen kann geholfen werden durch Wesen des Lichtes, denn da auch im geistigen Reich der freie Wille der Seelen geachtet wird, können die Lichtwesen auch nicht wider ihren Willen auf die Seelen einwirken; also wird die Erlösung einer noch unwilligen Seele überaus schwer sein, und sie kann oft Ewigkeiten brauchen, bis die Seele sich selbst um eine Besserung bemüht. Es ist nun aber ein falscher Begriff, wenn angenommen wird, daß den Seelen in der Finsternis niemals Hilfe angetragen wird.... Das Lichtreich ist unentwegt bemüht, Licht in die Finsternis hineinzutragen, doch wo sich die Herzen verschließen, verliert das Licht an Leuchtkraft, und es bleibt dort finster wie zuvor. Es bestimmen also die Seelen ihren Zustand selbst, der Finsternis oder Dämmerung oder Licht sein kann.... sie bestimmen ihn selbst durch ihren Willen, der erst dem Licht zugewendet sein muß, soll es heller um die Seele werden. Ist nun aber eine Seele so geschwächt oder auch noch gänzlich in den Händen des Gegners von Gott, dann wird sie ewiglich nicht allein sich aus dieser Schwäche erheben können.... Sie weiß auch nichts von dem göttlichen Erlöser Jesus Christus und kann Ihn also auch nicht um Hilfe anrufen.... Und sie würde daher in ihrem unglückseligen Zustand ewige Zeiten verharren, wenn ihr nicht geholfen wird durch Fürbitte der Menschen.... Gerade diese Fürbitte wird zumeist unterlassen, weil nicht an ihre Wirkung und ihre Dringlichkeit geglaubt wird. Aber die Fürbitte ist gerade für das jenseitige Reich ein bedeutsamer Faktor, denn wo das Wesen selbst nicht mehr fähig ist, sich zu helfen, und die Liebe Gottes gesetzlich gebunden ist durch den freien Willen der Seele, dort kann die Liebe eines Menschen sich vermittelnd einschalten, und um dessen Liebe willen kann nun Gottes Liebe tätig werden und sie dem unglückseligen Wesen zuwenden in Form von Kraftzufuhr.... Die letzte Entscheidung bleibt zwar immer noch bei der Seele selbst, ob und wie sie die Kraft nützet, die ihr durch die Fürbitte des Menschen nun zugeht. Aber sie empfindet diese Kraft als Wohltat, und sie beginnt nachzulassen in ihrem bisherigen Widerstand, und es wird etwas heller in ihr, so daß sie nachzudenken beginnt, und es kann nun ihre Erlösung stattfinden, wenn sie nur die Kraft der Fürbitte recht nützet. Dann können sich auch die Lichtwesen einschalten, ohne Widerstand zu finden. Jede Verbindung also von Seelen der Finsternis mit der Lichtwelt oder mit Gott ist unmöglich, solange nicht der Wille zuvor gebrochen ist, der noch im offenen Widerstand mit Gott verharrt, ansonsten das Wesen nicht in der Finsternis wäre. Denn es entscheidet nicht das Verlangen nach einem besseren Zustand allein, den wohl jedes Wesen in der Finsternis haben wird, sondern es muß zuvor die Ursache seines elenden Zustandes erkennen und sich bemühen, diese Ursache zu ändern, sich selbst zu wandeln und Licht zu begehren um des Lichtes willen, nicht um der damit verbundenen Seligkeit willen.... Es muß das Wesen seine Sündhaftigkeit erkennen und seiner Sünden ledig werden wollen, es muß die Erlösung begehren aus der Erkenntnis heraus, daß es in dieser Sündhaftigkeit nicht der Nähe Gottes würdig ist, und es muß frei werden wollen von Sünde und Tod, um Gott nahezukommen, nach Dem die Seele (sich = d. Hg.) sehnen muß.... was auch sicher der Fall sein wird, wenn sie einmal ihre Schuld erkennt und sie bekennt vor Jesus Christus, Der immer wieder ihr nahetreten wird, um sie zu veranlassen, daß sie zu Ihm rufet in ihrer Not.... Die Seele muß selbst wollen, aus ihrem Qualzustand herauszufinden, doch immer in tiefer Demut und in der Erkenntnis ihrer Sünden. Und das erfordert ihren umgewandelten Willen, der zu einer solchen Wandlung gelangen kann eben nur durch Fürbitte, weil die Seele allein zu schwach ist, wenn sie das jenseitige Reich im Zustand der Finsternis betritt. Dann kann sie durch Fürbitte soviel Kraft zugewendet bekommen, die sie auch sicher in der rechten Weise nützen wird, weil Gottes Liebe überaus gern die Liebe der fürbittenden Menschen belohnt mit der Erfüllung ihrer Bitten, einer unglücklichen Seele im geistigen Reich zu helfen in ihrer Not. Die Liebe allein beseitigt Schranken, die die Gerechtigkeit Gottes aufgestellt hat und die auch nicht willkürlich umgestoßen werden können.... Der Liebe Gottes sind Schranken gesetzt durch den Willen der Seele selbst.... Wo deren Wille also versagt, kann die stellvertretende Liebe eines Menschen einspringen, und Gott wird um dieser Liebe willen der Seele helfen, aus ihrer unglückseligen Lage frei zu werden.... denn Gott will nur eines jeden Wesens Seligkeit, nicht aber sein Verderben....
