Reminder.... free will.... faith without proof....

The beingness strives for the last embodiment on earth because through this it promises itself final liberation. And therefore it now has to pass the last test of life as a human being, deprived of all recollection of the previous stages, so that the passing of this test of earthly life only depends on the decision of its free will. He receives the knowledge about his task on earth, either through instructions by human beings or mental instructions by knowing spiritual beings, and the human being's will is now faced with decisions which can bring him closer to God or increase his distance from Him. If he knew about his previous life his actions and thoughts would be under the impression of that previous life and then one could not speak of a free decision, because the constraint in the many forms, which the beingness has overcome, would have such a burdening effect on the soul of man that it would now lead its way of life under a certain compulsion or the fear of having to live through the previous stages once again. But then the being could never reach a degree of maturity for which free will is a prerequisite. Consequently, the soul must be deprived of its past memories in order not to make it unfree and therefore unsuitable for its higher spiritual development. However, during the time of life on earth the consequences of a right as well as a wrong life are nevertheless brought to man's attention, only this happens by way of instructions which cannot be proven but only have to be believed, so that again the freedom of will remains, since proofs would likewise have a determining effect on man, thus man would again act under compulsion. All knowledge can be made accessible to the human being, and yet divine wisdom cannot be proven but requires profound faith and therefore cannot be regarded as a means of coercion by which the soul is forced onto a certain path without its will. God constantly gives people knowledge about the consequences of their earthly walk, but always in a way that nevertheless allows them to act freely.... He brings Himself close to them but does not force Himself upon them.... However, no matter what they decide they have to accept the consequences, for God has granted them a measure of grace for the time of their earthly life which only needs to be utilized. He does not leave the soul helplessly to its own devices but gives it every conceivable assistance so that it will cover the earthly path correctly. And thus the time of embodiment as a human being is a real time of grace for the being which can result in its complete liberation from the form if the being does not oppose it with its will and rejects the grace granted to it by God's love.... Then it has decided of its own free will in favour of God's adversary and left its last embodiment on earth unused, and then it has to wrestle and fight in the beyond in agony and self-reproach in order to make its self-inflicted fate bearable and to be able to record spiritual progress....

La reminiscenza - La libera volontà - La fede senza dimostrazione

L’essenziale aspira all’ultima incorporazione sulla Terra, perché da questa si spera la definitiva liberazione. E quindi ora deve sostenere l’ultima prova di vita come uomo, derubato di ogni reminiscenza sugli stadi antecedente, affinché il superamento di questa prova di vita terrena dipenda solo dalla decisione della sua libera volontà. Il sapere quale compito gli è posto sulla Terra, gli giunge o attraverso ammaestramenti da parte umana, oppure da ammaestramenti mentali di esseri spirituali sapienti ed ora la volontà dell’uomo viene posta davanti alle decisioni che lo possono portare più vicino a Dio oppure aumentare l’allontanamento da Lui. Se sapesse della sua vita antecedente, allora il suo agire e pensare starebbero sotto l’impressione di quella vita antecedente e non si potrebbe parlare di una libera decisione, perché la relegazione in molte forme che l’essenziale ha superato, agirebbe di peso sull’anima dell’uomo, che ora condurrebbe la sua vita sotto una certa costrizione oppure per paura di dover ancora una volta vivere fino in fondo gli stadi antecedenti. Ma l’essere allora non potrebbe raggiungere un grado di maturità per cui è premessa la libera volontà. Di conseguenza, all’anima dev’essere tolta la reminiscenza per non essere resa non-libera e quindi non idonea per il suo sviluppo spirituale verso l’Alto. Nel tempo del cammino terreno però vengono rese chiare all’uomo le conseguenze di una vita giusta come di quella sbagliata, questo avviene solo sulla via di istruzioni che non possono essere dimostrate, ma devono solo essere credute in modo che rimanga di nuovo la libertà della volontà, dato che delle dimostrazioni agirebbero in modo determinante sull’uomo, quindi esso agirebbe di nuovo sotto costrizione. All’uomo può essere dischiuso qualsiasi sapere e malgrado ciò le Sapienze divine non possono essere dimostrate, ma richiedono una profonda fede e perciò non possono essere considerate come mezzi di costrizione con le quali l’anima viene spinta su una determinata via senza la sua volontà. Dio dà agli uomini costantemente la conoscenza sulle conseguenze del loro cammino terreno, ma sempre in un modo che li lascia comunque agire liberamente. Egli Si porta loro vicino, ma non Si impone a loro. Ma comunque si decidono, devono prendere su di sé le conseguenze, perché Dio per il tempo del loro cammino terreno ha concesso loro una misura di Grazia che deve soltanto essere utilizzata. Egli non lascia l’anima a sé stessa senza Aiuto, ma le concede ogni Assistenza immaginabile, affinché percorra giustamente la via terrena. E così il tempo dell’incorporazione come uomo è per l’essere un vero tempo di Grazia che gli può procurare la definitiva liberazione dalla forma, se l’essere non vi oppone la sua volontà e respinge la Grazia che l’Amore di Dio gli concede. Allora si è deciso nella libera volontà per l’avversario di Dio ed ha lasciato inutilizzata la sua ultima incorporazione sulla Terra ed allora nell’aldilà deve lottare e combattere sotto tormenti ed auto rimproveri, per rendersi sopportabile la sua sorte di cui lui stesso è colpevole e per poter registrare un successo spirituale.
