Activity of the spiritual spark in man....

The turning point in earthly life is the moment when the soul gives the spirit within itself the freedom to vibrate upwards in order to make contact with the spiritual beyond the human soul. The earlier this process begins, the sooner the human being reaches the degree of maturity which is the precondition for receiving light and knowledge. The human being is ignorant as long as the spirit in him is not yet active, as long as the divine spark slumbers in the human being, for the spiritual cannot reveal itself to the human soul; it is as it were incapable of grasping a spiritual communication, for its kingdom is earth, matter.... and the spiritual is still completely alien to it. Only when the spiritual spark within itself becomes active and tries to impart knowledge from the spiritual realm does it begin to comprehend. Man will have no understanding of that which is not earthly visible or tangible as long as he does not concern himself more closely with it. However, he only does the latter when what is earthly visible and tangible is no longer sufficient for him, i.e. when the fulfilment of physical desire seems unattractive to him, i.e. when he disregards the body and longs for higher knowledge;.... when he suddenly recognizes a shortcoming in his current state.... when the life he leads is not enough for him and he turns his attention to things he cannot fathom with mere common sense. Then he ponders, i.e. he sends his spirit upwards, and now the spirit connects with the spiritual outside itself, which corresponds to the nature of man. In other words, if the human being is good and noble, truth-loving and longing for God, then his spirit connects with the spiritual that was in the same endeavour, that embodied the good, the true and the divine.... But which, in contrast to man, already stands on a level of perfection that enables it to teach the spiritual that entrusts itself to it. What the spirit therefore now receives are wisdoms which only concern the spiritual kingdom, which therefore can certainly be imparted to the human soul, but which do not concern earthly questions but merely promote the spiritual higher development of the human being. However, this higher development only appears significant to those people who are able to separate themselves from earthly experience, but to others it is an empty concept, for their souls simply do not realize that they can lead a life apart from the earthly, which seems much more appealing and purposeful to them. Only when the soul releases the spirit within itself can it initiate the soul into the splendours of the spiritual kingdom, and then the soul will likewise strive to ascend, that is, it will longingly desire the results of the spiritual flight upwards, into the spiritual kingdom. For it recognizes the value of what the spirit tries to convey to it, it recognizes it and tries to make itself worthy of the attention from the spiritual kingdom.... Thus the human being now consciously strives for realization, for light, and the conscious striving also brings him light, the human being becomes knowledgeable and his earthly life brings him the right success.... the higher development of his soul, which is the purpose and goal of earthly life....

L’attività della scintilla spirituale nell’uomo

Il punto di svolta nella vita terrena è il momento in cui l’anima dà la libertà allo spirito in sé, che questo si possa librare in Alto per entrare in collegamento con lo spirituale al di fuori dell’anima umana. Prima inizia questo procedimento, prima l’uomo raggiunge il grado di maturità che è pre-condizione per ricevere Luce e sapere. L’uomo è ignorante finché lo spirito in lui non è ancora attivo, finché la scintilla divina nell’uomo sonnecchia, perché lo spirituale non può rivelarsi all’anima umana; questa è pure incapace di afferrare una comunicazione spirituale, perché il suo regno è la Terra, la materia e lo spirituale le è ancora totalmente ignaro. Comincia a comprendere solo, quando la scintilla spirituale in lei stessa diventa attiva e cerca di trasmettere del sapere dal Regno spirituale. L’uomo non avrà nessuna comprensione per ciò che terrenamente non è visibile o afferrabile, finché non vi si occupa più da vicino. Quest’ultima cosa la farà soltanto, quando l’esaudimento dei desideri corporei gli sembra senza fascino, quindi lascia inosservato il corpo ed ha il desiderio per un sapere superiore; quando vede all’improvviso un ammanco nel suo attuale stato, quando la vita che conduce non gli basta e rivolge la sua attenzione a cose che non può sondare con il solo intelletto di testa. Allora si scervella, quindi manda il suo spirito in Alto ed ora lo spirito si collega con lo spirituale al di fuori di sé. Cioè se l’uomo è buono e nobile, se ama la Verità ed ha il desiderio per Dio, allora lo spirito si unisce con lo spirituale che si trova nello stesso tendere, che quindi incorpora il buono, il vero ed il divino, che però al contrario dell’uomo, si trova già su un gradino di perfezione che lo rende capace di istruire lo spirituale a lui affidato. Quello che ora lo spirito riceve, sono delle Sapienze che riguardano solo il Regno spirituale che possono bensì essere trasmesse all’anima umana, che però non riguardano questioni terrene, ma promuovono solo lo sviluppo spirituale verso l’Alto dell’uomo. Questo sviluppo verso l’Alto appare importante solo agli uomini che possono staccarsi dall’esperienza terrena, ma per gli altri è un concetto vuoto, perché le loro anime semplicemente non afferrano che possono condurre una vita oltre a quella terrena, che a loro sembra molto più affascinante e che adempie lo scopo. Solo quando l’anima libera lo spirito in sé, questo può istruire l’anima sulle Magnificenze del Regno spirituale ed allora pure l’anima aspira verso l’Alto, cioè brama con nostalgia i risultati del volo spirituale verso l’Alto, nel Regno spirituale. Perché riconosce il valore di ciò che lo spirito cerca di trasmetterle, lo riconosce e cerca di rendersi degna dell’apporto dal Regno spirituale. Quindi l’uomo aspira ora consciamente alla conoscenza, alla Luce e questo cosciente tendere gli procura anche la Luce, l’uomo diventa sapiente e la sua vita terrena gli procura ora il giusto successo, lo sviluppo verso l’Alto della sua anima che è scopo e meta del cammino di vita terreno.
