Activity of the spiritual spark in man....

The turning point in earthly life is the moment when the soul gives the spirit within itself the freedom to vibrate upwards in order to make contact with the spiritual beyond the human soul. The earlier this process begins, the sooner the human being reaches the degree of maturity which is the precondition for receiving light and knowledge. The human being is ignorant as long as the spirit in him is not yet active, as long as the divine spark slumbers in the human being, for the spiritual cannot reveal itself to the human soul; it is as it were incapable of grasping a spiritual communication, for its kingdom is earth, matter.... and the spiritual is still completely alien to it. Only when the spiritual spark within itself becomes active and tries to impart knowledge from the spiritual realm does it begin to comprehend. Man will have no understanding of that which is not earthly visible or tangible as long as he does not concern himself more closely with it. However, he only does the latter when what is earthly visible and tangible is no longer sufficient for him, i.e. when the fulfilment of physical desire seems unattractive to him, i.e. when he disregards the body and longs for higher knowledge;.... when he suddenly recognizes a shortcoming in his current state.... when the life he leads is not enough for him and he turns his attention to things he cannot fathom with mere common sense. Then he ponders, i.e. he sends his spirit upwards, and now the spirit connects with the spiritual outside itself, which corresponds to the nature of man. In other words, if the human being is good and noble, truth-loving and longing for God, then his spirit connects with the spiritual that was in the same endeavour, that embodied the good, the true and the divine.... But which, in contrast to man, already stands on a level of perfection that enables it to teach the spiritual that entrusts itself to it. What the spirit therefore now receives are wisdoms which only concern the spiritual kingdom, which therefore can certainly be imparted to the human soul, but which do not concern earthly questions but merely promote the spiritual higher development of the human being. However, this higher development only appears significant to those people who are able to separate themselves from earthly experience, but to others it is an empty concept, for their souls simply do not realize that they can lead a life apart from the earthly, which seems much more appealing and purposeful to them. Only when the soul releases the spirit within itself can it initiate the soul into the splendours of the spiritual kingdom, and then the soul will likewise strive to ascend, that is, it will longingly desire the results of the spiritual flight upwards, into the spiritual kingdom. For it recognizes the value of what the spirit tries to convey to it, it recognizes it and tries to make itself worthy of the attention from the spiritual kingdom.... Thus the human being now consciously strives for realization, for light, and the conscious striving also brings him light, the human being becomes knowledgeable and his earthly life brings him the right success.... the higher development of his soul, which is the purpose and goal of earthly life....

Actividad de la chispa espiritual en el hombre....

El punto de inflexión en la vida terrenal es el momento en que el alma da al espíritu dentro de sí la libertad de oscilar hacia arriba para entrar en contacto con lo espiritual fuera del alma humana. Cuanto antes comience este proceso, antes el hombre alcanzará el grado de madurez que es un requisito previo para recibir luz y conocimiento. El hombre es ignorante mientras el espíritu en él aún no está activo, mientras la chispa divina permanece dormida en el hombre, porque lo espiritual no puede revelarse al alma humana; Ella es, por así decirlo, incapaz de captar la comunicación espiritual, porque su reino es la Tierra, la materia.... y las cosas espirituales todavía le son completamente ajenas.

Sólo cuando la chispa espiritual dentro de ella se activa y trata de captar conocimiento del reino espiritual, comienza a comprender. El hombre no comprenderá lo que no es visible o tangible mientras no lo trate con más detalle. Pero sólo hace este último cuando lo que es visible y tangible en la Tierra ya no le satisface, es decir, cuando la satisfacción de los deseos físicos le parece poco atractivo, por lo que ignora el cuerpo y desea un conocimiento superior;.... cuando de repente ve un defecto en su estado actual.... cuando la vida que lleva no le basta y se concentra en cosas que no puede comprender solo con su entendimiento de cabeza.

Entonces reflexiona, es decir, envía su espíritu hacia arriba, y ahora el espíritu se conecta con lo espiritual fuera de sí mismo, lo que corresponde a la naturaleza del ser humano. Es decir, si una persona es buena y noble, amante de la verdad y anhelante de Dios, entonces su espíritu se conecta con lo espiritual, que está en el mismo esfuerzo y que encarna lo bueno, lo verdadero y lo divino.... Pero que, a diferencia del ser humano, ya se encuentra en un nivel de perfección que le permite instruir al espiritual que se le confía.

Entonces lo que el espíritu recibe ahora es sabiduría que sólo concierne al reino espiritual, que por tanto puede ser transmitida al alma humana pero que no concierne a cuestiones terrenales, sino que sólo promueve el desarrollo superior del ser humano. Sin embargo, este desarrollo superior sólo parece significativo a los hombres que pueden separarse de la experiencia terrenal, mientras que para otros es un concepto vacío, porque sus almas simplemente no comprenden que pueden llevar una vida separada de las cosas terrenales, lo que les parece ser mucho más atractivo y cumpliendo su propósito.

Sólo cuando el alma libera al espíritu dentro de sí misma, el espíritu puede iniciarla en las glorias del reino espiritual, y entonces el alma también se esfuerza hacia arriba, es decir, anhela los resultados del vuelo espiritual hacia arriba, hacia el reino espiritual. Debido a que reconoce el valor de lo que el espíritu está tratando de transmitirle, lo reconoce y busca hacerse digno de la atención del reino espiritual.... Así que ahora el hombre se esfuerza conscientemente por la cognición, por la luz y el esfuerzo consciente también le traerá la luz, el hombre llegará a ser sabiendo y su vida en la Tierra le traerá el éxito correcto.... el desarrollo superior de su alma, que es el propósito y el objetivo de su vida terrenal....
