Word of God food of heaven.... rejecting people....

People carelessly pass by the most precious thing that is offered to them. They do not feel the breath of God that touches them, they feel nothing of His power, and so they also pay no attention to what His love offers them. They feel neither hunger nor thirst for spiritual nourishment, and therefore they do not desire the food of heaven. And divine love repeatedly offers them His word because they are in dire need of it. For anyone who does not know the word of God, who does not hear it, knows nothing of God's love, of His will and of His promises.... and he goes along completely ignorant. That is why God repeatedly brings His word close to people, because He wants them to learn to recognize Him. And time and again His love strives for people, for they are His children who are in great need if they do not recognize and love Him.... He wants to convey His love to them and can only do so if they are active in love themselves.... He wants to teach them love, but they do not accept any teachings.... He wants to awaken their spirit, He wants to point them to eternity.... He wants to introduce them to their sinfulness and point them to the work of redemption, to His death on the cross. He wants to tell them the meaning and purpose of life on earth and therefore people need His word, which they should hear, accept and obey.... Yet humanity rejects it. It is offered the most precious thing but does not recognize it as a divine gift. People carelessly let it slip past their ears, smiling when it is mentioned. And thus it cannot take effect on them, they cannot test the power which the pure word of God emanates to those people who long and hunger for it. And the devotion to it becomes ever more urgent if the lack of strength among humanity is not to increase constantly. And that is why God now expresses Himself so obviously that people who receive knowledge of it should take notice. And the signs and wonders will increase, for God wants to make Himself known to people because they no longer recognize Him.... He approaches them with love and wants to awaken love, He wants to make people aware and therefore lets a little light flare up which shines so brightly that it spreads a bright glow.... And every person is free to make use of the light.... Yet anyone who avoids it, who avoids its ray of light, must continue to walk his path in darkness, for he rejects the divine love which wants to help him in his adversity.... For God certainly offers His love to everyone, yet this love remains ineffective if the human being resists and disregards God's love. His spiritual hardship cannot be remedied and he continues to languish in dark spiritual night....

하늘에서 온 하나님의 양식인 말씀. 사람들의 거부.

사람들은 그들에게 주어진 가장 귀한 것에 주의를 기울이지 않고 지나친다. 그들은 그들에게 닿는 하나님의 숨결을 느끼지 못하고, 그러므로 하나님의 사랑이 그들에게 제공하는 것에 주의를 기울이지 않는다. 그들은 영의 양식을 향한 굶주림도 목마름도 느끼지 못한다. 그러므로 그들은 하늘의 양식을 갈망하지 않는다.

하나님의 사랑이, 그들이 하나님의 말씀을 절실하게 필요로 하기 때문에, 계속하여 그들에게 하나님의 말씀을 제공한다. 왜냐면 하나님의 말씀을 모르고, 듣지 않는 사람은 하나님의 사랑과 그의 뜻과 약속을 알지 못하기 때문이다. 그는 완전히 무지한 가운데 산다. 그러므로 하나님은 자신의 말씀을 사람들이 이해할 수 있게 해준다. 왜냐면 하나님은 사람들이 자신을 깨닫는 법을 배우기를 원하기 때문이다.

하나님의 사랑은 항상 또 다시 사람들을 얻기 위해 노력한다. 왜냐하면 그들이 하나님을 깨닫고, 사랑하지 않으면, 큰 위험에 빠지는 하나님의 자녀들이기 때문이다. 하나님은 그들에게 자신의 사랑을 전하기를 원하고, 그들이 스스로 사랑을 행할 때, 비로소 그들에게 자신의 사랑을 전해줄 수 있다. 하나님은 그들에게 사랑을 가르치기를 원한다. 그러나 그들이 가르침을 받아들이지 않는다. 하나님은 그들의 영을 깨워주기를 원하고, 그들에게 영원에 대해 가르쳐주기를 원한다.

하나님은 그들에게 그들의 죄악을 알려주고, 그들에게 구속 사역인 자신의 십자가의 죽음에 대해 가르치기를 원한다. 그는 이 땅의 삶의 의미와 목적을 그들에게 알려주기를 원한다. 그러므로 사람들에게 그들이 듣고, 영접하고, 순종해야 하는 하나님의 말씀이 필요하다. 그러나 인류는 하나님의 말씀을 거부한다.

가장 귀중한 것이 그들에게 제공되지만, 그들은 이를 하나님의 선물로 깨닫지를 못한다. 사람들에게 가장 귀중한 것을 언급할 때, 그들은 그것에 대해 웃으며, 주의를 기울이지 않고 지나친다. 그러므로 하나님의 말씀의 효과가 그들에게 나타날 수 없고, 그들은 하나님의 순수한 말씀을 갈망하고, 굶주려 하는 사람들에게서 흘러가는 힘을 시험해볼 수 없다.

인류 가운데 무기력함이 지속적으로 증가되지 않으려면, 힘을 공급해주는 일이 항상 더 시급해지고 있다. 그러므로 하나님은 자신을 아주 분명하게 나타내어, 이를 깨닫는 사람들이 주의를 기울이게 한다. 사람들이 더 이상 하나님을 인정하지 않기 때문에, 하나님은 사람들에게 자신을 알리기를 원하기 때문에 표적과 기사가 증가하게 될 것이다. 하나님 자신이 사랑으로 그들에게 다가가, 사랑이 깨어나게 해주기를 원한다. 하나님은 사람들이 알게 되기를 원한다. 그러므로 작은 빛을 비춰주고, 이 빛이 밝게 빛나, 밝은 빛이 전파되게 한다.

모든 사람은 이런 빛을 자유롭게 활용할 수 있다. 그러나 이 빛을 피하는 사람은, 그의 빛의 광선을 피하는 사람은 어두움 속에서 길을 계속 가야만 한다. 왜냐하면 그가 위험 가운데 있는 그를 돕기 원하는 하나님의 사랑을 거부하기 때문이다. 왜냐하면 하나님은 실제 모든 사람에게 자신의 사랑을 제공한다. 그러나 사람이 하나님의 사랑을 거부하고, 주의를 기울이지 않는다면, 이 사랑은 효과가 나타나지 않기 때문이다. 그의 영적인 위험은 해결될 수 없고, 그는 계속하여 어두운 영적 밤 속에서 고통을 당하게 된다.
