Belief in supernatural things.... divine promise....

Faith in the love, omnipotence and wisdom of God is absolutely necessary in order to be able to explain something that lies outside the natural. Everything that appears supernatural is doubted, i.e. the supernatural is denied and an attempt is made to present it as something natural that is at best beyond human knowledge. Only the deeply believing person accepts the possibility that it could be divine activity, because the love, omnipotence and wisdom of God is explanation and proof enough for him. And even if the human being appears to have faith, this faith is nevertheless not deep enough as long as he does not believe that God's visible activity towards people is possible. People still separate earthly life too much from spiritual experience, they are still too much on earth to have an understanding for spiritual activity.... They certainly call out to God but when He wants to make Himself recognizable to them they flee.... Experiencing God is only possible when He is recognized without doubt. But recognizing Him without doubt means considering even the most incomprehensible to be possible if God wills it.... But man must not want to determine the divine will himself.... How does man imagine God's love if It does not want to express Itself in greatest need?.... if It wants to leave Its creatures without help when they can no longer help themselves.... if It does not want to send comfort and strength to struggling people in order to prevent them from fainting.... And how small this love of His would be if He did not want to use every means to bring the earthly children back to the father.... And His omnipotence and wisdom will truly choose the right means and be willing and able to consider the earthly children in such a way that they can derive blessings for their souls from it. Everything that comes from God must therefore be supernatural. If a person recognizes God then he must not deny supernatural things either, he can only fear to fall victim to supernatural evil powers. But what these offer people is truly not pointing to God.... And if a person endeavours to fulfil the divine will, he does not call the forces of the underworld to him. These will indeed press a God-fearing person hard, but the will to God also gives him the power from God, because he expresses this will to God through his prayer and thereby requests the power from God. "Faith moves mountains....", says the lord.... but who believes His promises? God is love, and he who lives in love abides in God and God in him.... So if you believe these words, how can it surprise you that God Himself speaks through a human being? "I will send you My spirit, who will guide you into all truth...." And if God sends it to you, you will not believe. Yet without faith you cannot be offered the bread of heaven, for you do not recognize it as such but want to see human work in it. And thus you cannot receive comfort and strength, and you will come away empty-handed and will have to fight hard in the adversity of the coming time. And again your own will is an obstacle, for it erects barriers which God Himself wanted to tear down in order to be closer to you in spirit. And you do not establish a living connection with Him, for otherwise you would have to recognize His voice when He speaks to you. You must allow all His words to gain life by obeying them so that the promises to you will also be fulfilled....

Glaube an übernatürliche Dinge.... Göttliche Verheißung....

Es ist der Glaube unbedingt erforderlich an die Liebe, Allmacht und Weisheit Gottes, um sich etwas erklären zu können, was außerhalb des Natürlichen liegt. Alles übernatürlich Erscheinende wird angezweifelt, d.h., es wird ihm das Übernatürliche abgesprochen und es als etwas Natürliches hinzustellen versucht, das höchstens außerhalb des menschlichen Wissens liegt. Nur der tief gläubige Mensch nimmt die Möglichkeit an, daß es göttliches Wirken sein könne, weil die Liebe, Allmacht und Weisheit Gottes ihm dafür Erklärung und Beweis genug ist. Und ob auch der Mensch scheinbar im Glauben steht, so ist dieser Glaube doch nicht tief genug, solange er ein sichtbares Wirken Gottes an den Menschen nicht für möglich hält. Es trennen die Menschen das Erdenleben noch zu sehr vom geistigen Erleben, sie stehen noch zu sehr auf der Erde, um für geistiges Wirken Verständnis zu haben.... Sie rufen wohl zu Gott, doch so Er Sich ihnen erkenntlich machen will, fliehen sie.... Gott zu erleben ist nur dann möglich, wenn Er ungezweifelt anerkannt wird. Ihn ungezweifelt anerkennen aber heißt, auch das Unfaßbarste für möglich zu halten, wenn Gott es will.... Den göttlichen Willen aber darf der Mensch nicht selbst bestimmen wollen.... Wie stellt sich der Mensch die Liebe Gottes vor, wenn Sie Sich nicht äußern möchte in größter Not?.... wenn Sie Ihre Geschöpfe ohne Hilfe belassen möchte, so sie sich selbst nicht mehr helfen können.... wenn Sie den ringenden Menschen nicht Trost und Kraft senden möchte, um sie vor dem Ermatten zu bewahren.... Und wie klein wäre diese Seine Liebe, so Er nicht jedes Mittel anwenden möchte, um die Erdenkinder dem Vater wieder zuzuführen.... Und Seine Allmacht und Weisheit wird wahrlich das rechte Mittel wählen und die Erdenkinder so bedenken wollen und können, daß sie Segen für ihre Seelen daraus ziehen können. Übernatürlich muß also alles sein, was von Gott kommt. Erkennt der Mensch Gott an, dann darf er auch übernatürliche Dinge nicht verneinen, nur kann er fürchten, übernatürlichen bösen Kräften zum Opfer zu fallen. Doch was diese den Menschen bieten, ist wahrlich nicht zu Gott hinweisend.... Und so ein Mensch sich bemüht, den göttlichen Willen zu erfüllen, ruft er nicht die Kräfte der Unterwelt zu sich heran. Diese werden einen gottesfürchtigen Menschen zwar hart bedrängen, doch der Wille zu Gott vermittelt ihm auch die Kraft aus Gott, denn diesen Willen zu Gott bekundet er durch sein Gebet und fordert dadurch die Kraft aus Gott an. "Der Glaube versetzt Berge....", so spricht der Herr.... doch wer glaubt Seinen Verheißungen? Gott ist die Liebe, und wer in der Liebe lebt, der bleibt in Gott und Gott in ihm.... So ihr nun diesen Worten Glauben schenkt, wie kann es euch dann Wunder nehmen, daß Gott Selbst durch einen Menschen spricht? "Ich will euch Meinen Geist senden, der euch in alle Wahrheit leitet...." Und so Gott ihn euch sendet, so glaubet ihr nicht. Doch ohne Glauben kann euch nicht das Brot des Himmels geboten werden, denn ihr erkennt es nicht als solches, sondern ihr wollt menschliches Werk darin erblicken. Und so kann euch Trost und Kraft nicht zugehen, und ihr geht leer aus und werdet schwer zu kämpfen haben in der Not der kommenden Zeit. Und wieder ist euer eigener Wille Hindernis, denn er richtet Schranken auf, die Gott Selbst niederreißen wollte, um euch näher zu sein im Geist. Und die lebendige Verbindung mit Ihm knüpfet ihr nicht an, denn sonst müßtet ihr Seine Stimme erkennen, so Er zu euch spricht. Alle Seine Worte müsset ihr Leben gewinnen lassen, indem ihr sie befolgt, auf daß sich auch die Verheißungen an euch erfüllen....
