Divine grace must be asked for.... not indiscriminately.... (predestination)

Whoever feels drawn to Me, whoever flees to Me in every adversity and tribulation, I will hear his pleas. For he recognizes Me as his father and his plea is childlike and trusting. And the father is always willing to reduce the hardship of His children, and thus I also want to save you and give you peace. It is only necessary for the sake of your souls that you come into distress so that you seek Me and your hearts cry out to Me. For only suffering brings you closer to Me. However, you will never be forsaken if only you do not pray to Me, if only you do not turn away from Me. And therefore always trust in My love and wait until help comes to you.

It is never man's own merit if he reaches the heights, but it is God's grace that brings this about. However, it must not prevent man from working on himself, he must never think that he does not need to do anything, but can only rely on the grace of God. He will only be appreciated by God's grace if he proves through his deeds, his behaviour, his thoughts and actions that he wants to ascend. This will, which now lets him ask for God's help in prayer, now earns him the grace which again brings about the perfection of the soul. Divine grace is therefore by no means a gift from God that is given to people indiscriminately, with which one person is given while another person has to go without.... No, divine grace is available to every person without measure. No human being will ask for God's grace in vain. But it can never be imparted to a person without it being requested, and therefore the only merit of a person will be that he turns to the heavenly father again and again in prayer and humbly asks for His grace. Everything else will then be accomplished by God's love itself in a person who thus surrenders his will to God and consciously avails himself of God's supply of strength. And it is therefore wrong to assume that God bestows His grace on people at will.... This would be an act of the greatest injustice, for then only those people could ever be saved who were chosen by divine grace. Consciously striving for perfection would then lose all meaning, because the question could understandably be raised: Do I belong to those whom God has chosen for the eternal kingdom?.... Such a view would have to lead to the human being neglecting the work of the soul and only ever wanting to raise the objection that only divine grace can make him free, but that this cannot be attained, but that the human being must wait in peace and patience until God's grace flows to him and, if this is not the case, he must perish eternally.... Anyone who holds this view is in a terrible spiritual condition. He must doubt God's love, His goodness and mercy, he must also regard his earthly life as useless if God's grace is not bestowed upon him.... And yet it is up to the human being himself to make unlimited use of divine grace. Every person is free to come to God as often as he wants, i.e. to request in prayer everything that is simply called grace. The more sincerely he asks for it, the more abundantly God provides for the earthly child and only then can he walk on earth in a way that is pleasing to God.... His way of life is therefore no longer his own merit, but the fact that he can lead it as he now does is now the work of divine grace,.... Every person can ask, so he will also receive according to his prayer. He will be granted God's grace and will now successfully cover the path to the heights....

하나님의 은혜를 요청해야만 한다. 무작위로 역사하지 않는다. (예정)

나에게 이끌리는 사람의 기도를, 모든 어려움과 환난 속에서 나에게 도피하는 사람의 기도를 내가 들어주기를 원한다. 왜냐하면 그가 나를 자신의 아버지로 인정하고, 그의 간구는 어린아이와 같고, 신뢰를 하기 때문이다. 아버지는 항상 자녀들의 불행을 줄여줄 준비가 되어 있다. 그러므로 나도 또한 너희를 구원하고, 너희에게 평화를 주기를 원한다. 너희가 곤경에 처하게 되는 일은 단지 너희의 혼을 위해 필요한 일이다. 이로써 너희가 나를 찾게 하고, 너희의 심장이 나에게 부르 짓게 한다. 왜냐하면 단지 고통만이 너희가 나에게 더 가까이 다가가게 해주기 때문이다. 그러나 너희가 나를 포기하지 않으면, 너희가 나를 외면하지 않는다면, 너희는 결코 버림을 받지 않게 될 것이다. 그러므로 항상 나의 사랑을 신뢰하고, 도움이 올 때까지 인내하라.

사람이 높은 곳에 도달하는 일은 절대로 사람 자신의 공로가 아니고, 하나님의 은혜가 그런 일이 일어나게 한다. 그러나 이런 사실이 사람이 자신에 대한 작업을 하는 일을 중단하게 해서는 안 된다. 그는 이제 자신이 성장하기 위해 아무 일도 할 필요가 없다고 생각해서는 절대로 안되고, 단지 하나님의 은혜를 의지할 수 있다. 그가 자신의 행동과 처신을 통해, 자신의 높이 성장하기 원하는 생각과 행동을 통해 증명한다면, 그는 하나님의 은혜를 받기에 합당하다는 인정을 받게 될 것이다. 그가 이제 기도로 하나님의 도움을 구하게 하는 이런 의지가 그에게 이제 다시 혼이 온전하게 되는 은혜를 얻게 한다.

그러므로 하나님의 은혜는 사람에게 무차별적으로 주어지는, 이로써 한 사람에게는 주어지고, 다른 사람은 굶주려야만 하는, 하나님의 선물이 아니다. 하나님의 은혜는 모든 사람에게 헤아릴 수 없게 제공이 된다. 아무도 헛되이 하나님의 은혜를 구하게 되지 않을 것이다. 그러나 은혜는 요청을 받지 않고는 인간에게 줄 수 없다. 그러므로 인간의 유일한 공로는 그가 하늘 아버지께 기도하며 겸손하게 그의 은혜를 구하는 일이다. 그 밖의 다른 모든 일은 하나님의 사랑이 자기의 의지를 하나님께 드리고, 의식적으로 하나님의 능력을 요청하는 사람에게 스스로 역사한다.

그러므로 하나님이 마음대로 사람들에게 자신의 은혜를 준다고 여기는 일은 잘못된 일이다. 그런 일은 가장 큰 불의한 행위가 되었을 것이다. 왜냐하면 항상 단지 하나님의 은혜로 선택받은 사람들만이 구원받을 수 있기 때문이다. 그러면 온전하게 되기 위해 의식적으로 노력하는 일이 아무런 의미가 없게 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 그러면 "나는 하나님이 영원한 나라를 위해 택하신 사람들에게 속합니까?" 라는 이해가 가는 질문이 제기될 수 있기 때문이다. 그런 견해는 인간이 혼에 대한 일을 소홀히 하게 하고, 항상 하나님의 은혜만이 그를 자유롭게 할 수 있지만, 자유를 성취할 수 없고, 하나님의 은혜가 그에게 허락할 때까지, 평안하게 인내하며 기다려야만 하고, 그런 경우에 해당이 되지 않는다면, 그가 영원히 멸망을 받아야만 한다는 반대하는 의견을 인정해야만 하게 한다.

이런 견해를 가진 사람은 끔찍한 영의 상태에 있게 된다. 그는 하나님의 사랑과 하나님의 선함과 긍휼을 의심해야만 한다. 더 나아가 그는 또한 하나님의 은혜가 그에게 주어지지 않는다면, 그의 자신의 이 땅의 삶을 쓸모 없는 것으로 간주해야만 하게 될 것이다. 그러나 하나님의 은혜를 무제한으로 사용하는 일은 사람 자신에게 달려 있다. 모든 사람이 원하는 만큼 자주 하나님께 나아갈 수 있다. 다시 말해 모든 사람이 볼 수 있는 은혜라고 할 수 있는 모든 것을 기도로 구할 수 있다.

더 긴밀하게 구할수록, 하나님은 이 땅의 자녀에게 더욱 풍성하게 공급하고, 이 땅의 자녀는 이제야 하나님을 기쁘게 하는 방식으로 이 땅의 삶을 살 수 있게 된다. 그러므로 그의 삶의 방식은 실제로 더 이상 그 자신의 공로가 아니고, 지금처럼 그가 행하는 것처럼 살 수 있게 된 일은 이제 하나님의 은혜의 역사이다. 누구나 기도할 수 있다. 그러므로 사람은 자신의 기도대로 받게 될 것이다. 그는 하나님의 은혜를 받게 될 것이고, 이제 성공적으로 높은 곳을 향한 길을 가게 될 것이다.
