Consequences of not recognizing an entity of God....

The more stubbornly man persists in his view that creation certainly betrays a natural power but is not the working of an exceedingly perfect being, the more the spiritual in him seeks to detach itself from the all-sustaining power, and the will to distance itself also reduces the supply of strength, so that this spiritual remains unredeemed. Not wanting to recognize an essential deity is a rejection of the strength which God wants to impart to people. The human being has lost all sense of belonging to God, despite his long earthly life he is still in the most blatant rejection of Him; he denies Him because his spirit does not want to acknowledge Him, which is now expressed through a completely erroneous view of the work of creation and its origin. Whoever believes himself to be completely independent of the creating power, i.e., whoever does not feel closely connected to this power, is also not so insofar as he deprives himself of the supply of strength which results in spiritual realization. Denying God must result in spiritual decline, for the human being exalts himself if he believes that he can shape his earthly life completely independently.... God's adversary will always support such people by trying to reinforce this erroneous opinion and thus want to determine the human being to rebel against the assumption that an essential deity rules the universe and determines the fate of the individual person. This person then perceives such a thought as a burden and oppression and therefore rejects it and believes that he can free himself from the deity if he rejects It. And he sins against God anew because he does not utilize the grace of embodiment as a human being, thus he can hardly establish the connection with God and thus lives his earthly life in vain....

Gevolgen van het niet erkennen van een werkelijke God

Hoe halsstarriger de mens in zijn mening volhardt dat de schepping wel een natuurkracht verraadt, maar niet het werkzaam zijn van een buitengewoon volmaakt wezen, des te harder probeert het geestelijke in hem zich van de alles onderhoudende kracht los te maken en de wil om zich te verwijderen, vermindert ook de krachttoevoer, zodat dit geestelijke zich niet bevrijdt.

Het niet willen erkennen van een werkelijke Godheid is een afwijzen van de kracht, die God de mensen zou willen geven. De mens heeft elk saamhorigheidsgevoel met God verloren. Hij heeft ondanks zijn eerdere lange gang over de aarde nog de sterkste weerstand tegen Hem. Hij ontkent Hem, omdat zijn geest Hem niet wil erkennen, wat nu door een totaal verkeerde mening over het scheppingswerk en diens ontstaan tot uitdrukking komt.

Wie zich totaal onafhankelijk waant van de scheppende macht, dat wil zeggen wie zich niet nauw verbonden voelt met deze macht, die is het ook niet, voor zover hij voor zichzelf deze krachttoevoer, die een geestelijke herkenning tot gevolg heeft, kwijtraakt. God te ontkennen, moet een geestelijke achteruitgang tot gevolg hebben, want de mens is verwaand als hij gelooft volledig onafhankelijk zijn aardse leven vorm te kunnen geven.

De tegenstander van God zal zulke mensen steeds steunen, doordat hij deze verkeerde mening nog probeert te versterken en zodoende de mens ertoe zou willen brengen om zich te verzetten tegen de acceptatie, dat een werkelijke Godheid het heelal bestuurt en het lot van de individuele mens bepaalt. Deze mens ervaart zulke gedachten dan als last en bezwaardheid en daarom wijst hij deze af en gelooft zich van de Godheid vrij te kunnen maken, wanneer hij Haar afwijst. En hij bezondigt zich opnieuw tegen God, omdat hij de genade van de belichaming als mens niet benut, dus ook moeilijk de verbinding met God tot stand kan brengen en hij zo zijn aardse leven vergeefs leeft.
