The demon in man.... love's fiercest opponent....

The demon rules the world and its influence is noticeable in the actions and thoughts of mankind. Without shyness, it now commits the most despicable acts. It gives no account of what it does, but outdoes itself in the means of harming its neighbour. For it is the spirit of unkindness that drives them to act and think in this way. People are devoid of all love and this low level of their soul is reflected in their actions. They will never be constructive but always destructive, be it earthly or spiritually. They will want to suppress the truth and spread lies, they will suppress every spiritual trend but approve and favour everything that is hostile to faith, they will not respect property but try to seize it unlawfully. They will not shy away from any means that promise earthly advantage, even if they are despicable, for evil does not ask for justice and fairness but proceeds illegally and with violence. And people are already completely under the spell of evil, they have placed themselves under its power through their desire for earthly possessions, through their unloving nature and their self-love, and therefore the demon has good success with such a kind of humanity. For they fail to ask God for help against the enemy's power. Instead, it agrees to everything that the evil power demands, and so the divine moves further and further away from it. The separation between God and people becomes more and more visible, indeed, open action is taken against God and His followers. But where the activity of God's opposing power is so visibly evident, God also expresses Himself just as visibly in order to guide humanity back, He gives extraordinary evidence of His omnipotence and love by awakening people everywhere who proclaim His will to humanity. Yet how few realize this gift of grace and how few comply with the divine will.... What the world does, and thus through it the adversary, is accepted without resistance; however, what God offers people in His great love is first subjected to scrutiny and then often rejected because it is of no earthly benefit. And so the good fights against the demon in man, and if God did not want to help and clearly illuminate the adversary's work, humanity would be in danger of complete ruin. But God sets limits to the adversary's work.... He gives the inhabitants of the kingdom of light the task of taking care of misguided humanity and guiding it in such a way that it clearly recognizes the evil as evil and now seeks to serve God with the greatest devotion. And the power of evil will be broken and it will no longer have any influence on the thinking of people who have God within themselves, who love the truth, who believe and testify to their union with God through loving activity.... For these people recognize what is bad and want what is good, and thus they are stronger than the demon, for they have found the divine lord and saviour and the evil power bounces off them without effect.... love is predominant in them, because love is the demon's fiercest opponent....

El demonio en el hombre.... Amor como oponente más fuerte....

El demonio gobierna el mundo, y su influencia es notable en las acciones y el pensamiento de la humanidad. Sin timidez, este ahora lleva a cabo las acciones más despreciables. No se responsabiliza de lo que logra, sino que se supera a si misma al dañar al prójimo. Porque es el espíritu de falta de amor lo que los impulsa a actuar y pensar de esta manera. Las personas carecen de amor, y este punto bajo de su alma afecta sus acciones.

Nunca serán constructivos, sino siempre destructivos, ya sea terrenales o espirituales. Querrán expulsar la verdad y difundir la mentira, detendrán todas las corrientes espirituales, pero aprobarán y favorecerán todo lo hostil a la fe, no respetarán la propiedad, sino que tratarán ilegalmente de apoderarse de la propiedad. No rehuirán los medios que prometen ventajas terrenales, incluso si son despreciables, porque el mal no pide derecho y justicia, sino que actúa ilegalmente y con violencia.

Y las personas ya están completamente hechizadas por el mal, se han entregado ellas mismas a su poder a través de su deseo de posesiones terrenales, a través de su naturaleza sin amor y su amor propio y, por lo tanto, el demonio ha tenido un buen éxito con tal tipo de humanidad.

Porque esta no pide ayuda a Dios contra la violencia hostil. Más bien está de acuerdo con todo lo que exige el poder maligno, por lo que lo divino se aleja cada vez más de ella. La separación entre Dios y los seres humanos se está volviendo cada vez más visible, sí, hay un enfoque abierto hacia Dios y Sus seguidores.

Pero donde la obra del contrapoder de Dios es tan evidente, Dios también se expresa de manera tan visible para guiar a la humanidad de regreso. Da evidencia extraordinaria de Su omnipotencia y su amor a despertar a personas en todas partes que anuncian Su voluntad a la humanidad. Pero cuán pocos captan este don de gracia, y cuán pocos cumplen la voluntad divina.... Lo que hace el mundo y, por lo tanto, el adversario a través de él es aceptado sin resistencia; sin embargo, lo que Dios le ofrece al hombre en su gran amor se somete primero a un examen y luego a menudo se rechaza porque no tiene ningún beneficio terrenal.

Y así lucha lo bueno contra el demonio en el hombre, y si Dios no puede permanecer e iluminar claramente el obrar del adversario, entonces la humanidad estaría en peligro de su hundimiento completo. Pero Dios establece sus límites al trabajo del oponente.... Él da a los habitantes del reino de la luz la instrucción de cuidar a la humanidad guiada equivocadamente y dirigirla de tal manera que reconozca claramente lo malo como malo y ahora trate de servir a Dios con la mayor devoción.

Y el poder del mal se romperá y ya no tendrá ninguna influencia en el pensamiento de las personas que llevan a Dios dentro de sí, que son amantes de la verdad, creyentes y muestran su unión con Dios a través de una actividad amorosa.... Porque estas personas reconocen lo malo y quieren lo bueno, y, por lo tanto, son más fuertes que el demonio, porque ha encontrado al divino Señor y Salvador, y la fuerza del mal rebota en ellos ineficazmente.... El amor predomina en ellos, porque el amor es el oponente más fuerte del demonio....
