Positive and negative forces....

Under the influence of positive forces the development of all beingness has to be an upward striving one, because inflowing power has to lead that what is to perfection. And so the course of development of the being is always guaranteed as long as spiritually mature powers take care of it, while all immature spiritual influences the course of development in a negative way, because then the beingness separates itself from the source of power and becomes weaker in itself, therefore declines. For now a separation takes place in that the spiritual substance joins again with that which had already been its abode before, with matter, which is the most secure means of the spiritually immature beings.... And this connection must inevitably mean separation from the spiritual world, for both cannot exist at the same time. One must always be realized at the expense of the other. Thus, if good spiritual strength is denied access there is also no possibility to ascend, for then opposing forces immediately take possession of the being and pull it down into their realm.... just as, conversely, the being ascends incredibly quickly if no power is granted to those forces, whereas good spiritual strength is desired and therefore also received. Every good thought, every deed of love, every pious prayer and the will directed towards God are requirements of good spiritual strength, thus they already cause the effect of this and thus inevitably already result in the higher development of the being. The desire for earthly good, earthly pleasures, self-interest or unkindness, on the other hand, are unmistakably the work of evil forces; they can never lead upwards, but certainly into the abyss, because they have no constructive but a destructive influence on all beings and can therefore only mean decline for this spiritual being. And so it follows that everything good increases the spiritual in itself, but everything bad has a destructive effect. It also follows that every spiritual endeavour must be successful because the good spiritual is attracted by it, so to speak, and an increase of that which is spiritual substance in itself must take place. For the good strives towards each other, just as the bad seeks to unite, but both paths will be completely opposite, thus must lead to the highest height or the deepest depth, depending on whether the good or the bad forces are allowed access....

Fuerzas positivas y negativas....

Bajo la influencia de fuerzas positivas, el curso de desarrollo de todos lo que es esencial tiene que ser un esfuerzo ascendente, porque la fuerza entrante tiene que llevar todo, lo que es, a la perfección. Por lo tanto, el curso de desarrollo del ser siempre está garantizado, siempre y cuando las fuerzas espiritualmente maduras se ocupen de él, mientras que todo lo espiritual inmaduro influye negativamente en el curso del desarrollo, porque entonces el ser se separa de la fuente de poder y se vuelve más débil en sí mismo, es decir, retrocede. Porque ahora se produce una separación en la que la sustancial espiritual se reconecta con lo que antes era su morada, con la materia, que es el medio más seguro de los seres espirituales inmaduros....

Y esta conexión debe significar inevitablemente la separación del mundo espiritual, porque ambas cosas no pueden ser al mismo tiempo. Una siempre tiene que realizarse a expensas de la otra. Si entonces se le niega el acceso a la buena fuerza espiritual, no hay posibilidad de llegar a las alturas, porque entonces las fuerzas inmediatamente se apoderan del ser y lo arrastran hacia su área.... del mismo modo que, por el contrario, el ser logra elevarse increíblemente rápido cuando no se concede ningún poder a esas fuerzas, sino que al contrario se desea buena fuerza espiritual y, por tanto, también la recibirá.

Cada buen pensamiento, cada acto de amor, cada oración piadosa y la voluntad dirigida hacia Dios son requisitos del buen poder espiritual y, por tanto, también determinan el efecto de éste y, por tanto, conducen inevitablemente al mayor desarrollo del ser. El deseo por lo bienes terrenales, por las alegrías terrenas, del egoísmo y el desamor, en cambio, son equivocadamente obra de fuerzas malas; nunca puede conducir a las alturas, pero si al abismo, porque estas no tienen una influencia constructiva sino más bien destructiva sobre todo lo que es y, por lo tanto, sólo pueden significar decadencia para este ser espiritual.

De ahí se sigue que todo lo bueno aumenta lo espiritual en sí mismo, pero todo lo malo tiene un efecto destructivo. De esto se sigue también que todo esfuerzo espiritual tiene que tener éxito, porque lo espiritual bueno es atraído al respecto y ahora debe producirse un aumento de lo que es una sustancia espiritual en sí misma. Porque el bien se esfuerza el uno por el otro, así como el mal también trata de conectarse, pero ambos caminos será completamente opuestos y, por lo tanto, deben conducir a la altura más alta o a la profundidad más profunda, según sea bueno o malo, dependiendo de si se permite el acceso a las fuerzas buenas o malas....
