Divine will.... wise government....

The diversity of what God has created requires an extremely wise government, because every creation must fulfil its task, and everything must also be preserved and cared for. And the seemingly transient must become visible again in a new form. And so God directs and guides everything according to the wisest plan, and this guidance in the work of creation means even more than the creation of things themselves. What exists must live, i.e. be active.... Activity must have meaning and purpose. being active requires power, which must be constantly supplied to all creation. Nothing happens without a plan, nothing that is not founded in God's wisdom and love. And everything is guided by His will.... The divine will is the sceptre, it is expressed in everything that happens.... in everything that is and in everything that lives.... Everything must submit to His will if it does not want to forfeit His love and grace through its resistance and be banished from His neighbourhood. But submitting to His will is by no means a humiliation.... On the contrary, it is a sharing in His power and glory, whereas resisting is weakness and powerlessness and therefore results in a deplorable state. Creation harbours within itself the essence that strives towards God again and therefore submits to the divine will, albeit under a certain compulsion.... but it has already declared its willingness to comply with the divine will and was therefore added to the works of creation, which divine will brought into being for a purpose. There are countless worlds in the universe, and all of them have the one will before them.... which unites the deepest love, highest wisdom and greatest omnipotence in itself....

하나님의 뜻. 지혜로운 다스림.

하나님이 창조한 것의 다양성은 아주 지혜로운 다스림을 필요로 한다. 왜냐하면 모든 창조물이 자신의 과제를 완수해야만 하고, 모든 것이 또한 보존되야 하고, 돌봄을 받아야만 하기 때문이다. 겉으로 보기에는 쇠하는 것들은 새로운 형체 안에서 다시 나타나야 한다. 그러므로 하나님이 가장 지혜로운 계획에 따라 모든 것을 인도하고 지도한다. 이런 인도는 사물을 창조하는 일보다 창조물 안의 존재에 더 많은 의미가 있다. 존재하는 것은 살아야만 하고, 그러므로 활동해야만 한다. 이런 활동에는 의미와 목적이 있어야만 한다.

활동하기 위해서는 모든 피조물에게 지속적으로 공급되어야 하는 힘이 필요하다. 아무 일도 계획이 없이 일어나지 않고, 하나님의 지혜와 사랑에 근거하지 않은 일은 아무 일도 없다. 모든 일은 그의 뜻에 따라 인도된다. 하나님의 의지가 왕권이고, 하나님의 의지가 일어나는 모든 일에서, 존재하는 모든 것에서, 살아있는 모든 것에서, 나타난다. 자신의 저항을 통해, 하나님의 사랑과 은혜를 잃고, 하나님의 근처에서 추방되기 원하지 않는다면, 모든 것이 하나님의 뜻에 복종해야만 한다.

그러나 하나님의 뜻에 복종하는 일이 결코 굴욕을 당하는 일이 아니다. 그와 반대로 복종하는 일은 하나님의 권능과 영광에 참여하는 일이다. 반면에 저항하는 일은 약함과 힘이 없게 되고, 그로 인해 비참한 결과를 가져온다. 창조물 안에 영적인 존재가 들어 있다. 이런 영적인 존재들은 하나님을 향해 다시 추구하고 있고, 따라서 어떤 강요라고 할지라도 자신을 하나님의 뜻에 복종시킨다. 그러나 영적인 존재는 이미 하나님의 뜻을 따른다는 자세를 선언했고, 따라서 하나님의 의지가 목적을 위해 생성되게 한 창조물 안으로 배정을 받았다. 우주에는 셀 수 없이 많은 존재들이 있고, 이 모든 존재들 앞에 가장 깊은 사랑과 최고의 지혜와 최고의 전능함이 자신 안에서 하나가 된 분의 의지가 있다.
