Thinking ability and understanding of the world.... feeling of the heart....

It is not the ability to think which is decisive for the inner spiritual state of a person, and it is not the greatness of the worldly intellect which determines the soul's state of maturity, but only the degree of love of the person who, regardless of his earthly abilities and situation in life, tries to draw close to God and feels this desire in his deepest heart. And this truly requires neither worldly wisdom nor extraordinary intellectual activity, but everyone can cultivate the feeling of the heart, since it lies dormant in him as a seed and it is every person's own business to bring this seed to bloom, and every person also has the ability to do so.... Where else would God's justice be.... if He wanted to make the conditions for achieving perfection easier for one person and more difficult for another?.... The same opportunity and the same favours are available to all human beings, even though it may seem that the natural conditions are so different that they must therefore also lead to different developments. The simple, uncomplicated thinking of one person seems to have the advantage that faith is easier for him to accept.... on the other hand, however, the human being, whose intellectual thinking is exceptionally developed, is able to think through the miracles of divine creation in greater depth, and thus he, who has the opportunity to gain insight into God's creation in the most comprehensive way, could likewise become a believer if his arrogance did not prevent him from doing so through this intellectual knowledge, and this, in turn, is precisely a resistance which he must voluntarily overcome for the purpose of perfection.... The same conditions are imposed on all beings, and thus every being has to fight against the same weaknesses and faults, only some succeed in overcoming them in a shorter time, whereas others often succumb and thereby reinforce precisely these faults and thus require ever greater strength in order to be able to master them, and thus many an ugly characteristic will express itself more strongly because the fight against it was not directed at it from the start but had previously only contributed considerably to its increase and now all the greater resistance is required. Thus it never has any disadvantage on the soul's life or the possibility of the soul's maturing whether the human being's thinking moves in smaller or larger districts, for in the end only the heart's receptivity is decisive, but it is each individual's own business to develop it or to let it atrophy, for God's love has endowed all His earthly children with this ability and only left it up to the individual beings to utilize it according to their will....

Capacidade de raciocínio e compreensão do mundo.... Sentimento do coração....

Não é a capacidade de pensar que é decisiva para o estado espiritual interior de uma pessoa, e não é o tamanho do intelecto mundano que determina o estado de maturidade da alma, mas apenas o grau de amor da pessoa que, independentemente das suas capacidades terrenas e situação na vida, tenta aproximar-se de Deus e sente este desejo no seu coração mais profundo. E isso realmente não requer nem sabedoria mundana nem atividade mental extraordinária, mas todos podem cultivar o sentimento do coração, uma vez que ele adormece dentro dele como uma semente e cada pessoa tem o dever de trazer essa semente para florescer, e cada pessoa também possui a capacidade de fazer isso.... Onde mais poderia estar a justiça de Deus.... se Ele quer tornar as condições para alcançar a perfeição mais fáceis para uma pessoa e mais difíceis para outra?.... A mesma oportunidade e as mesmas vantagens estão disponíveis para todos os seres humanos, mesmo que possa parecer que as condições naturais são tão diferentes que também devem resultar em desenvolvimentos diferentes. O pensamento simples e descomplicado de um homem parece ter a vantagem de que a fé é mais facilmente aceitável para ele.... Por outro lado, porém, o ser humano cujo pensamento intelectual está excepcionalmente desenvolvido é capaz de pensar com maior profundidade através das maravilhas da criação divina e, assim, ele, que tem a oportunidade de obter uma visão mais ampla da criação de Deus, poderia igualmente tornar-se um crente se esse conhecimento intelectual não o impedisse de o fazer devido à sua arrogância, e essa arrogância, por sua vez, é precisamente uma resistência que ele tem de superar voluntariamente com o propósito de perfeição.... As mesmas condições são colocadas sobre todos os seres, e assim todo ser tem que lutar contra as mesmas fraquezas e falhas, apenas alguns conseguem superá-las em um tempo mais curto, enquanto outros muitas vezes sucumbem e assim reforçam precisamente essas falhas e assim requerem cada vez mais força para poder dominá-las, e assim muitas características feias serão, portanto, expressas mais fortemente porque a luta contra ela não se aplicou a ela desde o início, mas apenas contribuiu consideravelmente para o seu aumento antes e agora toda a maior resistência é necessária. Assim, nunca tem qualquer desvantagem na vida da alma ou na possibilidade de a alma amadurecer, quer o pensamento do ser humano se mova em distritos menores ou maiores, pois em última análise só a capacidade do coração de receber é decisiva, mas é da responsabilidade de cada indivíduo desenvolvê-la ou deixá-la atrofiar, pois o amor de Deus dotou todos os Seus filhos terrenos desta capacidade e só a deixou aos seres individuais para a usarem de acordo com a sua vontade....
