Prayer.... power of the spirit....

Being in direct contact with spiritual strength promotes the spiritual development of the soul immensely, which urgently needs support in its imperfect state. Consciously asking for this strength is of inestimable value and must therefore also produce clearly recognizable results. An incorrigible denier of this strength, however, does not find the support and his soul's state is inevitably affected by it; i.e. the soul is not offered the opportunity to raise itself, it cannot develop and thus remains what it was before it animated the human body. And this again explains why people's spiritual state is so low. It can be explained that precisely the human being who relies on his own strength no longer progresses but always remains in the same state and therefore his life can be called a useless one if he does not receive enlightenment from one side. Thus the human being must first be made aware that he has unlimited strength at his disposal, but that this strength will only manifest itself when the human being expresses his will to receive it through his prayer, and thus he will now be considered even if he is still faced with resistance. This strength gradually penetrates his soul uninfluenced by earthly obstacles such that it perceptibly notices the relief, that from now on it believes itself to stand in the light, that it eagerly follows a certain path which promises it the goal for certain.... and that it is now suddenly illuminated by this light, which is eternal truth. It no longer seeks, for it has found.... it does not doubt, for it believes.... it does not enquire, for it knows.... It accepts everything that the spirit proclaims in it, and thus the divine power expresses itself in it and now makes it easy for it to ascend upwards. This power is therefore never a phantom, it is rather perceptible and of such extraordinary effect that it is already recognizable purely externally.... for the whole external life of the human being also takes on other forms.... Man simply cannot remain in the old if the power of the spirit is at work in him. It causes everything to progress, both the development of the soul and physically a greater sensitivity for everything that is spiritual.... and thus it makes the human being suitable for spiritual vision and experience.... It makes the soul receptive to all that is high and pure, it guides it into higher spheres and opens its eyes to all that is perfect.... for it will one day have the same mission and must therefore experience an everlasting increase.... It must desire to stand in the light and must not hide this light under a bushel, so that it may shine in the neighbourhood and thus serve as a signpost, as it were, for those who are still going astray....

기도. 영의 힘.

영의 힘과 직접 연결되는 일은, 불완전한 상태에서 긴급히 지원을 필요로 하는 혼의 영적 성장을 촉진하는 일을 크게 지원한다. 이 힘을 향한 의식적인 요청은 헤아릴 수 없을 만큼 가치가 있다. 그러므로 분명하게 알아볼 수 있는 결과를 보여줘야만 한다. 그러나 변함없이 이 힘을 부정하는 사람은 지원을 받지 못하고, 그의 영의 상태는 필연적으로 이 힘을 부인함으로 인한 영향을 받는다. 즉, 혼에게 자신을 높은 곳으로 향하게 할 기회가 주어지지 않는다. 혼은 자신을 성장시킬 수 없고, 혼이 인간의 몸 안에서 살기 전의 상태로 머문다.

여기에서 이제 사람들의 영의 상태가 왜 그렇게 낮은 수준에 있는 지에 대한 설명을 찾을 수 있다. 그 이유는 사람이 자신의 힘을 의지하고, 더 이상 성장하지 않고, 항상 같은 상태에 머물러 있기 때문이다. 그러므로 한편에서 그에게 알려주지 않으면, 그의 삶은 쓸모 없는 삶이라고 할 수 있다. 그러므로 인간은 먼저 그가 무한한 힘을 사용할 수 있다는 가르침을 받아야만 하고, 그러나 이 힘은 사람이 기도를 통해 받고자 하는 의지를 표현할 때 비로소 나타난다는 가르침을 받아야만 한다. 따라서 그가 그래도 반발에 대항한다면, 그는 이제 도움을 받는다.

이런 힘이 이 땅의 장애물에 영향을 받지 않고 그의 혼 안으로 임한다. 이로써 혼이 느낄 수 있게 수월해지게 되고, 혼이 이제 자신이 빛 속에서 있다고 여기고, 혼에게 분명하게 목표를 약속하는 특정한 길을 열심히 추구하고, 혼이 이제 영원한 진리 인이 빛에 의해 갑자기 깨우침을 받게 된다. 혼은 더 이상 구하지 않는다. 왜냐하면 혼이 발견했기 때문이다. 혼은 믿기 때문에 의심하지 않는다. 혼은 알고 있기 때문에 연구하지 않는다. 혼은 영이 자신에게 선포하는 모든 것을 영접한다. 그러므로 하나님의 힘이 혼 안에서 자신을 나타내고, 이제 혼이 정상에 오르는 일을 쉽게 해준다. 따라서 이 힘은 결코 유령이 아니다. 이 힘은 오히려 느낄 수 있고, 또한 순전히 외적으로 이미 알아볼 수 있는 놀라운 효과를 가지고 있다. 왜냐하면 인간의 외적인 삶도 또한 다른 형태를 취하기 때문이다.

영의 힘이 사람 안에서 역사할 때, 그는 단순히 이전의 상태에 머물 수 없다. 영의 힘이 역사하여, 혼의 성장뿐만 아니라, 육체의 성장을 포함해 모든 것을 성장하게 하고, 모든 영적인 존재들에 대해 민감함을 더 크게 해준다. 따라서 영적으로 보고, 체험하는 일이 사람에게 일어난다. 영의 힘은 혼이 높고 순수한 모든 것을 받아들이게 한다. 영의 힘이 혼을 더 높은 영역으로 인도하고, 온전한 모든 것에 대한 시선을 열어준다. 왜냐하면 언젠가는 혼이 같은 사명을 받게 될 것이고, 그러므로 계속되는 성장을 체험해야만 하기 때문이다. 혼은 빛 안에 거하기를 갈망해야만 한다. 혼은 이 빛을 등경 아래 두어서는 안 된다. 이로써 빛이 주변을 비추게 해야 한다. 다시 말해 아직 오류에 빠진 사람들의 안내자 역할을 해야 한다.
