Shackles of the soul.... state of suffering.... Saulus - Paulus....

The soul's desire is to be released from all suffering, for it is in a fettered state as long as it is still attached to earthly goods. Thus, on the one hand it desires the latter and thus creates the oppressive state for itself, but on the other hand it longs for final liberation and is grateful for every help which applies to the loosening of its fetters. And thus it is always its own will whether it gives in to the desire for earthly good or renounces this.... and accordingly its state will also be more or less free. But once it has perceived how much lighter and freer it feels when it has tamed its desire and voluntarily renounced it, its will is also stronger and it now consciously strives for this freer state, for a visible change is now taking place and the good spiritual forces are now also at its disposal. These seek to increase the soul's striving by presenting all spiritual advantages to the soul and are only ever concerned to weaken the desire for earthly good, for matter, and to keep the sense for spiritual truths awake, and thus a total change can become noticeable, a Saul can become a Paul, and a soul which hitherto indulged in earthly pleasures can renounce all these and now only strive to do justice to the spiritual task. Such a transformation is always the result of a previous spiritual upheaval.... It can be preceded by earthly suffering, but it can also be the sudden realization as a result of a heartfelt prayer which was sent up to the father of the universe by a fellow human being in love for this soul in order to support the soul in the earthly fight.... in fight for life in eternity, for such a prayer was sent up to the heavenly father entirely unselfishly and therefore already has the strength within itself, since love was the motive.... Love must now have a redeeming effect on the earthly child, and the soul feels this very well.... it feels the relief, and now it becomes easier for it to continue on the path it has taken, because it recognizes the benefit and now also becomes active of ist own accord. The soul’s striving will only apply to spiritual life and it will henceforth declare war on all matter, and although it still comes into contact with it far too often as a human being it will now be able to renounce it with a light heart and only live for liberation from its shackles, in the knowledge that this is the greatest necessity and that its life on earth should only apply to this striving....

Grilhões da alma.... Suffering.... Saul - Paul....

O desejo da alma é ser libertada de todo sofrimento, pois ela está num estado de restrição enquanto ainda está presa aos bens terrenos. Assim, por um lado, deseja este último e assim cria para si o estado opressivo, mas, por outro, anseia pela libertação final e agradece toda ajuda que se aplique ao afrouxamento dos seus grilhões. E assim é sempre a sua própria vontade se ela cede ao desejo do bem terreno ou renuncia a esta.... e assim o seu estado também será mais ou menos livre. Mas uma vez que percebeu o quanto se sente mais leve e livre quando domou seu desejo e renunciou voluntariamente a ele, sua vontade também é mais forte e agora se esforça conscientemente por esse estado mais livre, pois agora uma mudança visível está ocorrendo e as boas forças espirituais também estão agora à sua disposição. Estes procuram aumentar o esforço da alma, apresentando-lhe todas as vantagens espirituais e preocupam-se apenas em enfraquecer o desejo do bem terreno, da matéria, e em manter desperto o sentido das verdades espirituais, e assim uma mudança total pode tornar-se perceptível, um Saulo pode tornar-se um Paulo, e uma alma que até agora se entregava aos prazeres terrenos pode renunciar a tudo isso e agora apenas se esforça por fazer justiça à tarefa espiritual. Tal transformação é sempre o resultado de uma convulsão espiritual anterior..... Pode ser precedido pelo sofrimento terreno, mas também pode ser a realização súbita como resultado de uma oração sentida que foi enviada com amor por esta alma por um semelhante ao Pai do Universo, a fim de ajudar a alma na luta terrestre.... na batalha pela vida na eternidade, pois tal prece foi enviada ao Pai celeste de forma totalmente altruísta e, portanto, já tem a força dentro de si, já que o amor foi o motivo.... O amor deve agora ter um efeito redentor sobre a criança terrestre, e a alma sente isso muito bem.... sente o alívio, e agora também se torna mais fácil para si continuar no caminho escolhido, pois reconhece o benefício e agora também se torna activo por si mesmo. O esforço da alma só se aplicará à vida espiritual e doravante declarará guerra a toda a matéria, e embora como ser humano ainda entre em contacto com ela com demasiada frequência, poderá agora renunciar-lhe com um coração leve e viver apenas para se libertar dos seus grilhões, na consciência de que esta é a maior necessidade e de que a sua vida na Terra só se deve aplicar a este esforço....
