Sammeln geistiger Güter.... Bauwerk.... Grundmauern....

Dessen sollt ihr immer gewiß sein, daß der Vater im Himmel euer Flehen erhört, so es dem Heil eurer Seele gilt. Ihr müsset euch aber allzeit befleißigen, die Sünde zu meiden und Gottes Willen nachzukommen, und dann ist euch auch die göttliche Hilfe sicher, verheißet doch der Herr denen Seinen Segen, die nach Ihm trachten. Je inniger sich euer Herz dem göttlichen Heiland zuwendet, desto reichlicher bedenket euch der Herr, und so ihr euer Erdenleben in ständiger Verbindung mit Ihm lebt, fließet göttliche Gnade euch ungemessen zu, denn es will der Vater im Himmel euch geben alles, was euer Herz begehrt.... Wieviel mehr, so euer Sehnen Ihm allein gilt.... Die Vaterliebe umfaßt euch alle und ist immer zu geben bereit. Doch wer Seiner nicht achtet, (der wird = d. Hg.) dann dieser Liebe nicht teilhaftig werden, und sein Leben auf Erden wird der Seele wenig Vorteil eintragen. Ein nennenswerter Erfolg aber ist es, so der Mensch sich, seiner Kraft aus Gott bewußt, jederzeit dem Vater anvertrauen, Ihn befragen und Antwort erhalten kann.... Er sammelt so Gut um Gut für seine Seele, er sammelt, was Bestand hat bis in alle Ewigkeit, er läßt ein Bauwerk erstehen, unvergleichlich wertvoll und beglückend, er baut sich gleichsam sein geistiges Heim aus und fügt Stein um Stein zusammen, denn der göttliche Baumeister Selbst unterweiset ihn und sorget, daß fest und unzerstörbar sind die Grundmauern und daß der Mensch nicht Gefahr laufet, in grundlosem Boden zu versinken.... Und so strebet vor allem nach innerster Verbundenheit mit Gott, auf daß ihr würdig werdet Seiner väterlichen Betreuung und niemals ohne Hilfe bleibt.... Denn es liebt der Vater Seine Kinder, und Er steht ihnen bei in jeder Not....

Gathering spiritual goods.... building.... foundation walls....

You should always be certain that the father in heaven will hear your plea if it concerns the salvation of your soul. However, you must always endeavour to avoid sin and do God's will, and then you will also be assured of divine help, for the lord promises His blessing to those who seek Him. The more intimately your heart turns to the divine saviour, the more abundantly the lord will provide for you, and if you live your earthly life in constant contact with Him, divine grace will flow to you unmeasured, for the father in heaven will give you everything your heart desires.... How much more, if your longing is for Him alone.... The father's love embraces you all and is always ready to give. Yet anyone who does not pay attention to Him will not partake of this love and his life on earth will be of little benefit to his soul. But it is a notable success if the human being, conscious of his strength from God, can entrust himself to the father at any time, question Him and receive an answer.... In this way he gathers good after good for his soul, he gathers what will last for all eternity, he lets a building arise, incomparably valuable and happy, he builds his spiritual home as it were and puts together stone after stone, for the divine master builder Himself instructs him and ensures that the foundation walls are firm and indestructible and that the human being does not run the risk of sinking into groundless soil.... And so strive above all for the most inner bond with God, so that you become worthy of His fatherly care and never remain without help.... For the father loves His children and stands by them in every adversity....
