Aardse maatregelen – Voorbeschikking van God - Nood en onheil

Alles volgt volgens Gods wijsheid de weg naar zijn bestemming. En als de wereld gelooft eigenmachtig te kunnen handelen, dan zal ze dit weliswaar in zoverre doen, als de vrije wil daartoe gemachtigd is, maar voor de individuen zal dit handelen steeds een uitwerking hebben volgens Gods wil. Er kunnen dus steeds opnieuw maatregelen getroffen worden. Deze zullen steeds alleen dan de mens treffen, wanneer dit door God toegelaten wordt en dus hoeft degene, die zich innig met de Vader verbindt, nooit te vrezen, want Zijn bescherming zal het mensenkind behoeden voor elk kwaad.

Alleen die mensen, die tegen de goddelijke Heer in opstand komen, vallen aan de aardse voorschriften ten offer. Want zij moeten door de druk en hardheid van menselijke zijde om hulp hiertegen vragen en daarom zijn deze druk en hardheid ook toegelaten, ofschoon ze in zichzelf niet de goedkeuring van de goddelijke Heer hebben.

Hoe meer nu het gewoel van de wereld zich richt op aardse interesses, des te oppervlakkiger zal het denken van de mensen zijn en des te minder zal God zijn wil tegenover het aardse gewoel zetten, dat door dwang en hardheid de mensheid in nood en ellende stort. Zolang de geest van de liefde niet op aarde heerst, zal er ook geen verbetering te behalen zijn en rampspoed en nood zullen de enige middelen zijn, die de mensen gezond verstand brengen en naar het geloof in een ware God van liefde leiden.

De mensen proberen op alle denkbare manieren in het bezit van goederen te komen, omdat ze deze goederen als het hoogste doel van hun streven op aarde beschouwen. En des te meer brengen ze de ziel in het gevaar helemaal verloren te gaan.

Bij alle nood van de ziel is slechts één middel te gebruiken, namelijk door grote lichamelijke nood in de staat van volledige hulpeloosheid te komen, opdat voor de mens dan in de donkerste nacht een schijnsel van helder licht straalt, hij deze volgt en bij een goede wil helemaal verlicht kan worden. En dus kan de Godheid jullie niet geheel voor lichamelijke nood en onheil behoeden, zolang jullie je niet bezinnen over jezelf, over jullie aardse opdracht en over jullie verhouding tot de hemelse Vader.

Denk in tijden van nood aan deze woorden en roep naar de Vader. In Zijn barmhartigheid zal Hij altijd de roep uit de diepte horen en jullie uit alle onheil redden, als jullie niet alleen maar om jullie lichamelijke, maar in de eerste plaats om het welzijn van jullie ziel bezorgd zijn. Want alleen daarom laat de Vader al het leed over jullie losbreken. Maar Hij zal het ook van jullie wegnemen, wanneer de ziel het beseft heeft en het aardse leven voor de mens niet meer van waarde is, maar hij daarentegen vreest voor zijn zielenheil. Dan zal de Vader ingrijpen en jullie zonder schade uit alle nood tevoorschijn laten komen en jullie zullen het lijden zegenen, dat jullie redding van de eeuwige dood tot stand gebracht heeft en het loven en danken van God zal geen einde kennen.

Earthly dispositions.... God's destiny.... Distress and calamity....

Everything goes the course of it's destiny according to God's wisdom, and if the world believes to be able to act on it's own authority, it will indeed do so as far as it is authorized to do so by free will, but this action will always have an effect on the individual according to God's will. Therefore decrees can still be made and yet..... These will only ever affect the human being if such is permitted by God, and thus he who closely unites himself with the Father need never fear, for his protection will protect the earth child from every evil.

Only those people fall victim to the earthly orders who rebel against the Divine Lord, because these have to ask for help against it from above by pressure and hardness on the part of man, and therefore those are also admitted although they do not find the approval of the Divine Lord in themselves. The more the hustle and bustle of the world turns to earthly interests, the more shallow will people's thinking be.... and the less will God oppose His will to the hustle and bustle of the world, which through compulsion and hardship, plunges mankind into distress and misery. As long as the spirit of love does not rule on earth, no improvement can be achieved, and tribulation and hardship will be the only means to bring people to their senses and to direct them to faith in a true God of love.

People try in every possible way to put themselves in possession of goods, because they regard these goods as the epitome of their striving on earth. And the more they drive the soul into the danger of losing itself completely. With all the distress of the soul, only one means is to be used, to come into the state of complete helplessness through great bodily distress, so that a glow of bright light may then shine on man in the darkest night, he may pursue it and, with good will, be completely enlightened. And so the Divinity cannot protect you completely from physical misery and disaster until you reflect on yourselves, on your earthly task and on your relationship with the heavenly Father.

Remember these words in times of trouble and call to the Father..... In His mercy, He will at all times hear the call from the depths and save you from all harm, if you are concerned not only about your physical well-being, but first about your spiritual well-being. For this alone the Father lets all suffering come upon you.... but will also take it away from you when the soul has recognized and the earthly life is not of value to man, whereas he fears for his soul's salvation.... Then the Father will intervene and let you come out of all hardship without harm, and you will bless the suffering that brought about your salvation from eternal death, and there will be no end to praise and thanksgiving to God....
