모든 삶의 환경 속에서 혼은 성장할 수 있다.

너희의 이 땅의 삶이 어떻게 형성되어 있는지는 단지 내 의지에 달려 있다. 내가 영원으로부터 너희가 인간으로서 이 땅에 살 동안 어떻게 너희 의지를 사용할지를 알기 때문이다. 내 의지에 따라 너희가 올바른 방향을 너희 의지를 사용할 수 있게 영향을 주는 방식으로 모든 일들이 너희에게 일어난다.

겉으로 보기에는 너희 스스로 너희의 삶의 형편을 만들어 가는 것 같지만 너희에게 이러 저러한 환경에서 속에서 너희를 움직이게 하는 고난, 위험들과 운명적인 체험들이 마찬가지로 너희에게 항상 일어나게 된다. 너희는 나로부터 너희가 이 땅에서의 목적을 이룰 수 있게 너희가 온전하게 될 수 있게 항상 최대한의 기회를 받는다. 그러므로 너희는 분명한 평안함으로 가지고 생을 영위해 나갈 수 있다.

그러므로 너희가 가난하던 부자이던, 아름답게 생겼건 신체적으로 장애가 있건 너의 혼의 성장에는 아무 상관이 없다. 왜냐면 모든 장점들과 단점들은 너희가 열심히 혼에 대한 작업을 하게 이것이 너희에게 자극이 되어 너희의 혼의 작업을 게을리하게 하는데 기여하기 때문이다. 외부에서 너희에게 다가오는 모든 형태의 것들, 즉 체험들, 운명적인 사건들, 질병, 궁핍함 또는 세상적인 부유함, 유명세, 명성, 세상 권세 이런 것에 영향을 받을 지가 항상 너희 자신에게 너희의 의지에 따라 달려 있다.

모든 것이 너희에게 해가 될 수 있고 모든 것이 너희에게 득이 될 수 있다. 모든 것이 너희가 너희 인생을 사는 동안 나에 대해 어떠한 자세를 가지고 있는지가 유일하게 결정적이다. 너희가 영적인 영향을 받아들일지 너희의 인생을 너희의 의지를 시험하는 것으로 여길지 너희의 인생을 목적을 위한 수단으로 여길지 너희의 인생을 너희에게 생명을 주신 분의 은혜의 선물로 여길 지가 결정적이다.

너희가 너희의 육체만을 중요하게 여기지 않을지 또는 진지하게 너희의 혼의 행복을 위해 애를 쓸지가 유일하게 결정적이다. 혼을 위해 애를 쓴다면, 너희 앞에 다가오는 모든 것이 너희에게 축복이 될 것이다. 너희는 싹에 싹이 터 나오듯이 위로 인도하는 사다리를 타고 올라가는 것처럼 성장할 것이며 너희 혼이 이 땅을 벗어 났을 때 높은 목표에 도달하는 데 도움을 받을 것이다.

그러므로 이 모든 것 가운데 내가 너희가 나로부터 멀리 떨어져 살기 때문에 너희를 온전하게 만들려는 내 뜻에 맞는 인생을 살기 위해는 나에 대한 올바른 관점을 가져야만 하는 너희를 나에게 끌기 위한 목적을 이루고 있다는 것을 인식하면서 태연하게 받아들여라. 사람들이 전적으로 나로부터 멀어질 위험에 있으면 나는 예외적으로 힘든 인생의 운명을 주는 방법을 써야만 한다. 내가 강제적으로 부숴 버릴 수 없는 나에 대한 큰 적대감을 세상의 큰 위험을 통해 줄어들게 만들고 나를 향한 올바른 길에 들어서게 자극하기 위한 것이다. 이는 올바른 방향을 잡은 의지를 알게 한다.

왜냐면 만약에 그가 자신을 전적으로 나에게 드리고 내가 그를 위해 생각하고 행하게 함으로서 나 자신이 공개적으로 인생의 길잡이가 되면 그에게는 아무 책임이 없다. 의지의 변화를 일으키는 도움이 되는 것들은 좋은 것이다. 비록 고난스럽고 견딜 수 없게 보일 지라도 혼에게는 고난이 아니고 행복한 것이요 복된 것이다. 왜냐면 혼은 성장하게 되고 내 간접적인 도움이 없이는 이루기 힘든 목적을 이룬다.

왜냐면 나는 모든 각 사람의 의지를 안다. 그러므로 나는 누구를 예외적인 은혜의 선물로 도와야 할지 누가 이 선물을 올바르게 사용해 이로부터 큰 축복에 이를지를 안다. 그러면 나는 심하지 않은 수단으로 그의 혼을 얻을 수 가 있다. 왜냐면 그의 인간으로 육신을 입을 때 혼에 큰 지배력을 행사하던 적대감이 굉장히 줄어 들었기 때문이다. 그러면 내 돕는 방식이 고통스러운 것일 필요 없다. 작은 자극만으로도 그가 그의 이 땅에서의 인생의 목적을 기억하고 이를 이루려고 노력하며 올바른 길로 가게 하는데 충분하다.

그에게 여전히 주어진 고난이나 위험은 쉽게 견딜 수 있다. 그는 나와 이미 연결되어 있기 때문에 나로부터 그의 성장을 아주 쉽게 만들어 주는 능력을 항상 받을 수 있기 때문이다. 한 사람의 외적인 생활환경은 그의 혼을 형성에 나가는데 아무 상관이 없다. 종종 힘든 삶의 환경이 성장하는데 위험요소가 될 수 있는 쉽고 세상적을 축복을 받은 자보다 그의 혼에는 더욱 좋은 영향을 미친다. 어떤 운명도 그 안에서 사랑과 지혜와 능력인 권세를 믿는 자 에게는 견딜 수 없게 어렵지 않다. 그가 믿기 때문에 이 권세에게 도움을 구하고 이를 확실히 받을 것이다. 왜냐면 그는 그의 인생에서 확실하게 성장을 보장하는 나에 대한 올바른 자세를 가지고 있기 때문이다.

All circumstances of life offer opportunities to mature....

How your earthly life turns out is entirely determined by My will, because I have known from the very beginning which direction your will is going to take during the time of your earthly life as a human being. And according to this will all events will happen to you such that they can influence you to direct your will correctly. So even if you apparently shape your own circumstances of life you will nevertheless be affected by the same measure of suffering and adversities, by destined experiences, regardless of what kind of living conditions you have. And therefore you can go through life with a certain composure since I will, after all, always provide you with the greatest possibility to reach your goal of attaining perfection on earth. Consequently, it is entirely irrelevant for your soul's development as to whether you are poor or rich, whether you are nicely shaped or have physical defects, for all advantages as well as your disadvantages can contribute towards your eager work of improving your soul, just as they can equally be the reason for you to neglect this psychological work.... For it always depends on yourselves, on your will, as to what extent you allow yourselves to be influenced by everything that approaches you externally in the form of experiences, strokes of fate, illnesses and all kinds of adversities but also of wealth, fame, honour and earthly power.... Everything can be detrimental and everything can be beneficial to you.... It depends entirely on what kind of attitude towards Me you find in earthly life.... It depends entirely on whether you allow yourselves to be spiritually influenced, whether you are able to look upon your earthly life as a test of your will, as a means to an end, as a gift of grace by the One Who brought you to life.... It depends entirely on whether you not only place importance on your body or are seriously concerned about your soul.... If the latter is the case then everything will be a blessing for you, no matter what comes upon you, and you will climb the ladder which leads to ascent step by step which helps you to reach higher spheres until you reach the goal when your soul will leave the earthly body.... This is why you should unperturbedly accept everything, always in the knowledge that I thereby intend to attract those of you to Me who are still distant from Me and yet need to find the right attitude towards Me in order to subsequently live your life on earth according to My will, which lets you achieve perfection....

And when there is a risk of people being entirely distant from Me, then I must indeed use means which are described as an unusually severe destiny of life, yet they are always based on the fact that an unusual resistance towards Me still exists, which I cannot forcibly break but which can recede in view of the immense earthly adversity, which can subsequently push the human being onto the right path to Me and thus show a correctly inclined will, which signifies everything for the person, for then I Myself will be able to take evident charge of his earthly life, and the human being will be truly relieved from all responsibility if he completely hands himself over to Me and lets Me think and act on his behalf.... So everything that can contribute towards a change of will is good, even if it appears to be distressing and unbearable, yet it is not distressing for the soul but fortunate and a blessing, for it matures and reaches that goal which, on its own.... without My indirect help.... it would hardly be able to attain. For I know every individual person's will. And thus I also know to whom I can bestow exceptional gifts of grace, who will use these correctly and derive the most blessings from them.... In that case, I will win this soul over to Me with less severe means, because the resistance, which in the beginning of the embodiment as a human being still firmly controls the soul, will have already considerably lessened.... In that case My means of help need no longer be so painful, slight impulses will suffice that the person will take the right paths, that he will recognise his purpose of earthly life and makes an effort to do justice to it.... And the suffering or adversities which are still imposed on him will be easy to endure, for then the person will already have established the connection with Me and through this connection he constantly receives strength from Me, which makes his ascent considerably easier.... Thus, a person's external circumstances of life are irrelevant for the shaping of his soul.... In fact, difficult situations in life often have more favourable effects on his soul than an easier and worldly-blessed life on earth, which is more likely to be a danger to its maturing.... However, no destiny is so severe that it could not be endured by a person who believes in a Power Which is love, wisdom and might in Itself, for if he believes he will turn to this Power for help, and he will indeed receive it.... For then he will already have the right attitude towards Me and that will certainly guarantee his full maturing on earth....
