믿음의 위험과 하나님의 도움.

온 세상에서 하나님의 음성을 들을 수 있게 될 것이다. 이로써 모든 사람이 창조의 주님을 깨닫고, 그를 두려워하는 법을 배워야 한다. 왜냐면 주님은 실제 사랑의 하나님이기 때문이다. 그러나 그의 사랑이 존중받지 못하는 곳에서, 그는 엄중한 하나님이 되어, 엄한 목소리로 사람들에게 말할 것이다. 그러면 하나님께 향해야 할 시간이다. 왜냐하면 그의 마지막 훈계 뒤에, 사람들이 아직 광범위하게 사용할 수 있는 짧은 은혜의 시간이 아직 있기 때문이다.

이때가 고통스럽고 힘든 때가 될 것이다. 왜냐면 사람들이 궁핍하게 되어야만 하고, 새로운 생활 형편에 완전히 적응해야만 하기 때문이다. 그들은 즐거움은 적고, 반면에 더 많이 수고하고, 일해야 하는 빈약한 삶에 만족해야만 하게 될 것이다. 그들은 이런 삶을 견딜 수 있다고 믿지 않을 것이고, 그들이 하나님 안에서 의지할 곳을 찾지 못한다면, 모든 의지할 곳을 잃게 될 것이다. 그러면 사람들 가운데 구별이 일어날 것이고, 그들의 상황을 생각하고 하나님께 더 가까이 다가가는 사람들과 모든 믿음을 버리고, 하나님과 영적인 추구와 관련된 모든 것을 부인하는 사람들로 나뉠 것이다. 그러나 아직 하나님께 가는 길을 찾는 소수의 사람들 때문에 아직 이 땅에 은혜의 시간이 주어지고, 기록이 된대로 이루어지게 된다.

영을 떠난 세상이 이제 소수의 믿는 사람의 믿음을 버리게 하기 위해 그들을 대항하여 싸우고, 세상은 자신의 목표를 달성하기 위해 모든 수단을 사용한다. 왜냐면 세상은 하나님을 믿는 믿음을 옛 생활 형편을 회복하기 위해 수행해야 할 부끄러운 계획을 방해하는 장애물로 여기기 때문이다. 그러므로 세상은, 세상에 헌신하고 세상의 부와 즐거움만을 위해 추구하는 사람들은 모든 믿음을 근절시키기를 원하고, 이를 위해 모든 수단을 사용하는 일에 주저하지 않는다. 그들은 믿는 사람들에게서 모든 양식을 박탈하고, 권리를 보장하지 않는다. 그들은 다른 적들보다 더 잔인하게 믿은 사람들에 대항하여 싸우고, 이를 통해 그들이 믿음을 버리게 하려고 시도한다.

이때가 하나님이 사람들의 믿음에 높은 요구를 하는 때이고, 자신의 믿음을 증명해야 하는 곳에서, 위대한 일을 일으키게 될 때이다. 왜냐면 하나님은 자신의 공동체를 떠나지 않기 때문이다. 하나님은 큰 위험에 빠진 자신의 공동체를 돕고, 공동체가 단지 믿음으로 자신을 신뢰한다면, 공동체를 잘 부양할 것이다. 모든 것을 박탈당한 사람들이 자주 놀랍도록 강하게 될 것이다. 그들은 하나님으로부터 직접 권능을 받게 될 것이고, 권능의 원천은 하나님이고, 다가오는 때에도 또한 하나님으로 남게 될 것이다. 이 때가 인간의 믿음에 큰 요구를 하지만, 또한 풍성한 은혜가 제공이 될 것이다. 왜냐면 하나님의 권세와 힘과 사랑이 드러날 것이기 때문이다.

Need for faith and God's help....

The voice of God will be heard throughout the world so that all people will recognize the lord of creation and learn to fear Him. For He is indeed a God of love, but where His love is not respected He will be a God of severity and speak to people with an iron voice. And then there is still time to turn to Him, for a short time of grace still follows this last admonition of His, which people can still make extensive use of. This time will indeed be bitter and hard, for people will have to live in want and completely adapt to the living conditions that will now arise. They will have to be modest with a meagre life, which will be little enjoyment and all the more toil and labour. And they will not believe they can endure such a life and will lose all support if they do not find it in God. And then people will separate again into those who will be brought closer to God by thinking about their situation and those who will then drop all faith and deny everything that has to do with God and spiritual endeavour. But for the sake of the few who still find God, this time of grace is still given to earth.... And it is fulfilled as it is written.... The spiritless world is now fighting against the few believers in order to dissuade them from their faith, and it is using every means to achieve its goal. For it sees faith in God as an obstacle, an impediment to its nefarious plans, which are to be carried out to restore the old living conditions. And so the world, i.e. the people who are devoted to the world and only strive for worldly wealth and pleasure, wants to eradicate all faith, and any means will do. They deprive the believers of all food and deny them legal assistance, they fight against them more cruelly than one enemy against another and thereby try to make them fall away from the faith. And this is the time when God makes great demands on people's faith.... where faith is to prove itself and bring about great things. For God will not abandon His church, He will stand by it in this great adversity and He will provide for it if only it faithfully trusts Him. And those who have been deprived of everything will often be wonderfully strengthened, they will receive strength from God directly and they will draw it from the word of God, which is and will remain a source of strength even in this coming time, which will certainly make great demands on people's faith but will also be abundant in grace.... for God's might and power and love will be revealed....
