의지가 없고, 부족한 깨달을 수 있는 능력.

영적으로 깨달을 능력이 없는 일은 영적 질문에 대한 입장을 취하려는 의지가 없기 때문이다. 세상의 문제도 사람이 항상 계속해서 세상의 문제를 다루고, 그 문제를 깊이 파악하려고 노력해야만 해결할 수 있다. 그러나 영적인 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 깊은 몰입과 질문에 대한 해답을 얻으려는 의지가 필요하다. 모든 대답은 이전에 질문이 필요하다. 질문은 다시 깨달음을 향한 열망을 증명하고, 깨달음을 향한 열망이 또한 깨닫을 수 있는 능력을 증명한다. 이런 깨달을 수 있는 능력이 없이는 인간이 진리를 진리로 자신의 내면으로 영접할 수 없다.

그러나 어떤 의지의 부족으로 무관심을 초래하는 곳에서는 설명이 전혀 주목을 받지 못하게 될 것이다. 따라서 사람이 힘을 원할 때, 사람에게 확실히 힘이 흘러가지만, 힘을 요구하지 않는 사람에게는 힘을 전달할 수 없다. 영적인 흐름은 주목을 받기를 원한다. 영적인 흐름은 사람들에게 무차별적으로 흐르지 않고, 단지 자원하여 자신을 여는 사람이 이 흐름을 느끼게 될 것이고, 또한 영적인 깨달음의 축복을 깨닫게 될 것이다.

그러나 알기를 원하는 충동을 자신 안에서 느끼지 않는 사람들은 전혀 감명을 받지 못하고 머문다. 그들은 듣지만, 말씀이 심장 안으로 들어가지 못한다. 그들은 일들의 연관관계를 파악할 수 없다. 그들의 이성이 귀를 통해 전해지는 것을 받아들이지 않는다. 왜냐하면 그들이 생각하고 추구하는 일이 아직 세상에 속한 일이고, 영적인 질문이 그들에게 중요하지 않은 것처럼 보이기 때문이다. 그러므로 세상적인 생각을 가진 사람들은 영적으로 활동적인 사람들로부터 등을 돌릴 것이다. 그들은 그들에게 깊이 생각해볼 의미와 목적이 없어 보이는, 그들의 의견으로는 결코 어떤 의심도 남아 있지 않게 해결할 수 없는 모든 문제에 대해 생각하는 일에 혐오감을 가질 것이다. 그들에게 이 문제는 항상 추측으로 머물게 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 그들이 거의 믿지를 않기 때문이다. 그들에게 깨달음을 수 있는 힘이 부족하고, 그가 깨달음을 향한 갈망을 갖기 전에는, 그에게 이런 깨달을 수 있는 힘을 줄 수 없기 때문에, 그런 사람을 확신시키는 일은 또한 불가능하다.

그들에게 영적인 진리를 이해할 수 있게 해줄 수 없다는 점이, 그들이 항상 어두움 속에서 더듬게 되고, 그들의 영의 상태를 밝게 해줄 수 없다는 점이, 이런 모든 사람에게 가장 크게 불리한 점이다. 왜냐하면 그들에게 빛 가운데 걸을 의지가 없기 때문이다. 그들은 거짓된 빛을, 세상의 화려함과 영광을 추구하고, 이런 거짓 빛에 눈이 멀었기 때문이다. 그러나 그들은 부드럽고 밝게 빛나는 깨달음의 빛을 보지 못한다. 이런 빛을 강제적으로 그들이 이해할 수 있게 해줄 수 없다. 그러므로 사람들 스스로가 깨달음의 빛을 갈망하고, 이제 이 빛이 그들에게 제공될 수 있게 될 때까지, 그들은 영적 어두움 속에 머물러야만 한다.

Lack of will - lack of cognitive power....

The inability of spiritual realization is based on man's lack of will to take a stand on spiritual questions. Earthly problems can also only be solved when man deals with them again and again and thus endeavours to penetrate them. Solving spiritual problems, however, requires deepest immersion and the will to receive information about them. Every answer first requires a question, the question in turn testifies to the desire for knowledge, and the desire for knowledge then also guarantees the power of cognition, without which the human being is incapable of absorbing the truth as such. However, where a certain lack of will results in indifference, enlightenment would not be heeded at all, and thus the strength certainly flows to the person when it is desired, but it cannot be imparted to the person who does not desire it. The spiritual currents want to be heeded, they do not flow to people indiscriminately but only those who willingly open themselves will feel them and only they will recognize the blessing of spiritual enlightenment. However, people who do not feel the urge to become knowledgeable remain completely unimpressed. They hear, and yet the words do not penetrate the heart. They are incapable of grasping the context of things, their minds do not take in what is conveyed to their ears because their senses and desires still belong to the world and spiritual questions seem unimportant to them. Consequently, worldly-minded people will turn away from those who are spiritually active, they will harbour an aversion to everything problematic, for it seems pointless and futile to them to delve into thoughts which, in their opinion, can never be solved in such a way that no doubts remain. All that remains for them is conjecture, which they give little credence to, and since they lack the power of realization but this cannot be given to them until they themselves desire it, it is not possible to convince such people either. And that is of greatest disadvantage for all these people, that spiritual truths cannot be made accessible to them, that they are always and constantly groping in the dark and their spiritual state cannot be illuminated because they lack the will to walk in the light. They strive after a will-o'-the-wisp, the splendour and magnificence of the earthly world, and they are blinded by this will-o'-the-wisp. However, they overlook the gentle yet brightly shining light of realization, but it cannot be forcibly made accessible to them, thus people will have to remain in spiritual darkness until they themselves desire the light of enlightenment and it can now be offered to them....
