Lo sviluppo verso l’Alto – L’edificazione - L’attività – La distruzione rivela retrocessione

Uno sviluppo progressivo dev’anche essere riconoscibile, perché si manifesterà sempre in modo edificante, mai distruttivo. Sia che ora si tratti di Opere di Creazione nella natura oppure di avvenimenti del creare umano, si potrà sempre riconoscere un progresso puramente nell’esteriore, che è simile ad un un’attività edificante. Dove invece vengono riconosciuti distruzioni o annientamenti, là si può dedurre anche indubbiamente al regresso spirituale, ma questo è possibile solo nello stadio umano, mentre nelle Opere di Creazione nella natura può sempre essere registrato un progresso, cioè uno sviluppo verso l’Alto, perché persino l’apparente distruzione o annientamento che non ha provocata la volontà umana, hanno per conseguenza nuove Creazioni in un grado superiore di maturità, quindi è riconoscibile anche esteriormente un progresso. Ma l’uomo può compiere anche delle opere che non significano per nulla uno sviluppo verso l’Alto, che non promuovono mai lo sviluppo dell’uomo, ma lo mettono piuttosto a rischio. Queste sono le opere prive di qualsiasi amore, che perseguono solo il contrario quando appaiono in modo edificante, che distruggono oppure sostengono un generale caos. Di conseguenza ogni opera può essere esaminata sul suo valore davanti a Dio e di conseguenza può anche sempre essere riconosciuto e giudicato lo stato di maturità. Tutto ciò che l’uomo fa, dev’essere considerato sotto il riflesso dell’amore per il prossimo, deve servire al prossimo o altre Creazioni per la conservazione o procreazione, nel vero senso della parola, dev’essere l’amore attivo per il prossimo. E questo significherà anche sempre uno sviluppo spirituale verso l’Alto. Ma dove non viene esercitato l’amore per il prossimo, là le opere degli uomini faranno anche riconoscere una decadenza o totale distruzione e di conseguenza non riveleranno nemmeno nessun progresso spirituale.

Higher development.... construction - activity.... destruction reveals decline....

A progressive development must also be recognizable, for it will always express itself in a constructive way, never in a destructive way. Whether we are dealing with works of creation in nature or with the results of human creativity, it will always be possible to determine a purely external progress, which is equal to a constructive activity. Where, on the other hand, destruction or annihilation become recognizable, spiritual decline can also be unhesitatingly concluded, but this is only possible in the human stage, whereas progress, i.e. upward development, can always be recorded in the works of creation in nature, because even the apparent destruction or annihilation, which was not brought about by human will, results in the emergence of new creations in a higher degree of maturity, thus purely externally progress can also be recognized. But the human being can also accomplish works which in no way signify a higher development, which never promote the development of the human being but rather disadvantage it. These are the works which lack all love, which, even if they seem to build up, only pursue the opposite.... to destroy or to support a general chaos. Accordingly, every work can be examined for its value before God, and afterwards the spiritual state of maturity can also be recognized and judged at any time. Everything a person does should be viewed under the mirror of neighbourly love.... it must serve fellow human beings or other creations for their preservation or reproduction, it must be active neighbourly love in the true sense of the word. And this will always mean spiritual higher development. But where neighbourly love is not practiced, people's works will also show decay or complete destruction and consequently not betray any spiritual progress either....
