La trasformazione della forma esteriore dopo la morte fisica - Essere morti spiritualmente - L’attività - L’inattività

L’uomo ha bisogno della forza vitale per eseguire ogni attività, quindi essere attivi significa anche Vita. Se gli viene sottratta questa forza, allora è incapace di trasformare sé stesso o altre cose, lui è senza vita. Ma la forma esteriore cambia comunque in sé, appena l’uomo è rimasto senza vita. Si dissolve, e questo processo dura così a lungo, finché ogni sostanza è stata di nuovo accolta in una nuova forma esteriore, cioè se lo spirituale è fuggito dalla forma, allora la forma rimasta viene bensì sospesa dalla sua precedente destinazione, ma deve adempiere una nuova destinazione, deve contribuire all’accrescimento di qualunque nuova forma esteriore. La sostanza si dissolve, per venir assoggettata ad una nuova forma esteriore. Questo procedimento necessita di nuovo di un tempo più lungo. Apparentemente si dissolve quindi la vecchia forma, in realtà però le sostanze spirituali, di cui esiste anche la forma esteriore terrena, entrano in contatto con altre sostanze spirituali e formano una nuova forma esteriore, perché lo spirituale, che si è raddensato in una nuova forma esteriore, deve pure passare attraverso il cammino dello sviluppo verso l’Alto sulla Terra, perché si trova ancora all’inizio del suo sviluppo. Appena ora questa nuova forma esteriore viene assegnata di nuovo a dello spirituale per il suo soggiorno, comincia la sua attività servente, quindi la forma si risveglia alla vita, perché l’attività è vita. Ad ogni Opera di Creazione affluisce la Forza di Dio, affinché possa attivarsi servendo, non importa, in quale modo, ed ogni attività procura allo spirituale nella forma lo sviluppo verso l’Alto. Di conseguenza, ciò che vive, quindi è attivo, deve progredire inevitabilmente nello sviluppo. Soltanto lo stato di morte significa un arresto del suo sviluppo. Ogni materia però ha la vita in sé, perché cambia, soltanto in una durata di tempo differentemente lungo. Persino la forma più solida viene stimolata all’attività attraverso l’influenza dall’esterno - che ha a che fare con l’irradiazione della Luce, quindi con l’agire del portatore di Luce - anche se questo non è riconoscibile all’occhio umano. Ma la vita si muove anche in questa forma e procura dei cambiamenti, che così confermano una vita. Perciò la materia non può essere chiamata totalmente morta, benché all’uomo appaia senza vita. Ciononostante esiste uno stato dell’assenza di vita, e cioè nello stato come uomo. In questo stadio all’essere affluisce la più grande misura di forza vitale, che deve usare per l’attività servente. E l’uomo può comunque passare attraverso la vita terrena nella totale inattività, appena non utilizza la forza vitale che gli affluisce per adempiere il compito che è lo scopo della sua vita terrena, quando manca di fare o omette ciò che gli procura lo sviluppo verso l’Alto, quando disattende l’agire nell’amore, l’attività, per la cui esecuzione Dio fa affluire all’uomo la forza vitale. Allora subentra un arresto nel suo sviluppo verso l’Alto. Questo significa uno stato di assenza di vita, di morte, e questa è la cosa più grave, perché questo stato può essere sospeso solamente attraverso l’essere stesso, lo stato di morte però è uno stato dell’assenza di Forza, quindi l’essere non se ne può più liberare da sé stesso, perché prima, quando gli affluiva la Forza, lui non lo voleva fare. Per la forma esteriore, la morte significa soltanto una trasformazione in una nuova forma, quindi pure un’ulteriore possibilità per lo sviluppo verso l’Alto della sostanza spirituale, di cui è fatta la forma esteriore. Essere spiritualmente morti però è la cosa più terribile, perché l’ultima Grazia, che è a disposizione dell’essere, viene lasciata inutilizzata, perché la Corrente di Vita, che Dio guida a questo essere, non viene utilizzata per l’attività servente e l’essere sosta sullo stesso gradino di sviluppo, sul quale stava all’inizio dell’incorporazione come uomo. Un progresso spirituale senza attività non è possibile, l’essere è diventato senza forza attraverso la sua inattività ed entra nell’aldilà senza forza.

Transformation of the external shape after physical death.... Being spiritually dead.... Activity - Inactivity....

The human being requires vital energy for every activity, thus activity signifies life. If this strength is withdrawn from him he will be incapable of reshaping himself or other things.... he will be lifeless. But as soon as the human being has become lifeless, the external shape will nevertheless change within itself. It will dissolve, and this process will last until all substances are taken in by a new external shape again, i.e. once the spiritual substance has escaped the form, the remaining form will certainly be released from its previous purpose, nevertheless, it must find a new purpose.... it must contribute towards increasing some other external shape. The substance dissolves in order to be joined to a new external shape. This process once again requires a longer period of time.... Hence the old shape seemingly dissolves; in reality, however, the spiritual substances which the external shape also consists of enter into contact with other spiritual substances and form a new external shape because the spiritual substance, which had solidified into an external shape, must likewise undertake the path of higher development on earth, for it is still at the beginning of its development. As soon as spiritual substances are placed into this new external shape again, it will begin its function of service, thus the shape will awaken to life.... for activity is life. Each work of creation receives the flow of strength from God so that it can actively be of service, no matter in what way, and every activity results in higher development for the spiritual substance in the form. Consequently that which is alive.... thus active.... must advance in its development without fail. Only the state of death signifies a standstill of its development. But all matter shelters life within itself, for it constantly changes, albeit over various lengths of time. Even the hardest form, through external influences relating to light radiation.... thus the activity of the bearers of light.... will be stimulated to be active, although this is not noticeable to the human eye. But life also stirs in this shape and accomplishes changes which therefore confirm its life. Matter can therefore not be called entirely dead, although for the human being it appears to be lifeless. And yet, a state of lifelessness exists and this occurs in the stage as a human being.... In this stage the being receives the greatest flow of vital energy which it should use for actively being of service. And despite of this it is possible for the human being to spend his life on earth in complete idleness.... as soon as he does not use the vital energy in order to fulfil the task which is the purpose of his earthly life.... if he neglects or refrains from doing what will gain him higher development.... if he avoids accomplishing acts of love.... the pursuance of activity for which God provides the human being with the flow of vital energy.... Then his higher development will come to a standstill. This signifies a state of lifelessness, of death, and this is the worst state because it can only be remedied by the being itself.... but since the state of death is a state of weakness, the being will no longer be able to release itself from it because it rejected the strength it had previously received.... Death of the external shape merely signifies a transformation into a new form, thus, in a manner of speaking, a further possibility for higher development of the spiritual substance which the external shape consists of. But to be spiritually dead is the most horrific state, because the final grace which is at the being's disposal has been left unused.... because the flow of vitality God conveyed to this being has not been used for helpful activity and the being remains on the same level of development it was in at the beginning of its embodiment as a human being. Spiritual progress without activity is impossible; the being becomes weak as a result of its inactivity and enters the beyond without strength....
