La via della carne - La libera volontà - La ragione - L’intelletto

D’ora in poi la tua vita dev’essere consacrata al servizio del Signore, e tutte le Comunicazioni che ti giungono fortificheranno la tua volontà e ti daranno la Forza per l’agire per il Signore.

Così ricevi oggi quanto segue: Ogni essere deve percorrere la via della carne, per decidersi per o contro Dio. Di conseguenza gli sono date due possibilità, è libero di scegliere. Se ambedue fossero ugualmente desiderabili nei loro effetti esteriori, sarebbe ben facile decidersi per Dio, ma così la via verso Dio è faticosa, ricca di rinunce, mentre la via verso il basso promette gioie e successi terreni, quindi all’essere sembra più desiderabile, e perciò ora deve lottare, se vuole intraprendere la via verso l’Alto. Questa però è la Legge divina, che l’essere deve stare in una certa resistenza verso il suo desiderio interiore, che si deve conquistare ciò che è infinitamente prezioso, e per questo ha bisogno della Forza per la sua volontà, che però gli viene aumentata secondo il bisogno e la richiesta, in modo che l’essere possa raggiungere la meta, se vuole. Con la propria forza non può fare nulla, ma la Forza da Dio non gli viene nascosta, se l’essere la desidera. Quindi, non viene preteso null’altro che la volontà. Dato che una volta l’essere ha abusato della sua volontà nella caduta da Dio, ora deve rinunciare appunto a questa volontà, cioè impiegarla per ritornare di nuovo a Dio. E per questo gli è data l’incorporazione come uomo. La via della carne viene ambita da tutti gli esseri, finché dimorano ancora nella forma legata, perché sanno che questa significa l’ultimo percorso sulla Terra. Perciò l’accettano gioiosi, sanno dapprima del loro compito e bramano quest’incorporazione nella speranza di potersi liberare definitivamente dalla forma legata. Ma sanno anche della responsabilità dell’esistenza terrena, ma considerano sufficiente la forza della loro volontà, per poter adempiere il loro compito. Ma sottovalutano l’astuzia ed il potere dell’avversario. Non pensano che costui impieghi tutti i mezzi per rendere lo spirituale di nuovo duttile per sé ed i suoi piani. L’Amore di Dio però circonda le Sue creature e mette a loro disposizione tutti i mezzi d’Aiuto, per poter resistere a questo potere. Ma lo stato libero nella carne ha molti pericoli. L’avversario sfrutta proprio la libertà della volontà, mentre presenta all’essere sulla Terra tutte le magnificenze, che l’essere ora si può appropriare grazie alla sua libera volontà e che dopo il precedente stato non libero gli sembrano straordinariamente desiderabili. E l’avversario cerca di determinare l’essere di utilizzare la libera volontà, per creare a sé stesso una vita estremamente piacevole, e questo significa nuovamente una caduta da Dio. E qui dev’essere offerta la resistenza per propria spinta. In questo breve tempo del cammino terreno l’uomo non dev’essere ostacolato nella sua libertà di volontà, ma deve anche riconoscere attraverso la sua ragione ed il suo intelletto il grande pericolo di una vita terrena ricca di godimento. Questa gli viene indicata attraverso la Parola di Dio, che viene offerta ad ogni uomo. Questa gli tiene davanti agli occhi le Magnificenze della Vita eterna da un lato, come la rovina dall’altra, ed ora l’uomo stesso può decidere quale via vuole percorrere, perché per questo Dio gli ha dato la ragione, l’intelletto e la libera volontà, affinché non cammini nell’ignoranza durante la sua vita terrena sulla sua stessa grande importanza. Perciò la vita come uomo è anche di responsabilità. Gli è stata data per un determinato scopo e quindi dev’essere vissuta rispetto a questo scopo. Anche se è esposto al potere dell’avversario, ha nuovamente comunque a disposizione così tanta Forza e Grazia divini, che può resistere a questo potere, se impiega bene la sua volontà, cioè si sia deciso per Dio.

Way of the flesh.... free will - reason - mind....

From now on, your life will be dedicated to the service of the lord, and all the gifts you receive will strengthen your will and give you the strength to work for the lord.

So accept the following today: Every being must go the way of the flesh in order to decide in it in favour of or against God. He is therefore given two possibilities, which he is free to choose. If both were equally desirable in their external effects, then it would certainly be easy to decide in favour of God, but the path to God is a laborious one, full of privation, while the path downwards promises earthly pleasures and successes, thus appears more desirable to the being, and therefore it must now fight if it wants to take the path upwards. But this is divine law, that the being has to stand in certain resistance to its inner desire, that it has to gain what is infinitely precious and needs its willpower for it, which however is increased according to need and demand, so that the being can reach the goal when it wants to. It is not able to do anything with its own strength but the strength from God will not be withheld from it if the being desires it. Therefore nothing more is demanded than the will. Because the being once misused its will to fall away from God, it now has to surrender this very will, i.e. use it in order to return to God again. And for this the embodiment as man was given to him. The path of the flesh is striven for by all beings as long as they still dwell in the bound form because they know that it signifies the last course on earth. They therefore joyfully take it upon themselves, know in advance about their task and long for this embodiment in the hope of finally being able to free themselves from the bound form. However, they are also aware of the responsibility of being on earth but consider their willpower to be sufficient to fulfil their task. Yet they underestimate the cunning and power of the adversary.... They do not consider that he uses all means to make the spiritual world submissive to himself and his plans again. God's love, however, surrounds its creatures and provides them with all the means to resist this power. But the free state in the flesh entails many dangers. The adversary uses precisely the freedom of will by holding out to the being on earth all the splendours which the being can now acquire by virtue of its free will and which appear extraordinarily desirable to it after the unfree state before. And the adversary tries to determine the being to use its free will to create an extremely pleasant life for itself.... and again this means apostasy from God. And there resistance is to be offered of its own accord. The human being should not be hindered in his freedom of will during this short time of life on earth, but he should regocnize through his reason and his intellect the great danger of a pleasurable earthly life. And this is pointed out to him through the word of God, which is offered to every human being.... This holds before his eyes the glories of eternal life on the one hand and the perdition on the other, and man can now decide for himself which path he wants to take.... For God gave him reason, understanding and free will so that he would not be ignorant of its great significance during his life on earth. Therefore, life as a human being is also responsible. It was given to him for a specific purpose and must therefore also be lived consciously in accordance with this purpose. Although he is at the mercy of the adversary's power he nevertheless has divine strength and grace at his disposal to such an extent that he can resist this power if he uses his free will correctly, i.e. if he has decided in favour of God....
