La morte sulla Croce di Gesù

Immaginare con tutta l’interiorità la morte sulla Croce di Gesù è di infinita Benedizione per l’anima che tende verso l’Alto. Era il momento della più grande debolezza corporea e Forza spirituale. Gesù vide arrivare la Sua fine, ed il Suo Spirito dimorava già presso il Padre, ma i più grandi dolori costringevano il Corpo ancora alla Terra, e l’Anima soffrì i tormenti nell’ultramisura per via dell’oscurità di coloro, che avevano causato la Sua morte. La sofferenza del Morente sulla Croce era indicibile, e soltanto un’anima profondamente sensibile può immaginarsi approssimativamente le umiliazioni, che ingrandivano la sofferenza della Sua Anima. Egli sentì dalla profondità dell’inferno le più amare ingiurie, il Suo Corpo era disprezzato, tutto il mondo era buio e senza Luce, e la grandezza della colpa di peccato giaceva come immenso peso sulle Sue Spalle. Egli portò questo peso ed inviò in Alto le Parole: “Padre, perdona loro.... “ La Sua Anima Era Amore, l’Amore più ardente, il più sacrificale per tutti questi uomini, che erano colpevoli della Sua indicibile sofferenza. Egli bevve il Calice fino in fondo, il Suo Corpo divenne sempre più debole, finché l’Anima finalmente Si separò e Si lanciò su al Padre. La morte di Gesù sulla Croce è di un così inafferrabile significato per gli uomini, e malgrado ciò questa più grande Opera dell’Amore e della Misericordia trova solo così poca considerazione. Solo l’uomo che sta nell’amore può misurare la sua Grandezza, ma per gli uomini senza amore la morte di Gesù è insignificante, perché a loro manca ogni sensibilità, quale Sacrificio Gesù Cristo ha portato nell’ultragrande Amore. Perché la Divinità di Gesù, lo Spirito di Dio che in Lui Era essenzialmente in tutta la Pienezza, Si Era ritirato da Lui nell’ora della morte, e l’Uomo Gesù ha compiuto questo Atto per la Liberazione degli uomini da ogni colpa di peccato. Quindi l’Uomo ha sofferto, l’ora della morte venne da Lui patita senza qualsiasi alleggerimento, il Corpo e l’Anima soffrirono inimmaginabili dolori, perché soltanto così l’Opera di Redenzione poteva essere compiuta, affinché la sofferenza dell’umanità diminuisse, solo così poté essere estinta tutta la colpa di peccato, perché l’ultragrande Amore portò la sofferenza, che era necessariamente la conseguenza della colpa di peccato. Il mondo non ha quasi più nessuna comprensione per questa più grande Opera d’Amore di un Uomo, vi passa oltre con indifferenza, anzi cerca di svalutarla, mentre non le attribuisce più significato che all’azione di un idealista, i cui motivi venivano ammessi solo più tardi come lo fa oggi la Dottrina cristiana. Ma proprio per questo la Redenzione dell’uomo viene messa in discussione, il Pensiero della Redenzione viene rigettato e quindi Gesù Cristo riconosciuto solo come una Persona della storia del mondo, ma viene negato ogni collegamento spirituale della Sua morte con l’intera umanità. E questo pensare totalmente sbagliato degli uomini ha reso necessario, che il Signore Si prende di nuovo Cura degli uomini in modo misericordioso, che trasmette loro la pura Verità, affinché la fede nella Redenzione attraverso Gesù Cristo non vada perduta fra gli uomini, ma che diventi di nuovo viva in loro.

Jesus' death on the cross....

Imagining Jesus' death on the cross with all inwardness is so infinitely blessed for the soul that strives for the heights. It was the moment of greatest physical weakness and spiritual strength. Jesus saw His end coming and His spirit was already with the father, but the greatest pain still forced the body to earth and the soul suffered torment in excess because of the darkness of those who were responsible for His death. The suffering of the dying man on the cross was unspeakable, and only a deeply feeling soul can even begin to imagine the humiliations that increased His soul's suffering. He heard the most bitter reproaches from the depths of hell, His body was ostracized.... the whole world was dark and lightless, and the greatness of the guilt of sin lay as a tremendous burden on His shoulders.... He bore this burden and sent up the words: "Father, forgive them...." His soul was love, the most ardent, self-sacrificing love for all these people who were to blame for His unspeakable suffering. He drank the cup to the brim, His body grew weaker, until at last His soul parted and soared up to the father.... Jesus' death on the cross is of such incomprehensible significance for people, and yet this greatest work of love and mercy receives so little attention.... Only the person who is in love is able to measure the greatness of it, but for people without love Jesus' death is meaningless, because they lack any feeling for the sacrifice Jesus Christ made in immense love. For the divinity of Jesus.... the fullness of God's spirit in Him, withdrew from Him at the hour of death and the man Jesus accomplished this deed to redeem people from all guilt of sin. Consequently, the human being suffered, the hour of death was tasted by him without any relief, the body and the soul suffered unimaginable pain.... for only in this way could the work of redemption be accomplished so that humanity's suffering would diminish.... only in this way could all guilt of sin be cancelled, so that excessive love bore the suffering that this guilt of sin inevitably entailed. The world no longer has any understanding for this greatest work of love of a human being, it passes it by carelessly, indeed it seeks to devalue it by attaching no more importance to it than to the act of an idealist whose motives were only later justified in the way that christian doctrine does today. But it is precisely the redemption of man that is called into question, the idea of redemption is rejected and thus Jesus Christ is only regocnized as a world-historical person, but a spiritual connection with the whole of humanity is denied after His death. And this completely wrong thinking of people has made it necessary for the lord to take pity on people again, to convey the pure truth to them so that faith in the redemption through Jesus Christ will not be lost among people but will come alive in them again....
