Malformazione e la sua benedizione

L’uomo ha da sostenere una prova involontaria di vita, ma estremamente salubre, quando nella sua figura esteriore si sente incapace di rendere omaggio a godimenti terreni, se a causa di una qualsiasi malformazione gli è stata tolta l’occasione per il godimento di vita, e così egli deve obbligatoriamente rinunciare alle gioie terrene. Egli è ora bensì in grande pericolo di pensare con amarezza al Suo Creatore oppure di rifiutarLo del tutto, perché gli è incomprensibile la Volontà di una Divinità che secondo la sua opinione ricompensa i figli terreni con doni in modo ingiusto. Ma se malgrado la sua disgrazia egli ha una profonda fede, il progresso spirituale gli è più facile, perché lui resiste meglio al mondo con le sue tentazioni e, in mancanza di gioie terrene, si occupa molto di più di problemi spirituali che lo conducono molto prima allo stato di maturità. Così questi uomini giungono sovente in breve tempo alla giusta interpretazione della loro vita. Non richiedono più a questa il totale adempimento, ma attendono pazientemente il tempo che prepara una fine alla loro esistenza, convinti del fatto che dopo la vera Vita prende il suo inizio ed il cambiamento sulla Terra corrisponde all’effetto nell’aldilà. Perciò il malformato sulla Terra ha un certo vantaggio, dato che la rinuncia a gioie terrene gli diventa per modo di dire più facile che ad un uomo ben formato, che è costantemente esposto alle tentazioni del mondo, ma soltanto quando egli stesso si rimette alla Volontà di Dio, porta il destino caricato su di lui e sa ringraziare per questo il suo Creatore perché Lui gli ha dato la vita. Se un tale uomo è spiritualmente mobile, allora presto non considera più la sua figura come malasorte, ma vedrà una meta desiderabile nella vita spirituale. Egli baderà sempre soltanto ad accrescere il suo sapere spirituale, e darà anche amore ai suoi prossimi e non mormorerà per via della sua sorte oppure non s’inalbererà magari contro Dio.

Blessing of deformity....

The human being has to undergo an involuntary yet very beneficial test of life if he, due to his external appearance, is unable to enjoy earthly pleasures, i.e. if the opportunity of undivided enjoyment of life is taken from him due to some kind of deformity and he is forced to give up earthly joys. He could then be in great danger to think of his Creator in bitterness or even reject Him completely because the will of a Deity who, in his opinion, imparts gifts to His earthly children unfairly, is incomprehensible to him. However, if he remains faithful in spite of his misfortune, spiritual progress will be possible for him much sooner since he will find it easier to resist the world and its temptations and in absence of worldly pleasures will be far more able to occupy himself with spiritual problems, which will lead him to the state of maturity much sooner. Consequently, such human beings often achieve the right understanding of their life in a short time.... They no longer demand complete fulfilment in life and patiently await the time when their earthly existence comes to an end, convinced that only then true life will begin and that their time on earth will have an appropriate effect in the beyond.

Hence, a deformed person on earth has a certain advantage in as much as the denial of worldly pleasures is easier for him than for a well proportioned person who is constantly confronted with the temptations of the world, but only if he contributes towards it himself, that is, if he, in submission to God's will, accepts his imposed destiny and thanks his Creator that He had given him life. If such a human being is spiritually active he soon will no longer consider his body a misfortune but consider spiritual life a desirable goal. He will always strive to increase his spiritual knowledge; he will also love his fellow human beings and not grumble at his fate or even fight God....
