Preocupación y culto para el cuerpo... Anticipar la naturaleza... Envejecimiento...

Si la vida terrenal se os pone difícil, huid a Mí... Quiero ser vuestra fuerza y vuestro consuelo en los momentos difíciles, y quien camina Conmigo superará todas las dificultades. Pero que se os diga, que vosotros también debéis ser activos si queréis que os bendiga.

La naturaleza exige su derecho, por lo que tenéis que someteros a las leyes de la naturaleza, asimismo debéis practicar el dominio sobre vosotros mismos donde es posible. Y la vida a menudo os pone delante de la decisión si queréis complacer al cuerpo o al alma. Y el cuerpo exigirá mucho, y querréis concederlo, pero el beneficio del alma es pequeño, cuando el cuerpo encuentra cumplimiento, en cambio, el alma gana inmensamente cuando el cuerpo renuncia a lo que le complace

El mayor peligro consiste en conceder al cuerpo el derecho a dominar... que sólo se tenga en cuenta su comodidad y la gente esté constantemente preocupada por cuidarlo, y un culto constante hacia él es la razón de descuidarse del verdadero trabajo del alma, y esto es ciertamente útil para la conservación el cuerpo, pero nunca para la formación del alma, y el primero es extremadamente poco importante en relación con la tarea real en la tierra, que debe ser considerado seriamente, donde prevalece la preocupación por el bienestar físico.

Así que nunca os dejáis tentar por querer anticiparos a la naturaleza tratando de cambiar o detener lo que tiene que seguir su curso natural. Poned a prueba vuestro poder... será insuficiente en comparación con las leyes existentes de la naturaleza... pero donde el cuerpo va por el camino de la descomposición, allí el alma debe madurar y volverse más y más perfecta, razón por la cual el primero debe perecer en la misma medida en que el alma se esfuerza por vivir espiritualmente.

El alma tiene mayor obstáculo que vencer en un cuerpo exteriormente bien formado, ya que toda inclinación hacia el mundo le es inherente, y se le exigen mayores exigencias al alma en la autosuperación a través de frecuentes incentivos del mundo. el que menosprecia su cuerpo, pero considera su alma con cuidado espiritual, ha aprovechado bien el tiempo terrenal, y también se sentirá bien por fuera, ya que esto no le parece ser lo único por lo que vale la pena luchar y a él por lo tanto, se le da todo lo que necesita para vivir.

Porque cuido Mis hijos en la tierra, como les es útil... Doy donde se renuncia gustosamente, y fracaso donde se busca demasiado el deseo de los bienes terrenales, porque no quiero que se cuide sólo el cuerpo, sino que el alma debe ser rescatada primero de su miseria...

Care and cult of the body.... anticipating nature.... ageing....

If life on earth becomes difficult for you, take refuge in Me.... I want to be your strength and comfort in difficult times, and whoever walks with Me will overcome all difficulties. But let it be said to you that you must also be active yourselves if you want Me to bless you.

Nature demands its law and so you must submit to the laws of nature, but you must also practice self-conquest where possible. And life will often present you with the decision as to whether you want to be at the will of the body or the soul. And the body will demand many things and you will want to grant them to it, yet the soul's benefit is only slight if the body is granted fulfilment, whereas the soul will gain immensely if the body renounces what is granted to it. The greatest danger of all is that the body is granted the right to rule.... that only its comfort is always taken into account and man's concern is constantly to care for it, and a perpetual cult around it is cause to neglect the actual work on the soul, and (it = ed.) this is certainly conducive to the preservation of the body, but never to the shaping of the soul, and the former is extremely unimportant in relation to the actual earthly task, which must be seriously considered where concern for the physical well-being is predominant. So never let yourselves be tempted to want to anticipate nature by trying to change or stop what must take its natural course. Test your power.... it will be inadequate compared to the existing laws of nature.... yet where the body takes the path of decay, there the soul shall mature and become ever more perfect, which is why the former must pass away to the same extent as the soul endeavours to live spiritually. The soul has to overcome a greater obstacle, as it were, in an outwardly well-educated body, since all inclination to the world is inherent in it and greater demands are made on the soul in overcoming itself through frequent stimuli from the world. Anyone who despises his body but carefully looks after his soul with spiritual care will have made good use of his time on earth and he will also feel purely outwardly well since this does not appear to him to be the only thing worth striving for and he will therefore be provided with everything he needs to live. For I consider My children on earth as it serves them.... I give where they gladly renounce and deny where they are overly desirous of earthly goods, because I do not want the body alone to be considered but the soul should first be rescued from its misery....
