Spiritual comfort....

Every spiritual consolation is a refreshment for the soul which is open to it as soon as it feels the love of the consoler. For the soul is always in distress when it needs spiritual comfort. Then the human being performs a work of love for his neighbour which must sometimes be valued more highly than the administration of earthly gifts which only benefit the body. But the soul, which needs spiritual comfort, is in need of a work of love, and it can be helped far more.... always provided that true love gives it comfort. For then it will feel this love and be inspired to love itself, and love always has a redeeming effect. But giving spiritual comfort always requires the right attitude, thus the human being has to be in the right relationship with Me, with his father, then he will always also point his fellow human being to Me, he will tell him where he can expect comfort and help, he will encourage him to turn to Me himself and establish the same relationship with Me as he himself has, and his words will therefore also be alive and have an effect on the fellow human being to whom he seeks to give spiritual comfort. And it is precisely this bond which will comfort him.... the hope that there is one Who hears him and heeds his call, and that he can unite with Me in every adversity of body and soul. No one should let his fellow human being leave him without consolation. But he can only ever give true comfort by referring to Me, Who can and will change all suffering if the person trusts Me and asks Me for help. For then he will acknowledge Me as his God and father, and that alone is the purpose and aim of earthly existence, to enter into the relationship with Me again in which the being stood in the beginning, to lift the separation itself in free will, which it once aspired to, and to unite with Me again in order to be blissfully happy. This is why every reference to Me is a spiritual comfort which every human being needs as long as he is still distant from Me and, as it were, lonely and abandoned, exposed to all attacks by the adversary. He is in spiritual adversity where he needs consolation.... Take care of all of them, regardless of whether they are still on earth or already in the beyond, and give them this comfort by referring them to Me, that they should call upon Me and through calling upon My name will also find salvation for their souls. Remember them in prayer and in thought and don't leave them in this adversity, and they will thank you eternally if you have helped them to find Me and to attain beatitude in Me, for which the bond with Me is indispensable. And you, too, will be comforted if you are in the same distress of soul, I will take special care of you and give you what you need in order to become blissfully happy....

Geistiger Trost....

Jeder geistige Trost ist eine Labsal für die Seele, die dafür aufgeschlossen ist, sowie sie die Liebe des Tröstenden empfindet. Denn die Seele befindet sich immer in Not, wenn sie geistigen Trostes bedarf. Dann verrichtet der Mensch ein Werk der Liebe am Nächsten, das mitunter höher gewertet werden muß als die Verabreichung irdischer Gaben, die nur dem Körper nützen. Die Seele aber, die geistigen Trost nötig hat, ist eines Liebewerkes bedürftig, und ihr kann weit mehr geholfen werden.... vorausgesetzt immer, daß wahre Liebe ihr den Trost spendet. Denn dann empfindet sie diese Liebe und wird selbst zur Liebe angeregt, und Liebe wirkt immer erlösend. Geistigen Trost zu spenden erfordert aber immer eine rechte Einstellung, also es muß der Mensch im rechten Verhältnis stehen zu Mir, zu seinem Vater, dann wird er immer den Mitmenschen auch zu Mir hinweisen, er wird ihm sagen, wo er Trost und Hilfe zu erwarten hat, er wird ihm Mut machen, sich selbst an Mich zu wenden und mit Mir das gleiche Verhältnis herzustellen, in dem er selbst steht, und seine Worte werden daher auch lebendig sein und wirken auf den Mitmenschen, dem er geistigen Trost zu spenden sucht. Und ebendiese Bindung ist es, die ihn trösten wird.... die Hoffnung, daß Einer ist, Der ihn hört und seines Rufes achtet, und daß er sich mit Mir verbinden kann in jeder Not des Leibes und der Seele. Niemand soll den Mitmenschen ungetröstet von sich gehen lassen. Wahren Trost aber kann er immer nur geben durch den Hinweis auf Mich, Der Ich alles Leid wandeln kann und auch will, wenn der Mensch Mir vertraut und Mich bittet um Hilfe. Denn dann erkennt er Mich an als seinen Gott und Vater, und das allein ist Zweck und Ziel des Erdendaseins, wieder in das Verhältnis zu Mir einzutreten, in dem das Wesen stand zu Anbeginn, die Trennung selbst im freien Willen aufzuheben, die es einstmals angestrebt hat, und wieder mit Mir sich zu vereinen, um selig zu sein. Darum ist jeder Hinweis zu Mir ein geistiger Trost, den jeder Mensch braucht, solange er noch entfernt ist von Mir und gleichsam einsam und verlassen allen Angriffen des Gegners ausgesetzt ist. Er befindet sich in geistiger Not, wo er des Trostes bedarf.... Nehmet euch alle derer an, ganz gleich, ob sie noch auf Erden oder schon im Jenseits weilen, und spendet ihnen diesen Trost, indem ihr sie zu Mir verweiset, daß sie Mich rufen sollen und durch den Anruf Meines Namens auch das Heil ihrer Seelen finden werden. Gedenket ihrer im Gebet und in Gedanken, und lasset sie nicht in dieser Not, und sie werden es euch danken ewiglich, wenn ihr ihnen verholfen habt, zu Mir zu finden und in Mir zur Seligkeit zu gelangen, wozu die Bindung mit Mir unerläßlich ist. Und auch ihr werdet getröstet werden, so ihr euch in gleicher Not der Seele befindet, Ich werde Mich eurer ganz besonders annehmen und euch zuwenden, wessen ihr bedürfet, um selig zu werden....
