Working of the adversary: defence against God's word....

The fact that people reject God's word is understandable because God's adversary can influence them as long as they strive for his kingdom, thus, through their desire for earthly goods, he grants them the power over themselves which he uses to good effect by influencing them against everything that is true, full of light, good.... so that they also oppose the word of God, which, however, is the most valuable thing on earth they should strive for.... The earthly world is still the adversary's sphere of power from God, for it consists of that which has fallen away from God, of that which is bound in the earthly creations, in matter, which is still willingly turned towards God's adversary but cannot be forced by him to fulfil the adversary's will. But the human being in the state of free will is a suitable object for him, which he now tries to make submissive to his will. For he wants the latter to turn fully and completely towards him again, to express his opposition to God anew.... And since the human being is still weak-willed, since he has not yet firmly decided in favour of God Whose kingdom he does not see, he entices him with his kingdom, which is far more attractive to people because everything is placed before their eyes.... But through God's word they are made aware of the transience of earthly things.... through God's word they are reminded of the effects a way of life can have if it is used rightly or wrongly.... through God's word the human being is warned and admonished.... And he can easily reach his aim if he makes the word of God the guideline for his thoughts and actions.... But the adversary of God tries to prevent this in order not to lose what is his.... He knows that God's word, as the eternal truth, also has the power to influence people correctly and that they will then finally be lost to him. For this reason all his efforts are only ever aimed at preventing people from receiving the divine word, and therefore he instils a feeling of repulsion in them and they listen to him because at the same time the world lures them with its goods.... Anyone who has already detached himself more from matter is more likely to turn his attention to the spiritual kingdom, and he is also more likely to let himself be captivated by the word of God.... even if he does not consciously desire the kingdom of God at first.... but he accepts without resistance, and then it will not fail to make an impression on him either, because the word of God contains the strength within itself as soon as resistance is abandoned. In the last days every single soul will be fought over and God's adversary will have the upper hand because people will grant him this themselves, because they are materialistic to such an extent that everything spiritual will fade away for them, that they will not examine it first but already want to know nothing about divine-spiritual matters because then they would have to put the world aside.... which, however, is infinitely more important to them.... And yet the word of God is the only salvation for people because it enlightens them and at the same time gives them light and strength.... yet the freedom of their will is not touched, and therefore the human being himself decides to whom he turns.... And thus he also creates his own lot in eternity....

Trabalho do adversário: defesa contra a palavra de Deus....

O facto de as pessoas rejeitarem a Palavra de Deus é compreensível porque o adversário de Deus pode influenciá-las desde que se esforcem por alcançar o Seu reino, assim, através do seu desejo de bens terrenos, Ele concede-lhes o poder sobre si próprios que Ele usa para o bem, influenciando-os contra tudo o que é verdadeiro, cheio de luz, bom.... para que também se oponham à Palavra de Deus, que, no entanto, é a coisa mais valiosa na terra pela qual devem lutar..... O mundo terreno continua a ser a esfera de poder do adversário de Deus, pois consiste naquilo que se afastou de Deus, naquilo que está ligado às criações terrenas, na matéria, que ainda se volta voluntariamente para o adversário de Deus mas não pode ser forçado por ele a cumprir a vontade do adversário. Mas o ser humano no estado de livre vontade é um objecto adequado para ele, que agora tenta tornar submisso à sua vontade. Pois ele quer que este último se volte completa e completamente para ele, para expressar a sua oposição a Deus novamente..... E como o ser humano ainda é fraco de vontade, uma vez que ainda não decidiu firmemente a favor de Deus cujo reino não vê, Ele seduze-o com o Seu reino, que é muito mais atraente para as pessoas porque tudo é colocado diante dos seus olhos.... Mas através da Palavra de Deus são alertados para a transitoriedade das coisas terrenas.... através da Palavra de Deus são lembrados dos efeitos que um modo de vida pode ter se for usado correctamente ou erradamente.... através da Palavra de Deus o ser humano é avisado e admoestado.... E pode facilmente alcançar o seu objectivo se fizer da Palavra de Deus a linha de orientação dos seus pensamentos e acções.... Mas o adversário de Deus tenta impedir isto para não perder o que é a sua.... Ele sabe que a Palavra de Deus, como verdade eterna, também tem o poder de influenciar correctamente as pessoas e que estas serão finalmente perdidas para ele. Por esta razão, todos os seus esforços visam apenas impedir que as pessoas recebam a Palavra divina e, por isso, ele incute nelas um sentimento de repulsa e elas ouvem-no porque, ao mesmo tempo, o mundo atrai-as com os seus bens.... Qualquer pessoa que já se tenha desligado mais da matéria é mais susceptível de virar a sua atenção para o reino espiritual, e também é mais susceptível de se deixar cativar pela Palavra de Deus.... mesmo que ele não deseje conscientemente o reino de Deus em primeiro.... mas ele aceita sem resistência, e então também não deixará de lhe causar impressão, porque a Palavra de Deus contém a força dentro de si, assim que a resistência é abandonada. Nos últimos dias, cada alma será combatida e o adversário de Deus terá a vantagem porque as próprias pessoas lhe concederão isto, porque são materialistas a tal ponto que tudo o que é espiritual se desvanecerá para eles, que não o examinarão primeiro mas já não querem saber nada sobre assuntos divino-espirituais porque então teriam de pôr o mundo de lado.... o que, no entanto, é infinitamente mais importante para eles.... E no entanto a Palavra de Deus é a única salvação para as pessoas porque as ilumina e ao mesmo tempo lhes dá luz e força.... mas a liberdade da sua vontade não é tocada, e por isso o próprio ser humano decide a quem se dirige.... E assim ele também cria o seu próprio lote na eternidade...._>Ámen
