Working of the adversary: defence against God's word....

The fact that people reject God's word is understandable because God's adversary can influence them as long as they strive for his kingdom, thus, through their desire for earthly goods, he grants them the power over themselves which he uses to good effect by influencing them against everything that is true, full of light, good.... so that they also oppose the word of God, which, however, is the most valuable thing on earth they should strive for.... The earthly world is still the adversary's sphere of power from God, for it consists of that which has fallen away from God, of that which is bound in the earthly creations, in matter, which is still willingly turned towards God's adversary but cannot be forced by him to fulfil the adversary's will. But the human being in the state of free will is a suitable object for him, which he now tries to make submissive to his will. For he wants the latter to turn fully and completely towards him again, to express his opposition to God anew.... And since the human being is still weak-willed, since he has not yet firmly decided in favour of God Whose kingdom he does not see, he entices him with his kingdom, which is far more attractive to people because everything is placed before their eyes.... But through God's word they are made aware of the transience of earthly things.... through God's word they are reminded of the effects a way of life can have if it is used rightly or wrongly.... through God's word the human being is warned and admonished.... And he can easily reach his aim if he makes the word of God the guideline for his thoughts and actions.... But the adversary of God tries to prevent this in order not to lose what is his.... He knows that God's word, as the eternal truth, also has the power to influence people correctly and that they will then finally be lost to him. For this reason all his efforts are only ever aimed at preventing people from receiving the divine word, and therefore he instils a feeling of repulsion in them and they listen to him because at the same time the world lures them with its goods.... Anyone who has already detached himself more from matter is more likely to turn his attention to the spiritual kingdom, and he is also more likely to let himself be captivated by the word of God.... even if he does not consciously desire the kingdom of God at first.... but he accepts without resistance, and then it will not fail to make an impression on him either, because the word of God contains the strength within itself as soon as resistance is abandoned. In the last days every single soul will be fought over and God's adversary will have the upper hand because people will grant him this themselves, because they are materialistic to such an extent that everything spiritual will fade away for them, that they will not examine it first but already want to know nothing about divine-spiritual matters because then they would have to put the world aside.... which, however, is infinitely more important to them.... And yet the word of God is the only salvation for people because it enlightens them and at the same time gives them light and strength.... yet the freedom of their will is not touched, and therefore the human being himself decides to whom he turns.... And thus he also creates his own lot in eternity....

L’agire dell’avversario: resistenza verso la Parola di Dio

Che gli uomini si comportino con rifiuto verso la Parola di Dio è comprensibile, perché l’avversario di Dio può influenzarli finché loro aspirano al suo regno, cioè con il desiderio di beni terreni gli accordano loro stessi il potere che lui sfrutta bene influenzandoli contro tutto il Vero, Luminoso, Bene, .... , in modo che pongano anche resistenza alla Parola di Dio, che però sulla Terra è la cosa più preziosa a cui dovrebbero aspirare. Il mondo terreno è ancora il campo di potere dell’avversario di Dio, perché è costituito da ciò che è caduto da Dio, dallo spirituale legato nelle Creazioni terrene, nella materia, che nella sua volontà è rivolta all’avversario di Dio, ma non può venire costretto da questo a compiere la volontà dell’avversario. L’uomo però nel suo stato della libera volontà è per lui un oggetto adatto, che ora cerca di rendere soggetto alla sua volontà. Perché egli vuole che questi si rivolga di nuovo totalmente a lui, che confessi di nuovo la sua opposizione contro Dio. E dato che l’uomo ha ancora una volontà debole, dato che non si è ancora deciso fermamente per Dio, il Cui Regno non vede, l’altro lo circuisce con il suo regno il quale possiede per gli uomini molta più forza d’attrazione, perché tutto viene messo davanti ai loro occhi. Ma con la Parola di Dio viene indicato loro la temporaneità del terreno, con la Parola di Dio viene loro presentato come un cammino di vita può manifestarsi, quando viene utilizzato bene o male; tramite la Parola di Dio l’uomo viene ammonito ed avvertito. E può raggiungere con facilità la sua meta, se si fa della Parola di Dio il filo conduttore del suo pensare ed agire. Ma l’avversario di Dio cerca di impedire questo per non perdere ciò che gli appartiene. Egli sa che la Parola di Dio quale Verità eterna ha anche la Forza di influenzare giustamente gli uomini e che questi sono poi definitivamente perduti per lui. Perciò tutti i suoi sforzi sono rivolti ad impedire che gli uomini ricevano la Parola divina e per questo infonde loro la sensazione del rifiuto e loro l’ascoltano, perché contemporaneamente sono attirati dal mondo con i suoi beni. Chi si è già di più distaccato dalla materia, rivolge prima la sua attenzione al Regno spirituale, e si lascia anche prima catturare dalla Parola di Dio, anche se all’inizio non ha un desiderio cosciente per il Regno di Dio, ma accetta senza resistenza, e poi non mancherà nemmeno la sua influenza su di lui, perché la Parola di Dio cela in sé la Forza appena la resistenza è stata abbandonata. Nella fine del tempo si lotta per ogni singola anima, e l’avversario di Dio ha un gran sovrappeso, perché gli uomini stessi glielo accordano, perché sono materiali in una misura che tutto lo spirituale impallidisce per loro, che non esaminano prima, ma per questo non vogliono sapere del divino spirituale, perché devono allora mettere il mondo da parte, che però vale infinitamente di più per loro. Ma malgrado ciò la Parola di Dio è l’unica Salvezza per gli uomini, perché spiega a loro e dà contemporaneamente Luce e Forza, ma la libertà della loro volontà non viene toccata, e per questo l’uomo decide da sé a chi si rivolgersi. E così crea anche lui stesso il suo destino nell’Eternità.
