False gods.... divine worship.... (antichrist?)

You should not make false gods for yourselves whom you worship, you should not let yourselves be dazzled by beautiful speeches to which you listen in rapture; you should not listen to those who promise you good days on earth, who want to persuade you to belong to them and strengthen their power; You should not strive for connections with people of high rank in order to gain their favour, nor should you feel connected to those who appear unusually, who possess strength which you lack, as long as you are not entirely convinced that they are My representatives on earth, whom I certainly endow with strength but have not placed so high that you look up to them. You should not pay divine reverence to people who are above you, for I do not want one to rule over the other even if he is entitled to do so. Only for the sake of human order have I set an authority over you which you should well obey but which you must not elevate to gods, for then they will only be idols for you which are and remain dead and cannot give you life. You should all be brothers and live like brothers among yourselves, and if there is one among you who is rich in experience, who is noble and good and whom you would like to give priority among yourselves, this should only be a demonstration of love from brother to brother, but not a humble submission and thus elevation of the brother above you.... You should beware of paying divine reverence to a human being, for then you will have foreign gods next to Me. And anyone who allows himself to be worshipped, who feels exalted above his fellow human beings, who abuses his power in order to oppress his subordinates, is not Mine but My adversary's, for he does according to his commandment, because My commandment is only love and no-one will rule who has love in himself.... Nor do I want you to look up to those who are like you, unless they surpass you in love and virtues and you seek to follow them. But they will not demand any honour, no idolatry from you but reject them as belonging to Me alone. But anyone who accepts honours, who puts up with even the slightest glorification, who waits to be singled out by his fellow human beings, who values himself more highly than his fellow human beings, is already animated by the spirit of the one who wanted to elevate himself above Me in order to rule and completely disregarded love. And this person will never be able to work on earth in My name, for he pursues earthly aims, he still seeks ascent on earth and will never reach it.... Know that only the humble find favour in My sight, and that alone should warn you if a person allows himself to be shown divine adoration. Therefore be careful and don't let yourselves be blinded by the twinkling of the stars which will still flash before you but which have put on a shiny garment themselves in order to feign light for you. Be vigilant, for My light spreads a mild glow, My light does not radiate outwards, but whoever carries it in his heart walks humbly and no longer seeks anything that belongs to the world. But the prince of darkness exalts himself, and he wants to be counted before the world.... By this you will always know which spirit speaks from the people who want to bring you salvation, and knowledge will prevent you from bending the knee before him who is My adversary....

거짓된 신들. 우상 숭배 (적 그리스도).

너희가 거짓된 신들을 만들어 경배해서는 안 된다. 너희가 거짓 신에게 속하도록 설득시키기 위해 이 땅의 좋은 날들을 약속하며 너희를 현혹하고, 자신의 세력을 강화시키려는 아름다운 말을 황홀해 하며 경청해서는 안 된다. 너희는 높은 위치에 있는 자로부터 이익을 얻기 위해 연결되려는 추구를 해서는 안 된다. 너희는 너희에게는 부족한 능력을 나타내 보이고 특이하게 자신을 들어내는 사람들이 비록 이 땅에서 나를 위해 일하는 내 대리자로써 내 능력으로 무장되었을 지라도 너희가 우러러 볼정도로 내가 높게 세웠다는 확신이 서지 않는 한 그들과 연합된 감정을 가져서는 안 된다.

너희는 너희 위에 있는 사람에게 신적인 경배를 드려서는 안 된다. 왜냐면 나는 한 사람이 비록 그에게 그런 권세가 있다 할지라도 다른 사람을 지배하는 일을 원하지 않기 때문이다. 나는 단지 사람 사이에 질서를 위해 단지 너희 위해 윗사람을 세웠고, 너희가 윗사람에게 순종해야 하지만, 그렇다고 너희는 윗사람을 신처럼 높여서는 안 된다. 그러면 그는 너희에게 생명을 줄 수 없는 단지 죽은 우상이 되기 때문이다. 너희 모두는 형제가 되야 하고, 형제처럼 서로 지내야 한다. 너희가 너희 가운데 경험이 많고, 고귀하고, 선한 한 형제를 너희 가운데 앞세우기를 원하면, 이는 단지 형제들 간의 사랑을 증명하는 일이 되야 하고, 한 형제를 너희 위에 높이 세우기 위해 겸손하게 굴복하는 일이 되어서는 안 된다.

너희는 한 사람에게 신적인 경배를 드리는 일을 주의해야 한다. 왜냐면 너희가 이로써 나 이외에 이방 신을 갖게 되기 때문이다. 자신에게 신적인 경배를 드리게 하거나, 다른 사람보다 자신을 고귀한 것처럼 느끼는 사람과 자신 아래 있는 사람들을 압제하기 위해 자신의 권세를 잘못 사용하는 사람은 나로부터 온 사람이 아니고, 내 대적자로부터 온 사람이다. 왜냐면 그가 내 대적자의 계명을 따르기 때문이고, 내 계명은 단지 사랑이고, 자신 안에 사랑을 가진 사람은 아무도 지배하려고 하지 않기 때문이다.

나는 너희가 너희와 같은 인간을 높게 보는 일을 원하지 않는다. 예외인 경우는 그가 너희들에게 사랑과 덕을 끼쳐, 너희가 그들을 따르려는 경우이다. 그러나 이런 사람은 너희에게 명예와 신격화하는 일을 요구하지 않고 오히려 거절하면서, 이 모든 것이 단지 나에게만 속한 것으로 말 할 것이다. 그러나 존경을 받아들이고, 단지 작은 높임에도 기뻐하며, 사람들로부터 높임 받기를 기다리는 사람이나, 자신을 이웃보다 더 높게 평가하는 사람은 이미 그의 혼 안에 지배하기 위해 나를 대적하여 일어난 사랑을 전혀 중시하지 않는 자의 영이 역사하는 것이다. 이런 사람은 절대로 이 땅에서 내 이름으로 역사할 수 없다. 왜냐면 그가 세상적인 목표를 추구하기 때문이다. 그는 세상에서 높아지기 원하지만, 절대로 도달하지 못할 것이다.

단지 내 눈앞에서 겸손한 사람이 은혜를 받게 된다는 것을 알라. 이 한가지 사실 만으로도 너희에게 사람들로부터 신적인 경배를 허용하는 사람을 조심하라는 경고가 된다. 그러므로 너희는 주의하여, 너희가 너희 앞에 광채를 내며 별처럼 빛나는 것에 속지 말아야 한다. 그들 자신이 단지 너희를 속이기 위해, 단지 빛나는 옷을 입고 있는 것이다. 조심하라. 왜냐면 내 빛은 부드러운 빛을 비추고, 내 빛을 외부를 향해 비추지 않고, 이 빛을 가진 사람은 겸손하게 행하고, 그는 더 이상 세상에 속한 것을 구하지 않기 때문이다. 어두움의 권세자는 자신을 높이고, 세상에서 인정받으려고 한다. 이를 통해 너희는 언제든지 너희에게 구원을 전해주기 위해 말을 걸어 오는 사람이 어떤 영으로 말하는지 분별할 수 있고, 이런 깨달음이 너희가 내 대적자에게 무릎을 꿇는 일로부터 너희를 보호할 것이다.
