Love for God - love for neighbour.... worker in the vineyard....

The word of God comes to you and you are thereby in the knowledge of the truth, you are knowledgeable and can instruct your fellow human beings. Thus you are labourers in the vineyard of the lord. Work can be a joy to a person, but it can also be a burden, and the latter when it is carried out reluctantly, when it therefore gives him no pleasure. Working for the lord in His vineyard is a voluntary service, and what is done voluntarily also gives joy, even if the work is hard. To be active for God and His kingdom on earth is the most beautiful work for a person who loves Him. Therefore, the love for God is decisive for the joy the work gives people, and this love for God must express itself in serving neighbourly love. Man must serve God by helping his neighbour in his need. Then deep peace and inner bliss will fill him and he will be a faithful servant to God. What is now offered to you by God shall cause you to be of service to your neighbour, for it is spiritual good which is indispensable for your fellow human beings, which they do not possess themselves and which should therefore be supplied to them. Humanity is poor in this, whereas you possess immeasurable wealth, a treasure which you should constantly increase and with which you can make everyone happy with whom you share yourselves. Then you serve God and your neighbour. And then you will also fulfil the divine commandment of love, and you will be blessed by God Himself, Who has chosen you as His labourers because He knows about your will to work for Him. And therefore you have no cause for discouragement, you have no cause for doubt as long as you receive His word from above which proves His love to you and which you should repay Him with your love.... Be good and helpful towards your neighbour and thereby give Him proof of your love for Him, which will truly be repaid to you....

하나님을 향한 사랑과 이웃을 향한 사랑. 포도원의 일꾼.

하나님의 말씀이 너희에게 제공되고, 이를 통해 너희는 진리를 깨닫게 되고, 알게 되어 너희 이웃을 가르칠 수 있다. 그러므로 너희는 주님의 포도원에서 일하는 일꾼이다. 이 일이 사람에게 즐거움이 될 수 있지만 짐이 될 수도 있다. 짐이 되는 경우는 마지 못해 일하는 경우이다. 즉 이 일이 그에게 기쁨을 주지 않는 경우이다. 포도원에서 주님을 위해 하는 일은 자발적인 봉사이고, 자발적으로 행하는 일이 너희에게 비록 힘이 들지라도 기쁨을 준다.

이 땅에서 하나님과 그의 나라를 위해 하는 일이 하나님을 사랑하는 사람에게 가장 아름다운 일이다. 그러므로 하나님을 사랑하는 일이 결정적이고, 하나님을 사랑하는 일이 사람들에게 기쁨을 준다. 이런 하나님을 향한 사랑은 이웃을 섬기는 일로 나타나야 한다. 사람은 위험에 처한 이웃을 도우면서 하나님을 섬겨야 한다. 그러면 그는 깊은 평안과 내면의 행복이 충만하게 될 것이고, 하나님께 충성스러운 종이 될 것이다.

하나님이 이제 너희에게 제공하는 것이 너희가 이웃을 섬기게 해야 한다. 왜냐면 그것은 너희 이웃에게 없어서는 안되는 것이지만 이웃이 가지고 있지 않고, 그러므로 이웃에게 제공해야 할 영적인 재물이기 때문이다. 인류는 영적인 재물의 측면에서 가난한 반면에 너희는 헤아릴 수 없는 부를 가지고 있고, 너희는 이런 부를 끊임없이 증가시켜야 한다. 너희는 이 재물을 가지고 너희가 이 재물을 제공하는 모든 사람을 기쁘게 할 수 있다. 그러면 너희가 하나님을 섬기고 이웃을 섬기는 것이다.

너희는 또한 하나님의 사랑의 계명을 성취시키고, 너희를 자신의 일꾼으로 택한 하나님의 축복 안에 서게 된다. 왜냐면 하나님이 너희가 자신을 위해 일하려는 너희의 의지를 알기 때문이다. 그러므로 너희가 너희를 향한 하나님의 사랑을 증명하고, 너희가 너희의 사랑으로 보답해야 하는 하나님의 말씀을 위로부터 받는 동안에는 너희는 낙담하고 의심할 필요가 없다. 이웃에게 선을 행하고 도움을 주라. 이를 통해 너희는 하나님을 향한 너희의 사랑을 증명하고, 너희는 진실로 보상을 받게 될 것이다.
