Spiritual or letter sense.... communion....

Everything I have spoken on earth is said for eternity and will therefore never lose the meaning I have given to My words. However, the fact that people themselves give them a different meaning must never lead to the assumption that I recognize this educated interpretation. Every person would have to come to the realization himself that and why certain interpretations of My word are wrong if only they would seriously think about it; yet they only adhere to the human interpretation and less to My word, which also allows for a different interpretation which should be thought through with the desire to recognize what is right and true.

(5.7.1950) It is certainly justified to quote My word unchanged as proof of the truth of a doctrine of faith, but it must always be kept in mind that it is not the word alone but the spirit of the word which gives the meaning in the first place, thus every word can also be applied if one wants to put a different meaning into it. What I have spoken only makes sense in connection with spiritual development and must therefore always be interpreted spiritually. It must be in connection with the whole, one word cannot be picked out at random and interpreted. My teaching is not incomprehensible, however, it also requires enlightened thinking, because My words only appear meaningless to an unenlightened spirit, thus the human being can only grasp the right meaning if his request for enlightened thinking has preceded it. No coherence can be found with merely intellectual interpretation, pure intellectual thinking gives My word a meaning which can sometimes even be contrary to what I want to say to people. For one thing has to be taken into account, that there is always a battle between truth and lies or error and that the representatives of both sides want to win people's souls, thus they try to influence their thoughts. And the forces of darkness will always intervene where the intellect alone is active, because it is not possible for them to take notice where the human being's spirit is enlightened by his will and his call to Me....

(6/7/1950) You humans could all be instructed by the spirit within you and then you would also immediately recognize where My teaching is permeated by error; where the interpretation of My word is given according to the letter but not according to the meaning; you would also be able to correct any error yourselves through bright thinking, for then you would always be assured of My support which I grant to everyone who desires the pure truth. Yet the adversary endeavours to keep you in ignorance and will try to obscure the truth precisely where important doctrines of faith are at stake. One false doctrine entails another, and a wrong interpretation of My word means a false doctrine.

I cannot stay in an earthly-material form in any other way than that the spiritual substance which is bound in this form is a part of Me which, after the former apostasy, shall slowly return to Me again.... But I, as a supremely perfect being, do not occupy a form which is visible to you in order to be present to you in this form. I am always and everywhere present, yet whether you are aware of Me and can feel Me depends solely on your attitude towards Me. Consequently, you cannot unite with Me through a specific process but only through your self-shaping into love, which results in a direct connection with Me. You therefore have a wrong idea of the Last Supper with My disciples.... because you again only read the literal sense out of My words which I spoke to the disciples but not the spiritual sense.... I gave out bread and wine.... food and drink, I gave and the others received.... always I will be the giver and distribute the bread of heaven, the nourishment of the soul, which it finds in My word alone, which gives it the strength to ascend.... Do the same in My memory.... These words were the simplest indication of the fulfilment of the commandment of neighbourly love, which alone earns people the impartation of My word.... which alone secures My presence for them, so that I can therefore take supper with them as I have promised. My words, My actions were only figurative indications of what they should do in remembrance of Me.... And anyone who asks for the enlightenment of spirit will brightly and clearly recognize and understand the meaning of My words, for the awakening of spirit presupposes a way of life in love, thus also already the union with Me, which earns him fullest truth. Yet as long as people do not understand the spiritual meaning of My words, as long as they still believe Me to be bound in an earthly material form, their spirit is not yet awakened, and therefore they cannot distinguish error from truth....

Sentido espiritual ou literal.... Communion....

Tudo o que tenho falado na Terra é dito para toda a eternidade e, portanto, nunca perderá o significado que tenho dado às Minhas Palavras. Contudo, o facto de as próprias pessoas lhes darem um significado diferente nunca deve levar à suposição de que reconheço esta interpretação educada. Cada pessoa teria de se dar conta disso e por que razão certas interpretações da Minha Palavra estão erradas se apenas pensassem seriamente nisso; no entanto, apenas aderem à interpretação humana e menos à Minha Palavra, o que também permite uma interpretação diferente que deve ser pensada com o desejo de reconhecer o que é certo e verdadeiro. (5.7.1950) Justifica-se certamente citar a Minha Palavra inalterada como prova da verdade de uma doutrina de fé, mas deve-se ter sempre em mente que não é apenas a Palavra, mas o espírito da Palavra que dá o significado em primeiro lugar, assim cada Palavra pode também ser aplicada se se quiser atribuir-lhe um significado diferente. O que falei só faz sentido em relação ao desenvolvimento espiritual e deve, portanto, ser sempre interpretado espiritualmente. Deve estar em ligação com o todo, uma palavra não pode ser escolhida ao acaso e interpretada. O meu ensino não é incompreensível, no entanto, requer também um pensamento esclarecido, porque as Minhas Palavras só parecem sem sentido para um espírito não esclarecido, pelo que o ser humano só pode compreender o significado correcto se o seu pedido de pensamento esclarecido o tiver precedido. Nenhuma coerência pode ser encontrada com uma mera interpretação intelectual, o pensamento intelectual puro dá à Minha Palavra um significado que por vezes pode até ser contrário ao que eu quero dizer às pessoas. Porque uma coisa tem de ser levada em conta, que há sempre uma batalha entre a verdade e a mentira ou o erro e que os representantes de ambos os lados querem conquistar as almas das pessoas, tentando assim influenciar os seus pensamentos. E as forças das trevas intervirão sempre onde só o intelecto está activo, porque não lhes é possível tomar consciência onde o espírito do ser humano é iluminado pela sua vontade e pelo seu apelo a Mim.... (6/7/1950) Vós, humanos, podíeis todos ser instruídos pelo espírito dentro de vós e então também reconhecereis imediatamente onde o Meu ensinamento é permeado pelo erro; onde a interpretação da Minha Palavra é dada de acordo com a letra, mas não de acordo com o significado; também seríeis capazes de corrigir qualquer erro por vós próprios através de um pensamento brilhante, pois então estareis sempre seguros do Meu apoio, que concedo a todos os que desejam a pura verdade. No entanto, o adversário esforça-se por mantê-lo na ignorância e tentará obscurecer a verdade precisamente onde importantes doutrinas de fé estão em jogo. Uma falsa doutrina implica outra, e uma interpretação errada da Minha Palavra significa uma falsa doutrina.

Não posso permanecer sob uma forma material-matéria de outra forma que não seja a de que a substância espiritual que está ligada nesta forma é uma parte de Mim que, após a antiga apostasia, voltará lentamente para Mim novamente..... Mas eu, como Ser supremamente perfeito, não ocupo uma forma que lhe seja visível para estar presente nesta forma. Estou sempre e em todo o lado presente, no entanto, se Me conheceis e Me podeis sentir depende unicamente da vossa atitude para comigo. Consequentemente, não se pode unir a Mim através de um processo específico, mas apenas através da sua auto-formação em amor, o que resulta numa ligação directa comigo. Tendes, portanto, uma ideia errada da Última Ceia com os Meus discípulos porque só lestes de novo o sentido literal das Minhas Palavras que falei com os discípulos, mas não o sentido espiritual.... Eu dei pão e vinho.... comida e bebida, eu dei e os outros receberam.... sempre serei o doador e distribuirei o Pão do Céu, o alimento da alma, que encontra apenas na Minha Palavra, que lhe dá a força para ascender.... Faça o mesmo em Minha memória.... Estas palavras foram a indicação mais simples do cumprimento do mandamento do amor ao próximo, que só por si dá às pessoas a transmissão da Minha Palavra.... que só por si assegura a Minha presença para eles, para que eu possa, por isso, levar o jantar com eles como prometi. As Minhas Palavras, As Minhas acções foram apenas indicações figurativas do que deveriam fazer em memória de Mim.... E quem pedir a iluminação do espírito, reconhecerá e compreenderá claramente o significado das Minhas Palavras, pois o despertar do espírito pressupõe um modo de vida apaixonado, portanto também já a união comigo, o que lhe dá toda a verdade. No entanto, enquanto as pessoas não compreenderem o significado espiritual das Minhas Palavras, enquanto ainda acreditarem que Eu estou preso numa forma material terrestre, o seu espírito ainda não foi despertado, e por isso não conseguem distinguir o erro da verdade...._>Ámen
