Responsibility for accepting misguided teachings....

It is very difficult for people to disassociate themselves from knowledge they were taught from an early age on and which they therefore do not want to renounce as misguided. They accepted this knowledge without thinking about it and since their education is not their fault they cannot, at first, be held responsible for accepting wrong doctrines. Nevertheless, as soon as they are able to use their intellect themselves it is their duty to scrutinise whether this spiritual knowledge is true. And they will have to be answerable as to whether they used their intellect as soon as they were able to do so. They should not accept all spiritual values as truth without scrutiny, neither can they justify themselves on the basis that they received this knowledge and are therefore innocent if they endorse it during their earthly life. They forget that they are responsible for their souls. They forget that I do not punish them but that they punish themselves, that is, that they remain in their state of imperfection, which can never result in their bliss.... but that I cannot release them from this state because their redemption requires their active free will which they, however, did not use correctly or they would have used their intellect to examine these spiritual doctrines. They remained passive. To a certain extent they allowed themselves to be imposed by something which they could just as well have rejected if they had wanted to.

The fact that people are answerable for their souls means that they have to recognise their guilt, that they have to realise that their wretched position was their own fault and justly identify and admit their own neglect, thus they cannot unburden themselves at the expense of those who instructed them wrongly. Indeed, these teachers, too, will one day have to be accountable according to their guilt, yet someone who accepts misguided teachings is not exonerated from guilt, since I have given the human being intellect which he should use for the salvation of his soul first. Anyone who seriously wants the truth will make an effort and find it too. And every instruction offered to the person has to be reviewed if it claims to be true. Thus the human being is duty bound to compare the spiritual knowledge imparted to him with those teachings, and the right will shall also yield the right results. Yet the state of his soul after his death depends on the person’s attitude towards the truth conveyed to him by My will.... full of light or darkness.... For only truth gives light to the soul, whereas error keeps the soul in darkness in which it had languished at the beginning of its earthly course of life as a human being but which it could have escaped had it used its will correctly....

Responsabilidade pela aceitação de falsas doutrinas....

É demasiado difícil para as pessoas desligarem-se do conhecimento que lhes foi ensinado desde a sua juventude e que por isso não querem abandonar como erróneo. Sem pensar que aceitaram este conhecimento, e uma vez que são irrepreensíveis pela sua educação, não podem ser responsabilizados por aceitarem ensinamentos falsos. Mas assim que eles próprios possam usar o seu intelecto, é também seu dever examinar este conhecimento espiritual pela sua veracidade. E terão de responder se deixam o seu intelecto tornar-se activo, na medida em que o possam fazer. Mas não lhes é permitido acreditar que todo o conhecimento espiritual é verdadeiro sem exame, tal como não se podem justificar com base no facto de terem recebido esse conhecimento e, portanto, não têm culpa se o defenderem durante a sua vida terrena. Esquecem-se que são responsáveis pelas suas almas, esquecem-se que eu não os castigo, mas que eles se castigam a si próprios, ou seja, que permanecem num estado de imperfeição em que nunca se podem tornar felizes.... mas que não os posso redimir deste estado porque o seu livre arbítrio tem de se tornar activo para esta redenção, mas que não usaram correctamente a sua vontade ou que teriam usado o seu intelecto para examinar este conhecimento espiritual. Permaneceram inactivos, deixaram que algo lhes fosse imposto, por assim dizer, o que também poderiam rejeitar se quisessem. Se as pessoas devem agora responder pelas suas almas, isto significa que devem reconhecer a sua culpa, que devem reconhecer a sua infeliz situação como auto-infligida e justa e admitir o seu próprio fracasso, não podendo assim exonerar-se a expensas daqueles que os ensinaram erradamente. Estes professores também terão certamente de responder um dia pela sua culpa, mas quem aceitar falsos ensinamentos não pode ser absolvido da culpa, uma vez que eu dei ao ser humano o intelecto que ele deve usar primeiro para a salvação da sua alma. Quem leva a verdade a sério, esforçar-se-á por ela e também a encontrará. E todas as instruções oferecidas ao ser humano têm de ser examinadas se afirmam ser verdadeiras. Assim, o ser humano também tem o dever de comparar o conhecimento espiritual que lhe é transmitido com estes ensinamentos, e a vontade certa de examinar também produzirá os resultados certos. Mas tal como o ser humano se ajusta quando recebe a verdade através da Minha vontade, o estado da sua alma após a sua morte será também.... lightful ou dark.... Pois só a verdade dá luz à alma, enquanto o erro deixa a alma na escuridão, na qual definhou no início da sua carreira terrena como ser humano, mas da qual poderia muito facilmente escapar se tivesse usado correctamente a sua vontade...._>Ámen
